That's really hard to answer because it depends on the person. Personally, I'd upgrade the graphics card after about 2-3 years if I wanted to play everything on at least high to max settings. I'd look into overclocking your CPU eventually and getting a new CPU cooler to help.

If you're just playing Guild Wars 2, which is singlethreaded, get an i3 3220 instead as it'll perform better on that. However, the 6350 will do better on modern multithreaded games. In fact, if you're just playing GW2, get a 7850 or GTX 650 ti BOOST instead of the 7870 as you don't need that much power.

I'd go with the $811 dollar build since you need an OS and optical drive. Make sure to get the 7870 over the 660 and the 6350 over the 6300. Go a little cheaper on the motherboard and get an Asus m5a97 r2.0.

To be honest I wouldn't recommend gathorisx's build, as mentioned having two lower-end cards tend to perform worse overall. Build is also a quite bit unbalenced, with an overly high-end motherboard (compared to the lower-end CPU), dual HDD's and $13 fans. It's also over budget (with the original PSU) since there's no OS included, plus it would perform worse overall to the system I put up.
I would recommend Christoi's second build, but like I said, adding a 750W would probably price the PC for about $25 above budget, while with the 850W PSU you are moving towards the $1000 budget build.

Unfortunately, it costs $25 more, but I think it is not a big problem to pour another fifty bucks in. Otherwise, we can drop in the price by replacing the 1Tb HDD with 500 Gb. Of course this will mean less space to put in stuff, but you can always buy another one and make a RAID 0 storage, which will be much much faster than one single HDD of 1Tb space.
I definitely want that 1tb so I don't have to worry about it later, going a bit over budget won't hurt thanks guys for all your help!

No, not 1000W that would be an overkill. A 650W would be good, but I would suggest a 750W or 850W so you have enough power for any future system upgrades.

Main difference is that the first build has an i5 3570k, while the second has an FX6300 along with an SSD. Performance difference in games will be small between the two chips, but generally the i5 does tend to fare better in most titles. Since the difference is small I'd say the FX may be the better choice (especially if you get a cooler and overclock it later on), but both setups are worth considering.
Both builds have been put together so you can add a cooler and overclock in the future, however if not you could opt for a non-k i5 with the first and a cheaper motherboard with the second.

Hello computer intellectuals, I have come to this forum to get as much advice as I can for an optimal gaming PC at the budget price of 900 USD.(skipping next gen consoles for now) I do very little else on my PC, mainly web browsing and emulation.
Finally got around to listen what's the fuss about.
I can see why some people don't like it. I'd have to agree with a couple of people here, it doesn't sound as much ecstatic as it'd be like the Second Coming of Christ. Go ahead and stab me on the back since I don't like Funk much, but...it could've been done better.
It's certainly not for everyone but that's okay musical tastes are different for everyone. I just like funk because it reminds me of clubs where dancing was actually dancing and not sex in public like it is now.

That reminds me, I need to go and preorder their new CD. Even though 'Get Lucky' isn't the same type of music Daft Punk used to make (at least from what I can recall) I still liked it. Can't wait to see what other songs they've made.
It definitely is something in a new direction, but you can only make good music in one genre for so long before you run out of musical inspiration. I can't wait too!
If you don't have an HDTV, then just save for a year, and buy one on Black Friday like I did. And the reason people want a refund was because the main feature they were looking forward to is the 4 player split screen, without that, they don't really care about the game at all.
