Sep 8, 2012Hey, I was wondering if there's a list of the Minecraft debug shortcuts?Posted in: Discussion
As of now I only know three, the F3, Shift+F3 and F3+H. But there are probably more I don't know of, so if you know more, I'd love if you posted them here.
Thanks in advance.

I have had this happen a few times, I usually reboot, or reallocate more java, you can try it but its an assumption > bat file
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar "minecraft.exe"
1024 is the java amount so i would put about 512
java -Xmx512M -Xms512M -jar "minecraft.exe"
after doing some research its a common thing,
any mods installed at all?
And he has 256 MB of RAM left
"1024 is the Java amount"
Are you referring to Java as in coffee, and in liters? I don't think that's healthy.
It's called the allocated RAM, learn your stuff.
Apr 29, 2012Hi, Minecraft Forums!Posted in: Legacy Support
I've been having some problems lately, with the chat. I'll try to explain it...
Some times when I use the chat, after I send a message or command, I end up in some kind of command mode as I'd like to call it; after I press enter I am still in the chat/text mode, but with a forwrd slash automatically placed there, and after some random spamming of commands and text I return to normal, I can wlk around 'n' stuff again.
Running Kubuntu 12.04, with Java 7.

I prefer Android.
Android is better for developers:
1. You don't need to have a Mac to develop (like for iOS)
2. You don't need to pay $100 anually to publish your apps.
3. Your apps will be accepted in the store.
4. Java > Obj. C
In terms of functionality, Android wins there too:
Un-jailbroken/-rooted, Android is the most powerful, allowing for more functions than an un-jailbroken iDevice. Comparing a rooted Android phone, and a jailbroken iDevice, they're the same, however, it's easier to develop, package and publish apps for a rooted Android.
These are only my opinions, and I don't expect you to have the same, but please don't go "OMFG NO IDIOT APPLE IS BETTER!!11one" because, I don't care if you disagree with me.

You need to delete the META-INF first. Then install the mods. Try that
You quoted a post where he said he did it...
Could you just check if it runs on 1.2.3? Might be a problem with your 1.1 jar.
edit: Weird, I'm running JRE7 and I have no issues. Tried the .jar (Works on all OS')
