    I think it doesn't work on servers because of the way 1.12.2 handles initializing mod animations and I never could find a (consistently bug-free) way to make animations and servers work simultaneously. I was planning on updating my mod to check if it's being run on a server and if so, disable animations but I haven't really had the time to implement that yet. I might do that soon but it just depends (on if my profs. want to be hardasses about assigning homework this semester or not)

    I know of at least one person that found a workaround though but I can't remember what he did. I think it will work just out of the box if you run a lan server using the Minecraft launcher itself. That can still be pretty fun and the TNTs will be available and explode correctly for all players on the lan as long as they all have the mod installed.

    When I port this mod to 1.13, I'll try to push to find a hack/workaround/correct way for it to be run in a server without crashing it and if possible, update the 1.12 version as well.

    The latest update for Firefox and Chrome have been flagging all jar files as bad for whatever reason (browser developers keep getting stupider and stupider). You have to tell it to ignore the warning usually by right-clicking the error message when it pops up.

    I have updated the mod to version 1.0.1. Here is what is improved:

    • Added 6 new TNTs: Arrow TNT, Airborne TNT, Teleportation TNT, Warp TNT, Fact TNT and Jail TNT.
    • Modified the Mine TNT so that when it encounters ores, it will mine them and then drop the ore on the ground rather than delete it entirely causing any resources caught in the blast to be lost. Now, you can use the Mine TNT and be able to pick up ores that it Mined.
    • Added a splash logo for the mcmodinfo screen.
    • Added Spanish localization leftover from the 1.7.2 version

    The Super TNT Mod for Minecraft 1.12.2

    Adds 56 new TNTs to Minecraft

    One of the TNTs is 100000x bigger than regular TNT and makes a 10000x10000 crater!*

    *At least 32GB of ram is recommended to be dedicated to java to run it and it lags for a long time.

    Updated 7/9/18 (latest version is 1.0.1)

    Download link below

    Ok everyone, this is a remake of my Super TNT Mod for 1.7.2. It currently has 56 TNTs. Below is a full list of all 56 of them and a description of what they do. It is also the closest you can get to having the Too Much TNT mod on 1.12.2.

    For a more detailed description including recipes and screenshots, go here.

