Well are you looking for any specific kind of enchantment or what? The random nature of the system means there isn't much to do really, you may as well spend it now :tongue.gif: The stuff you enchant eventually breaks anyway so in the long run it's probably better not to care too much about what you get.
Can't you repair the item with another and thus keep the buff???
Yeah that gets kind'a annoying when trees don't drop saplings hah :sad.gif:
What we can do is retry a couple of times till the tree drops a few saplings in the begining. Save that world and if a restart is needed use the sapling save.
IMHO, this should not be considered cheating, or?
RPG elements (potions in this case) can only enrich the game, IMHO. I don't understand why people are fainting/popping veins over that - it's just a game.
Anyway, as stated above, you can just ignore the potions or just stay with version 1.8/1.9. :smile.gif:

That's not so uncommon when you go underground.
Just be sure not to be around lava when digging ores and sleep in a bed near your mine before you descend. :smile.gif:
