The reverse blade master sword. :P

Extremely fast attack speed and high damage, but enemies don't drop anything because you only knock them out.

    For the keymaster? Rick Moranis.

Seriously though, why not go the Zelda 2 route for that? Give him a unique written book for 1 emerald that just says 'I AM ERROR' and he has keys to dungeons you've already beaten. :D

    1. Even Zelda doesn't do this. Keys are keys unless they're Big Keys, and there's even multiple versions of that. If you're doing a map, clever usage of existing keys could resolve this.

    2. Kinda pointless, ain't it? I mean, there's other mods that adds multi-block doors. Why reinvent the wheel?

    3. Totally confused here. This already exists in game, but I take it you mean for some sort of map-maker feature? That actually seems interesting.

    4. Already happens in-game. For a map-maker, If you distribute items effectively, you've already got light and heavy blocks and a number of other things that have to be triggered to get past them. Have the doors be made of bombable stone and I think you can use the minecraft programmable blocks to give the user a bomb after killing all the mobs in an area.
    5. That's absurdly complicated for any mod to do.

    6. Emeralds. Use a texture pack.

    7. Again, complicated.

    8. Functionally impossible for minecraft without enormous data storage. Time of day is easy, but actually resetting the map could only be done by deleting and regenerating the chunk; giving any user the ability to do that will be the ultimate griefing.

AND JUST TO BE CONTRARY, I ask for an option to start the game with Mailman Link's clothes. :P

I think a half dozen people or so have started one but nobody's ever actually finished one.

Man, Sword Skills target locking will go fantastic with the new attacking mechanics. The rest will be great too, but man I got used to that autotarget. XD

It would be interesting if there were items that increased stability or speed or essentia use at the cost of one or two of the others. Generally people coat the floor in candles or skulls. Some more pleasant alternatives would be nice.

Well, he answered the question already. I'm dying for an update too but he's waiting for a stable release of Forge for 1.9.4. And you asked for an update quoting the response where he said just that he was waiting for the stable release. Don't badger him, it's rude and against forum rules.

    Lets close the matter.

Hey Brad, any new features on the horizon? I mean, the mod's pretty feature complete, but just curious.

Requesting updates is against forum rules. That said, when Forge 1.9.4 finally puts out a recommended stable update, we're probably going to see an update.

And I'm saying in the 1.9.4 the fire wasn't going out, even without a block beneath it. It's weird. Happened with belph fire, and there's a lot of it, had to smother it.

This might sound stupid... but I can't punch out fire in 1.9.4 1.14.3.1, and it makes mobs a LOT more difficult to fight, especially with flames that don't go out.

Because mobs spawn in the dark; Darkness spawns mean they spawn because you're in the dark. You'll get warnings to get back into the light before something bad happens, then a grue or Shade will spawn nearby.

Basically, it makes running around a night something from a horror game as opposed to mildly inconvenient.

Death, Undeath, and Darkness are the only other triggerable ones. Death and undeath trigger mobs to appear every so often when you kill either living of undead mobs. Darkness is off by default and it causes enemies to spawn if you're in the dark.

The rest are spawning conditions. Ooze spawns only trigger when there's enough ooze around and it spawns a couple arctic mobs.

Basically the intention is that you need to be a bit more on-your-toes with these, but they're also much more interesting. A giant pool of lava in vanilla is empty... but with Lycanites, it might have fish or some lava monsters in it. Much more fun!

Crop is a chance for a mob to spawn when you harvest crop, Rock is the geonach you saw, tree is when chopping down trees. Sleep is when you attempt to use a bed.

The rest of them are that mobs can spawn from other sources, like puddles of ooze, lava, or large fires. Frankly, turning off geonachs isn't worth it; they're free gold and quartz and take extra damage from pickaxes.

Fire has been fixed in 1.14.2.0, but silex don't seem to move at all now. A maka that fell in water slowed almost to a complete halt when trying to chase me while carrying food, but that might be intended? The Alphas seem to get dragged into the water and stuck there, though.
