What are the chances that the person pirating the game is just a 13 year old kid with no income from a third world country? I say most of the pirates are 13 year old kids that don't understand the concept of business.

Forget your friends, forget your family, worry about a couple of random strangers that you'll most-probably never even meet. The only reason that they'd have been affected by the riots was if they lived in the centre of one of the rioting cities & have had their houses burned down (which is extremely unlikely).
