VyonCraft is a Mature Vanilla Minecraft Server. We are a friendly community of Minecrafters who want to enjoy the vanilla game in its entirety. The staff, who are Varboa, Jon_pickle, Trojanman35 and Lyon400, are super friendly and are willing to help in all of your problems that you might experience on the server(within reason). Although this server is not meant to be used for anything else besides basic vanilla survival, other ways of playing are encouraged, this including: role playing, pranking etc. as long as every participating member agrees, and it does not cause a disruption to the server over all. This will be included as an official rules as well.
Rules:
1. Must be active on the server(no absence longer than 2 weeks without mention to an admin)
2. No spamming or advertising other servers.
3. Pvp is allowed, albeit in controlled an respective manner, greifing of this type will not be tolerated
4. No griefing (breaking others creations, stealing)
5. Be respectful of other players(ie. building too close to people without permission, disrespecting people via chat, symbols built)
6. You are allowed to curse, but not for malicious intention.
7. No mods, cheats, hacks will be allowed.
8. No abandon buildings(unless left for a purpose), 1x1 towers(left for a long period of time) Make the server look nice.
9. At spawn don't build very obstructive buildings. Pick a modest plot size and build within it.(Underground digging is allowed as long as it is not used for griefing)
10. You must be able to play fairly frequently (more than once a week for at least a few hours)

Go to your local bookstore, buy a dictionary (or just skim, dealers choice) look up the word "awesome" or "heroic" or "damnsexygreekgodlordhavemercythismanshouldfathermychildren" and you will see the second definition for each of those being my IGN, Varboa. But sadly, after the update passed, my activity started to decline, idk man, if you've got some crazy ass requirement about recording every other day, then I might look into it, but if i'm not getting many views then the fire under my ass to put out new vids kinda dwendles into a nice dule simmer. Other Notes: I like this server so far, my buddy a couple of posts up there (Lyon400) and I would like to chill on the same server I think it would be chill to hang out with doz for awhile, and iI think i've seen one of your vids, not sure if it was yours though? XD lol it was some ladder path finding malfunction in creepers if I remember correctly, idk man, we all made those sorts of videos before XD now i'm going to be one of those obnoxious pricks and assume your gunna accept me. Strengths:
Redstone...Building...Caving...I'm pretty much your all around minecrafter, lol when youv'e been playing this long, you eventually try out everything.
Weakness:
I'm bad at surviving the first night by myself. I normally rely on vast farms to take care of me, and when I start out thats not exactly avaliable, but oh well, part of the game. XD

A short summary about you as a person:
Generally cheery and easy going, I like to interact with the community a bit and set up things for the community, although I can think of sometimes where this was unwanted, so i'll try to keep this to a minimum if people are touchy about public areas I understand. In general my method, is to set up a small town house and then move out and set up a main base some where else. Branch out and start interacting with other people, maybe go on a quest to get a mooshroom? that sort of manner
The problem with Laptops and the new launcher is that some laptops have two graphic cards. One is a dedicated (usually with it's own memory) actual graphics card capable of gaming. The other is an Intel chip that runs on very low power. So that your laptops battery when used is not killed by the GPU wile doing word processing...
...I think what people have to do that have this problem with their laptops is lock the GPU to the non Intel chip set and call it a day. I finally had to resort to that myself.
This is not necessaryly true. My laptop ran 1.5.2 fine, and then once 1.6 came my fps dropped to unplayable, but here is the kicker: I only have one graphics card. I still haven't been able to isolate the problem but it seems that my graphics card has two modes maybe. Either way, I cant switch and solve like everyone else, and I am still experienceing unplayable minecraft.
I would be loading alot of chunks in 1.5.2 and get a fine fps rate, but now in the latest snapshots, the same amount of chunks are loaded and I get average of 10 fps...Whats going on, my computer is leading edge
Whats with all of these people undermining the issue, ive also experienced this very frustraiting frame rate drop. What we need is to find a reason for this. I'm not going to pretend to have a thourough understanding of minecraft code, but the old client worked just fine, and now with this new client my framerate is terrible. So using basic deduction, it seems that the problem lies with the new client.
We had been experiencing some technical difficulties and as a result we have lost our previous map, this is a heavy blow to our server members across the board and Lyon400 and I are truly sorry for the inconvenience, we hope this situation wont happen again, and take comfort in the fact that we have taken precautions to prevent this from happening again. Also, we are running the latest snapshot now. If you are having trouble with the version then go to profile editor in the new launcher. Right click and make a new one with the version for our server. The new Ip is on the original forum post so click the first page button for this post near the bottom or top of the page.
