    Greetings!



    I just today upgraded to a GTX 970, and decided to test the waters with GLSL and SEUS. Unfortunately, even using the 10.2 fix provided in this forum, I still run into a load of graphical glitches. Those include flickering shadows and a load of issues underground. Pictures related. As you can see, I've tried different shaders, and each of them provides a unique assortment of bugs underground.

    I am playing FTB Monster 1.1.1, Minecraft 1.6.4.

    I've got a crash when joining a server. This crash started happening after I placed down a Dynamism Tablet - it instantly booted me, and now crashes every time. The problem is, I am having a hard time contacting the server owner outside of the game, so I can't ask him to remove the tablet that easily. This does not happen when I place the Tablet in a SSP world.

    I've got a question. Is it possible to breed MoC horses from the vanilla ones? I am playing on a server, and having explored a large portion of it, I only found zebras as the only MoC horse type. Meanwhile, the island I am settled on has a HUGE amount of vanilla horses of all types. I tried breeding some tier 2 horses from the vanilla tier 1 ones (such as white + dark brown or white + black), but no success so far. I've been breeding them using golden carrots, as well as golden apples (once).

    Is there a reason as to why the Power Gauntlet does not work on some mod wood and gravel/sand blocks, as well as glass? For instance, try chopping down Greatwood or Silverwood from TC3 using even a max overclock axe module. Same applies to the Natura trees (eucaliptus, etc) and MineFactory rubber trees. I think the Natura gravel ores aren't supported by the shovel module, either.

    Could you please explain what you mean by a subnetwork? As in, transfer crafting items into an isolated network where they are dumped into appropriate machinery, and then extracting the result back into the main system? I was thinking of making something similar except using a chest with wooden pipes. It'd be more space and energy efficient than having to set up an additional ME controller, ME chest for the disk storage, and then 2 export buses.

    No, IC2 advanced machines are the fastest. However, like I said before, you can attach a BC hopper on top of a machine, and then feed the ME interfaces into that. BC hoppers accept inputs from all 5 sides except from below, and even have an internal storage themselves.

    Why do you have this thing hanging out in your main area, though? In essense, this is a trash bin. Put it in your basement or something.

    [EDIT]: I was wrong about ME interfaces only holding 1 recipe. You can actually input up to 9 pattern encoders with smelting/pulverizing/macerating/extracting/etc recipes into one interface. Combine that with a Thermal Expansion machine, which can have up to 4 inputs (and 1 output + 1 power supply side), and you can have up to 36 smelting recipes per powered furnace!

    You can use chutes/hoppers, I suppose. Or otherwise input the items into a nearby chest or relay which is then connected to a processing machine.

    Yes. It's perfectly fine to use if you use fast processing machines (like Advanced Machines for IC2), but you might still use the level limiter + export bus option if you want to, for instance, keep 10 stacks of smoothstone in your network at all times - because when you need those 10 stacks, having to wait for 640 items to smelt could be annoying.

    Here I have 2 exporters with 2 limiters pointing at them (is this setup right?). This is correctly limiting dirt and cobblestone to 10,000. If it's over 10,000, it sends it over the tess and then voids it. If it's under, it doesn't. This works great but surely there is a way to limit more items to a single block?     Sadly, that is the only way to use this - you need to have 1 level emitter per export bus. If only AE had bundled cable functionality, we would perhaps be able to bind up to 16 item levels. Or this could be directly implemented into the ME Interface, we'll see in the future.

    As for the crafting: use ME interfaces. They allow you to insert custom encoded patterns in order to get them to behave in the same way as the Molecular Assembler. You will need 1 interface per such crafting recipe. HOWEVER. If you just want to process, say, all your metal dusts, just use an export bus and an import bus on a furnace, and dump 10 different dusts into the export bus filters. If you want the system to always keep a stock of certain produce, you will have to use export buses and level emitters, though.

    Also, I am so confused with priority levels. some sites claim higher number means things will be sent/received before lower numbers. However DW20 claimed the exact opposite in his LP. I can't figure it out, because it seems with one of my exporters it needs to be lower to take priority, however when depositing items into chests, it's the exact opposite... if I set them low items get scattered to any chest in the system.


    I would post a proper setup if I were at home, but I will suffice in trying to explain it with words.

    The level emitter should be facing the export bus, as that is the bus that limits the amount of materials put into the furnace/macerator/pulverizer/whatever. Think of it as a simple redstone torch that only emits a redstone signal when the conditions in the "torch" are fulfilled. The emitter emits the signal in the direction it's facing - i.e. away from the cable side. And yes, both the emitter and the export bus have to be connected to the same ME network.

    As for priorities, the AE info site clearly dictates that higher priority # equals higher priority. So a higher priority chest will be filled before a lower priority one. http://ae-mod.info/Miscellaneous-Tips/

    I have a question regarding autocrafting. Does it craft in multiple steps if needed? Say, I want to create a piston, but don't have planks (but have a recipe for those in the Assembler), will it autocraft planks from logs if I ask it to create a piston for me?
