Just since I don't know where to look, if you were to make CTM textures, you would just add alternates for textures with the same name as in the /blocks folder in the /alternates folder?
Or do you need a CTM folder? If so, where?
You need a folder called mcpatcher inside of the minecraft folder. You put a ctm folder in there, and folders for each kind of ctm you want to do (i.e. CTM - Glass, or CTM - Bookshelf). You put the .properties files and texture variants in them.
The bottle is a bit odd. Give it a bit of shine or something. It almost looks like it's something that's been cut in half that has a blue center.
As I stated above, I've always had troubles with rounded shading for objects. Only the ender eye/ender pearl in my pack have ever turned out decent enough
The bricks look fantastic! I would love to see it with all of the bricks finished so I could give you a full opinion on it. The only thing that may still be a concern is if it will tile. I'm sure you are already keeping it in mind, but just try not to make any brick noticeably different from the others, so tiling won't be a problem.
The books look great, but I think the bottle in particular could use more rounded shading. With more pixels, the objects need more depth, so just add some light spotting and shading around the outsides, as much as you can without making the outsides too dark or making it not fit. also, no texture on the back of the bookshelf? Perhaps you can just put the planks texture in behind, darken it, and lower the opacity, so it is there, but not too clear?
The bricks tile well enough at the moment, I don't plan on changing any of them unless it's a CTM thing
For the shelf, I kept it flat there because I haven't been able to come up with a good backdrop yet, and I haven't started on the planks.
Will fix the bottle's shading soon, though I'm not very good with rounded shading.
I've also made a HUD for it, but I'm gonna show it off once the food bar is done (at least)
Did some more SB stuff, could I get some feedback?
Created the Ender Chest, Diamonds are now Dragon Scales, Gold tools now have embedded gems, pumpkins are Grave markers (more of a fix than something new), Fixed up the colours on the Endstone and End portal frame. Also, Diamond claymore
@Meapers
Armour and chest are looking good
@Syclone
First time since SkyChase posted his pack that I've seen HD armour THAT gorgeous
Secondly, the Birch planks look like they'd be better suited as the wool pattern, the jungle planks looks like they have a face (though that's not really a bad thing, just pointing it out), and the top of the Cactus is a bit plain. The Red mushroom block texture looks rather strange as well, though that may just be because how everything is layed out. I'm sure it looks fine in-game
Sorry I've been a ghost these last few months, been very very busy with work and life and all that lame stuff.
Will continue being busy until late fall early winter, hopefully I'll be able to get back into texturing around that time
I still recieve an email alert everytime someone posts on this thread so I never forget about you guys! (and I'm always watching:P)
Anyways, Just wanted to check in cause I miss the Minecraft/Texturing/internet world.
Later!
Great to see you're still around and kickin' SkyChase :3
I found another visual mod, a small but really nice one - the Better Grass & Leaves Mod. It's a continuation of the old Better Grass mod with a few more features. I'm experimenting with it at the moment, but i like the first tests a lot.

Default Hay is horrid. Thankfully they can be turned into Crates or thatching, so they'd be more useful.
Same with Sponges
