I don't know when they accidentally must of gotten thrown in, but there's "desktop.ini" in every folder. Not hard to get rid of, extract it to a folder and enter desktop.ini in the search bar and just delete all the results. I think Googledrive might of done it actually.

I really appreciate the work on this though. I'm using a Johnsmith pack with a few tweaks here and there. I don't know if I'd be able to enjoy FTB as much without it.
For my own pack I added Misa's weather, lightmaps, clouds and sky (although the clouds and sky don't work with FTB yet). Found that SummerFields mobs fit nicely too.
This right here is my Christmas present! Thank you, this was the very first mod I ever installed wayback when, and it's still my favorite. Happy to hear it's multiplayer compatible too; I'd really like to try getting it to work with Feed the Beast.
Actually you should recommend this and see if they'd add it to the FTB modpack. It'd be one hell of hit I'd imagine. I mean, FTB did just add the zeppelins from Traincraft, but they're sadly just not as great as the airship mod.
Minetographer0.7.7 still works with 1.4.5. You just need to grab the new Tectonicus (v2.15) here: http://code.google.com/p/tectonicus/downloads/list and use it to replace the Tectonicus.jar located in the lib folder.
"Minecraft 1.2 will introduce a new world format. Anvil"
Maximum build height has been increased to 256 (was 128).
Empty sections of the world are not loaded into memory.
Block ids have been increased to 4096 (was 256) by adding a 4 bit data layer (similar to how meta data is stored).
Block ordering has been changed from x/z/y to y/z/x in order to improve compression.
Packets for sending chunks have been updated (a full 128-high chunk is smaller than the old format, and a chunk with lots of empty space is much smaller).
Biomes are saved per x/z column, which means they can be altered by tools.
I imagine Cartograph G will need to be updated to use with 1.2's new world format. Then again, I've been getting that same Runtime Error everyone has been mentioning since last November or so, although it only happens on my 1.65 GB world when Isometric is selected ("Normal" works fine though).
ETA: When I press on 'test minecraft' in mcpatcher it loads minecraft good in offline version, with the correct HD textures, but when I try it online from minecraft.net I get white screen when loading.
You can try re-downloading the minecraft launcher. Running Java 7 and all that? (7u4 Build b13 is latest atm)
I'm honestly stumped. I'd ask over in the MCPatcher thread if you haven't already as it'd be the patcher causing it before it'd be the texture pack doing any harm.
As far as I know the only new things that'd need updating are the new creative mode icons for AI spawns such as villager, chicken, etc. Next minecraft update should include the new cat mob and other Jungle biome related textures so maybe by then there will be an update.
That said, he still puts more effort into his texture pack than what I've seen from most, with most people getting bored of updating their pack after only a few months. And I'm glad, as I'm pretty dependent on his pack. I was even recently tempted by SummerFields, but just couldn't keep using it.
To anyone who uses my texture pack, I appologize for being gone for such a long time. I was very busy over the past two months and had to take a break from minecraft for a while. I should be able to continue updating from now on. Thank you all for your patience.
very nice but the 1.8.1 version is relly dark with the sparkles
its smog from the city

Yeah, I don't really see the logic in Notch adding "black fog" for bedrock level depths, which is what the city is built at (Dig down two blocks and you'll hit bedrock). I don't see anyway around it as the buildings wouldn't be as tall if built at sea level. Notch, yet again, really didn't think. Maybe he'll fix it though.
What if I edit the alternate glowstone texture so it tiles a bit better? Could we use that?
Glowstone 4
I'm liking that. It dose look a bit off in the Nether though. Since I'm also getting a "chinese lantern" type of feeling for that, why not a chinese lantern look?
Also, I hate to ask this when you're already so busy with update after update, but could you possibly change the signs a bit or add an alternate texture for them? At the moment they look kinda off when used to make make shift chairs. The coloring is off and they seem a bit too... grainy?
Same. I mentioned it back a bunch of pages. I'd really like to see new Sign and Ice textures.
but why would anti-aliasing be making X's over saplings and torches and a border around the sand..?
i'll continue trying to figure out how to change anti-aliasing settings anyway
Oblivion was ported, and I'd be damed before I'd play that with a controller. Not to mention, Oblivion's mods. People who played that on a console obviously didn't know what they were missing, but that'd also be why they played it, because they didn't know what they were missing.

Google "7zip" and go to Downloads.
Try one of the ones for Mac OS X. Not only will you now be able to open all kinds compressed files, you can open .jar.

Getting the same error with a Mindcrack.jar FTB server.

Iron Golems added in 12w08a, looks like they'll be needing a texture as well.

I always thought of it as a cluster of light bulbs. In the Nether I pictured it was the same type stuff found in Norfair (Metroid reference).
