Hahaha.
If that's true, why am I seeing sexism everywhere?
Sure, women might be more equal than they used to be, but things aren't fine.
I'm not female, and I see "sexism" everywhere. Both men and women have been heavily oppressed all throughout history. Men just had the luxury of drowning themselves in the masquerade of freedom and opportunity. Everyone was exploited in a unique way. Sexism is not unique to one sex alone, and women are far from the only victims.
Your very attitude is just furthering the divide between people. The anger and bitterness of the past serves its purpose, but unity is the only means for progress forward. If you really want to whine about societal inequality, then fight for the liberation of both sexes. Anything else is a slap in the face to the original (heavily bastardized and largely dissolved, now) feminist movement.

Though I have to admit I think most women are complete idiots and I hate myself for being female.
Unnecessary. We drive the course of our existence and define ourselves by our own choices. Association is transient, anything can be categorized a certain way if you look at it through the right lens. I understand the sense of shame being associated with the actions of "your" own sex, but you're no more defined by them than the color red defines violence.
I understand this feeling. I can't relate with either sex, and never could. As I said, we are ourselves, and we define ourselves. The body is simply a vessel to allow us to comprehend and experience the external world. What we do with that, and how we consider it, falls entirely to the individual, regardless of if you agree with the prior statement. -

Hang on, when I did say all 6th graders are getting pregnant? I said we live in an age where they are getting pregnant, and they are... not all of them though. You are putting words in my mouth mate.
.....really, you're gonna try to pull that? As if you weren't implying it? As if you weren't making the implication that it's the "norm" for 6th graders to have sex nowadays? It bugs the hell out of me when people try to pretend they didn't mean something just because they didn't say it directly. You very clearly implied that 6th graders are becoming more sexually active than previously, and I was saying that's not the case.
But let's say you didn't imply that, let's say you are telling the truth... the times are not changing at all, then. According to you, you made no such implication that kids were becoming more sexually active, only that a few scenarios existed where 6th graders got pregnant. I'm sure there were at least a handful 6th graders from generations before us that got pregnant.
So I guess this
We live in an age where middle schoolers (like 6th, not 8th) are getting pregnant.
applies to more than just this generation. So, if you meant what you say you meant, nothing is "changing," anyways. -

Laughing_Man16 posted a message on Can we please not loose our items when we die?Posted in: Suggestions
I really shouldn't need to say anything else. But if you insist.
You see minecraft survival has this really crazy system that is a large part of it's foundation. That system is based on the idea of survival. Get it? Now a large part of survival is NOT DIEING. Still with me? So you see in order to make staying alive a meaningful aspect of the game they added this crazy concept into the game called, wait for it... CONSEQUENCES. And to make sure that dying was a fairly serious thing the made it so that when you die your items drop around the area you died in.
Now I know having actual consequences for your actions must blow your mind, but try not to get lost in the details.
So you see. You are trying to get rid of a key part of the SURVIVAL aspect of the game.
If all you want to do is build then stop whining and go into creative and leave the rest of us alone. -

Okay, what else could possibly happen? The internet police give you a virtual smack on the face for cheating?
you miss the point entirely, I truly hope you get out of this "If I can get away with it its ok" mentality.. for your own sake and life. I mean that.. That is a road you really do not want to go down, it ends in blood and tears. -

This, do you see what you yourself said here.. "you replace your minecraft.jar with", that makes it a fully modded fully executable .jar, which makes it Criminal (there, now no more dancing around words, I said it.. Criminal)
I replace my minecraft.jar all the time when doing stuff like back-dating to older versions of minecraft. Am I a criminal because of that? Should I go to jail? For something as ridiculous as this? Really, and what are you going to tell the jury? "He renamed a java archive file! Look at his face, the face of a CRIMINAL!".
Oh yeah, nice quote-mining job. Made venomfangX look like an amateur. -

Blennox posted a message on Beds as chunk anchorsYou only ever have a certain area around you loaded at any one time. That means that if you go adventuring, time stands still at your base. Farms don't grow, animals don't grow up, redstone stops, etc. My idea involves turning beds into a 'world anchor' of sorts, that could keep nearby chunks loaded even when you're away at the time. This removes some of the invisible chains tying us to our bases, and allows us to consolidate our power in a central area, without forcing ourselves to stay there to keep everything functioning properly.Posted in: Suggestions
The most evident problem with this is the idea of the increased demand on your machine. This could simply be fixed by scaling the anchored area in relation to one's active loaded chunk radius (so when you lower the fog settings and load less blocks around you, so will the bed). There could also be problems in multiplayer, probably most easily solved by limiting the anchor abilities to only the player's spawn bed, and only anchoring the chunks when they're actively online. This both limits each player to one anchored area (reducing server stress), and preventing players from abusing the system to keep things growing while they aren't active. Relatively speaking, even a small anchor area could be immensely helpful. By default, it appears that people load chunks in a 21x21 square around themselves in multiplayer, a whopping 441 chunks. a measly 3x3 farm area is completely reasonable in comparison to that, and that's a 48m x 48m area, by no means a small plot. Of course, there could also be a config option to disable this feature or reduce it like there was for the nether.
Thoughts?
EDIT: for clarification, the area anchored is around your SPAWN, not necessarily your bed. that means ONLY ONE PER PLAYER.
EDIT: tl;dr: The area around your spawn point would be loaded no matter your location, the total area anchored would be far less than what is already loaded around you normally, though one would probably be capable of changing settings for anchored area size, and the anchored chunks get unloaded while you're not playing. -
