For some reason, all maids spawn with the exact same (grey skirt, brown hair) skin. Both those spawned by eggs, and randomly in the world. What could be the cause of this? The default texture setting is blank in the .cfg.

Also, I feel like all the sound files are cut off just a split second too early, so the sound ends abruptly and unnaturally.

Thats a vanilla limitation and this affects every non-opaque block, placement restriction is tied to the non-opaque-flag. So changing this behavior will involve editing base classes.

Not entirely true. In an earlier version of RP2, one could place wires on glass panels/covers. The back of the wire would not render, and they would be transparent from behind. In fact, it was I who reported the issue to Eloraam, who promixed to fix it. So blame the inability to place wires onto transparent covers on me, not on the engine.

Ah, I see, that was it. Thanks. I guess I will have to find another configurable chunk loader.

When I try to install ChickenChunks, I run into a problem where the block simply isn't showing up. I'm running with MCForge 3.3.8.164 and the latest version of CodeChickenCore and ChickenChunks. The mods list shows mod_ChickenChunks as loaded. The block ID that I assigned it to (427) is not showing up, and in fact shows up as an empty blockID when checked.

I have a question: will the Forestry bees spawn in the biomes added by this mod, and if not, is it possible to make them do so?

I've recently started using this tool, and it's very useful. I am running into certain issues, though. I am trying to convert a custom map (Eldaria V3) for use with a selection of technic mods (IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, RedPower, and some more). Basically, what I want to do is repopulate all the chunks so that they have a healthy mix of vanilla and mod materials. While the repopulate function works to a certain extend, I ran into a problem: TOO MANY VOLCANOES. Basically, with repopulated chunks, I get a volcano every 10-20 chunks or so. Sometimes it's even worse. Attached is an image of the Eldaria spawn area after having its chunks repopulated with those technic mods installed. See the minimap for the true scope of the problem.

Another issue is that barely any rubber trees spawn in repopulated areas covered with the jungle biome brush.

I understand that this tool was not intended to be used with mods, but maybe someone in this thread has already ran into and resolved a similar problem.

I can confirm the problem with Chunk Loading Blocks. They do not work for me anymore. I set up an engine system at my base, then swim over to the volcano where I set up a Filler to extract Basalt. Yet the power is not transferring. The Block has definitely ceased working, at least for me.

Um, just a tip, Grizzly. Double posting is generally frowned upon on forums, and might get you a trouble with moderators. In future, just edit your posts if you want to add something.

If anyone can help I would be grateful. I am trying to disable one of the copper and tin ores. I trying RP2 and making it 0 after copper and tin, but both ores spawned in my world. So I turned IC2 copper and tin to false and that didn't work either, I still get 2 different copper and tin ores in my worlds. I don't know what else to do.

    thanks in advance

Are you playing with Forestry? Did you disable copper and tin there, too? Forestry adds its own versions.

I've experienced the Batpack breaking on me a few times. Either from fall damage, or from being hit by monsters with an empty Batpack. Really frustrating. Maybe I'll report the issue to Alblaka.

I like Somnia... when playing on my more powerful Desktop, which can emulate the world at 12-15x.

Then I start playing on my laptop. "Emulating the world at 3x" (happened to me in my 1.0 playthrough, had so much automation it started lagging majorly even with Optifine)... Yeah, no thanks. Somnia is both a blessing and a curse.

You should install crafting table II, crafting has never been easier

I tried to comment on your channel but it acted weirdly

CT2 is a hell to use when you have many mods installed, and is also a problem when you have to craft many of a certain item. Example: you want to craft 10 circuits. You get the materials needed, and start clicking on the circuit to craft it. However, after 3 crafts, you will only have 7 refined iron. This means you can no longer craft the Machine Block, which will also be in the crafting grid. It gets removed from the list, and all items move to the left/up one unit. You now have to move the mouse cursor to a new spot to start crafting more circuits. And so on, as you craft more items, and are left with fewer resources, items will disappear off the grid, and you will have to move the mouse. Even worse if when you Shift+Click, because then there is no item on your cursor, and you might misclick and craft an item you never wanted to craft. Happened to me more than once.

Also, some common materials, like wood or redstone, will literally fill the crafting grid with items, and since every craft scrolls the window to the top, you will have to scroll it back down to craft the item again.

All in all, my experience with CT2 has been very unpleasant.

Hey Direwolf 20. You had mentioned something in one of the episodes about disabling ore generation for RP2 copper and tin. (I know that you also said that this happens automatically with forestry if IC2 is installed.) I was wondering if the IC2 ores work for those and other mods automatically and if so if you or someone else could tell me how to disable the unneeded ones.

The Forge Ore Dictionary ensures that any copper, tin, bronze etc are cross-compatible between all mods that use Forge. Therefore, it is completely fine to just have one set of each ore in the game.

    To disable copper and tin:

RP2: .minecraft/redpower/redpower.cfg. Scroll down to the bottom of the file, set generate copper and tin to =0.
Forestry: .minecraft/config/forestry/base.conf. Set world.generate.copper and world.generate.tin to =false. Also, if you are experiencing BlockID issues, set world.register.tinBlock=false.

I prefer an IC2 mining laser set to Explosive mode (don't stand too close to it though!). You can take down a tree within a single Minecraft day (though you'll need a LapPack to have enough energy to do so)...

Check my equipment in the screenshot, this is very early game. I spawned on a large, but still island. It had very few IC2 rubber trees and no cacti (I had to sail to a nearby desert island to get some to grow for waterproofing). So I decided to go for the RP2 trees instead.

I've already got my 1.1 world started and was going for a few days prior to this, so I can't use your configs or it'll break. :sad.gif:

I want to add the Laser Mod but I need to find a few available IDs... trial and error isn't working too well, ID Checker has not been updated and ID Resolver breaks some mods. So it looks like I'm going to have to make a list of available IDs manually. :sad.gif:

I did that right off the bat when I started installing mods on 1.1. Here is my list (I tweaked most values manually, except for RP2, which I left default):

    IC2: 123-154
    BC: 155-179, 254-255
    AdditionalPipes: 180
    Forestry: 181-190
    RailCraft: 191-195
    MFFS: 196-198
    Laser: 199-203
    ThaumCraft: 204-208
    EE: 209-213
    APS: 214-217
    WRS: 218-219
    RedPower: 239-253

    Free IDs: 220-238 (19)
