    So, I'm again redoing things in Definitance.

    Here's the old emerald ore.

    ~snip~

    And here's the new emerald ore.

    Could use some more embedding, but it looks good so far

    I've gotten this to run properly (for me at least), it's a great pack. I can provide some in-game screenshots for you, if you want

    If you try it, I would love to see screenshots. Feel free to incorporate the shaders in your texturepack.

    Tried it with a few random textures I've been doing. It's fantastic, it is

    Finally got around to your pack.

    Thanks for the review.
    I've done more work on the pack lately, though have yet to update it.

    Few things as well:

    The emerald blocks reflect my avatar's design. Teltrite is also explained in a .txt in the pack file itself. Sand has never been my strong point either.

    The mobs will remain unchanged until I've gotten everything else done.

    The thing on the zombie's back is meant to be
    a hole, it's just not textured fully.

    Particles will be last as well, I've not been able to successfully make the proper .mcmeta file for the water animation, and the newer block textures will be coming shortly, along with some paintings

    and yeah, I need to fix the iron helmet

    Hey guys, I can't get my gravel texture to look right; what do you guys think?

    Meapers is right, looks too much like stone, though it's a good start

    It's fantastic

    It's been a while since I've done anything (well, sort of -- I've actually mostly been doing Skyrim textures lately). I present a 512x carrot.

    ~Snip~

    Carrot looks nice, but the leaves look more like you glued a bit of broccoli to the top

    Just popping in to let people know that there is a pack using Scuttles' work: MSM Realism.
    If this is not sanctioned by Scuttles, then anyone who wishes to can join me in reporting this pack.

    Been dealt with, thanks for bringing it to attention

    I fixed a few colors, and diversified the ores.

    Oooh, looking good

    I´m finally done with my high res iron pickaxe after around 6 days and I´m pretty satisfied with the outcome. There are some things that turned out different than I wanted them to be and it looks a bit too lifeless compared to the sword by SiikiKala but that´s probably due to the lack of a graphics tablet.
    I will most likely never touch this thing again, but nevertheless I´d love to hear any critique or tips that you can give.

    The attention to detail is just......Oo

    Non-dithering is hard. Dithering makes sense for a bark texture, right? I might have to toss it, but I'm fairly happy with what I've done, considering I've never made a halfway decent log texture before.
    Tell me things.

    Non-Dithering can't be that hard. Good wood texture as well

    @grar
    It's great, but it makes your log tops look like bit like, well, lemons. Colour wise, that is

    These are the only blocks in my pack that I feel are worth keeping. Everything else will be changed completely. These blocks may be revamped. I am also very behind on the game (havn't played since I left)

    [EDIT] Actually, I see why i stopped posting here. My work = ugly. Hopefully I can do something new + experiment a bit.

    Some of those are good, but the gold and iron ores look like inconsistent clusters of colour, especially the iron

    Nice to see you're back as well

    Wait, are you a moderator on PMC? Or can you just say "hey, this is stolen", and a moderator removes it?

    Also, I hereby resign from the sheep cult. Let's be honest, it's starting to get a bit old.

    I'm a mod on there, so it's easy to take down anything that's stolen. I usually find them on my own, though there's been some mini-reports through here

    I've FINALLY made a dirt texture that tiles well and doesn't look like a cluster of noise. Joy :3

    (Tiled)

    (Single)

    Also, Stained glass for Soot

    @Dragonoid

    I'll have that removed shortly (Edit: Gone now)

    @XSSheep

    I'd love to see a high-res pack from you

    The menu buttons are difficult to see. The design almost makes it look like they're glitched and missing some pieces (but not in a good way). It just needs....more, I think.

    Hm...perhaps I can add a bit of broken-looking stone to the backing of them. Thanks

    Okay, so after a about 10 minutes, this is what I have come up with as an oak log texture. Keep in mind that this is just practice and this texture will certainly not be apart of my resource pack in its current state. I'm working on some simple templates as well so that I can maybe find something that I like that I can build upon. At this point, accurate coloring is the hardest thing for me to achieve, so I just sampled the default colors of the oak log.

    So here are some images of what I have done (all of which are log_oak).

    1. 2. 3. 4.

    I know these textures are rough, but that's the point. Anyway, you guys are the experts, let me know what you think. Hopefully I'm headed in the right direction. Hopefully.

    I like the second one, though rather than having two thick lines on either side, try to make the lines of the middle bits match up on the sides. That way, if you have two or more logs together, it won't look so out of place