    • Large TNT - About 5x bigger than the regular tnt
    • Massive TNT - Around 200x bigger than the regular tnt
    • The Super TNT of Mass Destruction - Makes a huge crater. If I had to guess, I would estimate that it's 5000x bigger than the regular tnt.
    • Doom TNT: The Gold Plated Plutonium Alloy Coated Eight Volume Nuclear Donkey Edition - This one is 3-5 times bigger than the Super TNT of Mass Destruction.
    • The End TNT - The One To Rule Them All - This one make an enormous hole.
    • Black Hole TNT - this one makes an even bigger hole. To reduce lag, it makes a square crater and not a round crater. It's a 1000x1000 hole.
    • Anti-Dimensional Singularity TNT - Makes a ludicrously enormous explosion. It's 5000x5000 blocks.
    • NO - Makes the biggest explosion in the mod. 10000x10000 in size.
    • The Biome Buster - Turns your biome into a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
    • Cluster TNT - Spawns 100s of regular tnts everywhere.
    • Super Cluster TNT - Spawns some Cluster TNTs which then spawn bazillions of regular tnts everywhere.
    • Heck TNT - Turns everything into a nether biome.
    • Fire TNT - Makes fire go everywhere.
    • Snow TNT - Makes snow go everywhere, freezes water if its close enough.
    • Ocean TNT - Makes an ocean. Works 10000000 times better and more efficiently than it did in the old version of the mod.
    • Sponge TNT - Can be used to soak up a large body of water. Must be submerged in water to work.
    • Lava Ocean TNT - Does the same thing as the Ocean TNT except it does it with lava.
    • Diamond TNT - turns everything into diamonds
    • Diamond Nuke TNT - more op than the Diamond TNT. It's serious stuff.
    • House TNT - Spawns a house
    • Bunker TNT - Spawns a house made out of obsidian
    • Mob TNT - Spawns a random mob. Withers and Enderdragons won't spawn from this.
    • Mob Swarm TNT - Spawns 700-800 random mobs. Withers and Enderdragons won't spawn from this.
    • Atomic Mob Swarm TNT - Spawns ~1500 random mobs including withers. Enderdragons don't spawn because Minecraft 1.12.2 has a bug where spawning enderdragons doesn't work properly.
    • Anti Mob TNT - A TNT that kills mobs but doesn't destroy terrain
    • Arrow TNT - shoots arrows everywhere
    • Tree TNT - Spawns a tree
    • Forest TNT - Spawns a 100x100 forest
    • Tiny Island TNT - Spawns a small floating island.
    • Island TNT - Copies land around it and pastes it around 30-50 blocks in the air.
    • Nostalgia TNT - This will make you feel nostalgic
    • Everything TNT - Spawns everything in the game randomly all over the place at random. Quite dangerous.
    • LGBTQQIP2SAA TNT - Makes everything rainbow.
    • Trump TNT - All this does is build a wall and make the villagers pay for it.
    • Kim Jong TNT - offends North Korea and starts WW3 irl. The most dangerous TNT in the whole mod. Screenshots can never be posted or shown for safety reasons although it is in no way offensive or obscene.
    • Is it Christmas TNT - Tells you if it is Christmas or not
    • Crappy TNT - This one is crappy.
    • Really Crappy TNT - This one is really crappy.
    • Cheesy TNT - Turns everything into cheese and then proceeds to play a song about cheese on a jukebox.
    • Flat TNT - Flattens everything around it.
    • Mining TNT - Place this underground to make a flat cavern with torches to illuminate the place. Useful for making a mining shaft or something.
    • Rake TNT - Plows a large area of land
    • Time TNT - Changes the time to day or night
    • Weather TNT - Toggles the weather between clear and rain (or snow if the biome supports it)
    • Lightning TNT - Makes a ton of lighting go everywhere.
    • Crack TNT - Makes a huge fault line in the ground that goes all the way down to bedrock.
    • Weed TNT - Spawns weeds, grass, saplings, sugar cane and other random foliage everywhere.
    • Fact TNT - Tells you a fact. Facts given from the Fact TNT may or may not be 100% correct.
    • Cave TNT - Makes a cave
    • Save TNT - Saves your game
    • Wave TNT - Causes a tsunami wave
    • Airborne TNT - Spawns weeds, grass, saplings, sugar cane and other random foliage everywhere.
    • Jail TNT - Spawns a jail and then teleports all entities and mobs including the player into it.
    • Teleportation TNT - Teleports all entities and mobs including the player to wherever it explodes.
    • Warp TNT - Warps each player/mob/entity to a random coordinate in the map.
    • Atomic Diamond TNT - Makes a gazillion diamonds go everywhere, engulfing everything in its path. Incredibly op.
    • Atomic Lava Nuke TNT - Makes lava engulf a large area of the map. Pretty much the same thing as the Atomic Diamond TNT except with lava instead of diamond.

    Here are some videos I made about it.

    Quick trailer:

    18 minute video demonstrating many of the different TNTs and what they do:

    System Requirements:

    To play this mod, you need to be using Minecraft 1.12.2. Forge also has to be installed.

    In order to prevent your game from crashing, you should probably use at least -Xmx3G for your launch arguments but I recommend -Xmx8G if you have the ram for it. This mod does take less ram than the 1.7.2 version and lags less but it still helps to have a good computer and have java properly set up.

    Note that the "No" TNT and the Anti-Dimensional Singularity TNT need at least 8GB (recommended 32GB for the "No" TNT) to not crash and it will take a long time to explode. The Black Hole TNT takes a long time if you don't have a good computer. Everything else is reasonable and barely lags on reasonable machines.

    Download:

    HERE is the link to the download page!

    The latest version is for 1.12.2 and the mod version is 1.0.1.

    Have fun!

    Are you asking how to use this mod in Minecraft in Windows 10? Well, assuming you are trying to install it on Minecraft Java edition, the only compatible edition, you need to install Forge and then put this jar file in your predesignated mods folder. If you need help with that, try Googling "How to install forge Minecraft 1.12.2". You can then proceed to install the 1.12.2 version of this mod which is now available.

    Announcement time:

    So I am now announcing that the Super TNT Mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 has finally been released.

    Are you looking for the Too Much TNT Mod/Super TNT Mod for 1.12.2? Well the download page is here.

    I can't update the original post because it's bugged or something so I'll just make a new thread here shortly.

    posted a message on [1.7.2][Forge]Super TNT mod

    Here I'm posting some of the destructive TNTs that I have.

    Large TNT

    Here is the Large TNT.

    It makes a larger explosion than the default one that already comes in Minecraft like so.

    Massive TNT

    The next largest tnt is the Massive TNT.

    The explosion it makes is, as the name describes, massive. It's big enough that you should not even bother trying to protect yourself in an Obsidian base, it will do no good.

