I'm just waiting until they start to add dlc for items that you need.
Oh. We added a new ore, but it's dlc exclusive!

Minecraft should have nothing in it besides blocks and Steve + Alex! -

I did not know about them selling texture packs for use on the system. It just seems like a silly sales tactic IMHO. -

Have You Ever Been Banned? Never
Are You Familiar With Modded Minecraft? Yes
Why Should You Be A Part Of This Server? I've been looking for a server that is modded, but not too heavily modded that wont let me play with my computer, as well as getting bored of playing solo in minecraft.
Will You Be Recording Or Livestreaming On This Server? I don't do streams
In Your Own Words, Define Trust: Trust is having the ability to give some one else full control over something, and believing that they will not destroy or ruin it. Letting some one do as they want or please, not having to worry about their actions, or what they will do at any time.

As many times as you want.

Break a block, move forward, repeat. Only to get rubber banded back by two blocks, and suffocate due to gravel that fell right before the lag spike.

Well, I propose a change to mobs, all of them.
Skeletons: Will run away from you when you get close enough, turn, and shoot. Repeat.
Zombies: Hide behind walls, trees, and other blocks when you get close enough, they attack you.
Ghasts: No change, they are just annoying.
Creepers: Make them not just explode, but attempt to ram you by charging at you if you look at them directly.
Endermen: Allow them to teleport through three block thick walls.
Zombie Pigmen: Make some of them aggressive all the time, but have them a different texture than the regular ones that aren't.
Blaze: Allow them to spawn in the over world near lava that's open to the sky.
Silver Fish: They can spawn from just hitting the block. Can spawn in more than just the area's where the end portals spawns. (Forgot the name of them.)

Try to sleep every three days or so to stop it from raining every 5 minutes.
There is a rain timer that resets when you sleep. It's completely random, and it can rain right as you wake up, or it can stop.
If this becomes bothersome, create a red stone clock hooked up to a command block (In creative), and set it to do "/weather clear 1000".
But just try to remember, sleeping resets the timer.

I'm pretty sure I'm not connected to online. I've made sure that I'm not connected to any servers, or have any settings set up for server play

I've died so many times thinking either the back button, home button, or screen lock will pause it but no.

I don't play the PE version all that much, I just found it annoying really.

I can place it on dirt, but not wooden planks.
I tried closing Minecraft, and reopening it, didn't work.

Quoted for the truth here.
I've seen some F2P games with just cosmetics in their Item shop that makes the game money, and they have been around for quite some time, and still are up and running.
A lot of people love cosmetics, and will pay $2-3 a pop for a couple day cosmetic item, that will vanish after a month or so.
However, I have seen quite a few servers that find a way around the EULA, and actually make "donations", so that people will gain certain perks (Such as mod teleports, mod items, that sort of thing.), that aren't in vanilla minecraft.

You can always remap the keys with a program.
I would look up online for a way to re-enable function keys.

If you want a challenge, try out that mod, it will make it quite harder for you to even survive. It's not about hack and slash, or making the mobs harder, it's about making it harder to just survive at all.

In an abandoned mineshaft all nice and quiet, just minding my own business, then suddenly, a zombie drops down in front of me, and attacks.
I've had pigmen do this to me in the nether too. Its quite worse when its 4 in the morning, and its eerily quiet in my room at the time too.
Although, the worst one I possibly had was about two years back, I was playing around with a new texture pack. I can't remember the name of it sadly though. I think I even have a picture somewhere on these forums. So, as I was saying, I was just walking around, minding my own business as usual, looking for wood. I happened to turn the camera quickly, and what do I see? A scary looking face on one of the tree trunks. Not expecting it, I jumped back almost out of my chair.

It could be a minor lag problem. Try making a throwaway world and mess around a little bit to see if it does the same thing.
I some times have it happen to me, and it's usually just my computer not keeping up with how fast I'm digging when doing strip mining.
