Jun 4, 2012Viper3X posted a message on [1.5.1] Phantom's Mods - OresPlus - RecipesPlus - MonsterEggsPlusI concur with DeadStorage, these mods are great if you don't want all of the extra features that come with IndustrialCraft, Redpower, etc. Additionally, it is a fantastic way to enhance your vanilla Minecraft experience if that is what you are looking for. Keep up the good work!Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Sep 11, 2011Yes, MW3 looks like MW2.5. But I still loved Modern Warfare 2. I didn't really care much for Black Ops... Black Ops had boring maps (except for Nuke Town), boring guns, boring.. mostly everything. The campaign was ok but the main part about COD is the multiplayer.Posted in: General Gaming
I love the story of Modern Warfare 1 and 2. The guns in MW2 were awesome, and so were the maps. The gameplay of Call of Duty is what makes Call of Duty what it is today... And it's awesome. Yes, the maps are close quarters (most of them), but that's what I love about it.
I know you said not to mention Battlefield 3, but I must say, they have really stepped up their game. I'm not saying their previous games were bad (Battlefield is awesome), but they are really going to try to out-sell MW3, and in my opinion they may have the better over-all quality game. But I will probably still stick to MW3.
I have read a LOT about MW3 (I have been a COD fan for many years.) and I know all about their perks and killstreaks, new game modes, guns, and maps. I'm really glad they are finally bringing back the G36 that was in the original Modern Warfare. I am also really glad they are going to bring the HK416 into MW3 too (although I think they have it under a different name.). MW3's perks look pretty much the same as MW2's perks, with a few new ones added and a couple removed.
Yes, the graphics may look VERY similar to MW2, but to me that isn't too much of an issue. I think the graphics still look really good and the game will still be a hit. But it still disappoints me that they didn't make a new engine in the 2 years that they had and Dice still managed to make one for Battlefield 3.
I am going to purchase both Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. I am very excited for both of the games. I think I might even purchase the Hardened Edition for MW3.
The new Call of Duty Elite looks pretty cool. It sucks that they have to charge money for it, but people will still pay for it. It's going to cost around $5 a month, but think of it, DLC costs a steep $15. A new DLC comes out every 2 or so months, meaning that overall you will be getting it for cheaper, plus all of the other features that Elite has to offer.
I really like the new Strike Package idea. It looks pretty cool. The killstreaks are all pretty much the same, but there is new ones that come with the Support Strike Package. The strike packages add a new twist to the game, almost like a class system.
I really like how they are bringing back quick scoping, it never really bothered me that people quick scoped mainly because quick scoping on the PC takes skill, and even if I got killed by a quick scoper I was never like "Wow, what a quick scoping noob". I mean, the majority of people that complain when they are killed by a quick scoper is because they probably suck at it. But not that many people quick scope on the PC anyways, at least, not in public servers. I mainly quick scoped in private matches with my friends. Oh, and before I forget, what quick scoping perk are you talking about? I have heard nothing about that, and I doubt they would ever add one... Are you talking about Steady Aim? Because that was never created to aid quick scoping. Or perhaps you are talking about Quickdraw? No, that wasn't made to help quick scoping, and I don't think it really will. At least not by a large amount.
Anyways, that's all I have to say for now, as you can see, I am pretty excited about MW3 and BF3.