    Super TNT

    Now is where the explosions start getting really big. This one is called the Super TNT. It makes a very large crater.

    This isn't even the biggest one. There is MUCH stronger stuff.

    Doom TNT: The Gold Plated Plutonium Alloy Coated Eight Volume Nuclear Donkey Edition

    Here is Doom TNT: The Gold Plated Plutonium Alloy Coated Eight Volume Nuclear Donkey Edition. It makes an even larger explosion than the Super TNT. It lags for about 30 seconds before going off on my machine.

    The TNT to End All TNTs

    This is bigger than the previous TNT. Enough said. If you are on a weak computer, this TNT and anything beyond has a percentage remaining report so you'll know when it will stop lagging. This hole has a 400 block diameter.

    This is especially useful for if you need to blow up a building but you forgot where it is except that you're probably in the same biome as it.

    Black Hole TNT

    So what if you need to destroy a building but it's lost really well? As in, it might even be several biomes over. Well with the Black Hole TNT, that's no problem! Just place it anywhere and say goodbye to everything you've ever known.

    Up until this point, all the TNTs have given you a big hole in your world. That's what this next one does but good luck finding the rest of the world afterwards.

    Look. There's hardly anything to see. I had to walk in a single direction for a while before I got to the end. The hole in this one is 1000 blocks from one end to the next.

    It must be noted that this STILL isn't the biggest TNT in the mod. Not even close.

    Anti-Dimensional Singularity TNT

    This stuff is bad. It's really dangerous. It's so massive that you might lag for hours. The hole is so big that it's scary. The hole is 5000 blocks wide. This stuff is so ridiculous. If you don't have a lot of ram allocated to java it might crash. I didn't take a picture of this one, simply because there isn't much to see. It's just like the picture of the explosion of the above tnt. It goes past the draw distance.

    It's so big it might crash your game.

    It's still not the biggest TNT in the mod though, which brings us to the next TNT...

    NO

    Here it is. The biggest TNT in the mod. This is so big it will crash not your computer, but real life.

    I don't ever want someone to show me up in a Minecraft mod by making a bigger TNT. That's why I made this. This beast makes a hole that is 10000x10000 and goes all the way down to bedrock.

    After using this TNT, GOOD LUCK getting back to the playable area, if there even is playable map left.

    I'm also posting a list of many of the TNTs here. I am no longer able to edit my first post so I will start a new thread as soon as I have enough worthy content to make one.

    Current TNT list:

    • Large TNT
    • Massive TNT
    • Super TNT
    • Doom TNT: The Gold Plated Plutonium Alloy Coated Eight Volume Nuclear Donkey Edition
    • The TNT to End All TNTs
    • Black Hole TNT
    • Anti-Dimensional Singularity TNT
    • No (this is so big it will crash real life)
    • Biome Buster
    • Cluster TNT
    • Super Cluster TNT
    • Heck TNT
    • Fire TNT
    • Snow TNT
    • Ocean TNT
    • Sponge TNT
    • Diamond TNT
    • House TNT
    • Bunker TNT
    • Mob TNT
    • Mob Swarm TNT
    • Atomic Mob Swarm TNT
    • Tree TNT
    • Forest TNT
    • Island TNT
    • Nostalgia TNT
    • Everything TNT
    • Is It Christmas TNT
    • Flat TNT
    • Mine TNT
    • Lightning TNT
    • Cave TNT
    • Save TNT

    There are more but I didn't list them all.

    Not the Too Much TNT author, but I'm actually working on a 1.12.2 port of my Super TNT mod which was from the same era as this mod. TNT mods just aren't as good nowadays so it's time for this mod to make a comeback. It will also have a lot of new TNTs and be really good just like this mod.

    It will probably have a download link within a few weeks from now.

    posted a message on [1.7.2][Forge]Super TNT mod

    Hello everyone. I'm back. From a galaxy far, far away.

    Sorry I haven't been around to maintain the mod for the last several millennia as I have been busy with life.

    Anyway, for anyone that has ever wished for an update to this mod, your wish will soon come true! I am typing this post to sort of low-key announce that I am currently working on a 1.12.2 port of the Super TNT mod. This port has lots of new TNTs and lots of new improvements such as a lot less lag, House TNT that actually has a door, the TNT called "This is so big it will crash your computer" no longer crashes your computer and a Biome Buster TNT that actually isn't lamer than a pile of dead rocks.

    On the topic of the degree of the reduced lag, it is so far reduced that the Super TNT of Mass Destruction explodes only a little slower than the base game TNT. The biggest TNT in the last one took as much as 36GB of ram to not crash java but in this next release, I may be able to make a bigger TNT than that in less than 12 parsecs, but don't quote me on that.

    The public version may have as much as 30 more TNTs than the original, and I'm not going for quantity over quality either. Some of the new TNTs include:

    • Doom TNT: The Gold Plated Plutonic Aloy Coated Eight volume Nuclear Donkey Edition. This is what the "This is so big it will crash your computer" got renamed to
    • A TNT more powerful than that one. Although a proper name has not been decided on yet.
    • Nostalgia TNT. This one will get you right in the feels
    • Atomic Diamond TNT. Similar to the Diamond TNT but different and more dangerous.
    • Spam Mob Swarm TNT . Spawn up to 2000 mobs per explosion
    • Wave TNT. Engulfs everything in a huge tsunami

    Those are just a few of the many types of TNTs included in this upcoming mod. While the mod is in no state to be released as of yet I am posting this announcement as a service to any fans that have played and enjoyed this mod over the years. Without you guys, this mod would not be making this kind of a comeback.

    Check back at lolyoujellybro.com for more information which will be posted soon, sneak peaks and even a download link in the near future.

    Thanks again, everyone.

    -Veraster_x94

    P.S.

    @kelvin123, your problem is that you seem to be running 1.7.10. The latest stable version of this mod was designed for 1.7.2 and I have not seen or heard of anyone having any luck getting it to run on different versions than 1.7.2. You've probably figured in out by now but I had to say something. Happy Minecrafting!

    posted a message on Too Much TNT mod (50+ TNTs)

    I'm the author of the Super TNT mod for Minecraft 1.7.2.

    In my mod, it sucks because whenever my TNT explodes, it takes about 2 minutes to "explode". It's like the rest of the game just keeps going while the game "processes" what its supposed to be doing. It eventually works and renders the crater but in your mod there isn't this 2 minute delay.

    I was never able to solve this problem after months of researching and trying various different things. I eventually gave up.

    In your mod, it doesn't have this problem. The game "pauses" for a split second and then instantly shows the hole rendered from the tnt explosion.

    Could you help me out and explain what code you used to do that? I would be forever grateful.

    Also can I test it

    Sure. I put up a link.
    Make sure that you're using arguments for more ram in the minecraft launcher and have Java 64 bit installed. The second biggest TNT will work with a minimum of 1.5GB (although you should probably put in like 3 if you have it). But the biggest one needs around 16GB. I actually had to make it less powerful because at one point it required 50GB.
    Keep in mind that if you're running this on an i3 ultrabook or someting it's going to lag substantially. Even if you have one of those extreme builds with major overclocking there is still some lag.

    posted a message on [1.7.2]Custom glass block isn't transparent when using Optifine
    Yeah it works fine with optifine uninstalled. Here's what it looks like without optifine:

    Edit: I seem to have fixed my own problem.

    I changed the texture from this:

    To the following. I removed the semi-transparent shade of blue from the middle, if that makes any sense.

    I was using a modified stained glass texture, I basically made it into a "regular glass" texture with no alpha channel. Problem solved.

    posted a message on [1.7.2]Custom glass block isn't transparent when using Optifine
    I'm having a problem with a custom glass block in my mod. When not using my mod with optifine installed, it works fine. When it's used with optifine, it isn't transparent. Here's a picture:

    I'm not really sure what there is to mess up as far as glass goes because it seems like it should be a really simple thing.
    Here my block class:
    public class BlockGlassDiamond extends BlockGlass
    {
    public BlockGlassDiamond() {
    super(Material.glass, false);
    this.setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabBlock);
    this.setHardness(6.2F);
    this.setResistance(6000.0F);
    this.setStepSound(Block.soundTypeGlass);
    }

    /**
    	 * Returns the quantity of items to drop on block destruction.
    	 */

    public int quantityDropped(Random p_149745_1_)
    {
    	 return 1;
    }

    public Item getItemDropped(int p_149650_1_, Random p_149650_2_, int p_149650_3_)
    {
    return Item.getItemFromBlock(SuperTNT.BlockGlassDiamond);
    }

    @SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
    public void registerBlockIcons(IIconRegister p_149651_1_)
    {
    	 this.blockIcon = p_149651_1_.registerIcon("SuperTNT:diamondglass");
    }

    }

    I basically extended the already simple BlockGlass class and just overrode what needed to be changed. Is there anything additional I can do to make my glass block look transparent when used with optifine?
