Nope, don't recognize it. Your png is 32x32, if that helps?

I'm pretty sure I took it from a higher-res pack and reduced it back when I was mostly playing with 32x32 packs. Now I'm playing with higher-res packs and would like to try finding the original.

I think maybe it was from a higher-res pack maybe 128x128?

    Anyone recognize it?

I'm thinking of changing the base tree (leaves too small) and stone again.

Far be it from me to argue against you trying a new look for any of your textures, but I do really like your current base tree leaves. They are a nice balance between a suggestive shape and something that tries to clearly draw each individual leaf. And the density is just about right too, giving the trees a full head of leaves but leaving space to peek through from a treehouse.

Given how great your pine needles also are, I wouldn't mind seeing you try another idea for leaves, but make sure you leave the current ones in your pack as an option.

I love this pack. The scratchy, hand-drawn look is really appealing. It particularly looks great on the dirt and the grass. And the tree trunks. And your leaves, both the deciduous ones and the pine needles are some of the best I've seen in any pack.

Also, those chests and the workbench are gorgeous. The furnace looks great, and the bookcase looks really great too; the books have just a little more character and depth than you usually see.

I agree that the "smooth" stone is very dark and busy, and I'd love to see you do a version of smooth stone that looks a little more like your stone slab half-block. I like the sandstone, and prefer sandstone that's similar in color to regular sand.

I like what you've done with the iron ore, especially the lighter, higher-contrast version. It might look better if the chunks of iron were a little bit thicker. The gold would look better with a bit more orange/brown in it and if it were kind of smeared into the rock like the redstone or the lapis lazuli instead of in chunks. It's surprisingly hard to capture the colors of gold metal. I like the diamond chunks.

I'd also love to see you (or somebody) do a more crystaline-looking glowstone.

And any chance you'd do a light-colored wood like your "infinite" one except with staggered segments of planks? (sort of like long bricks, where two planks join at the midpoint of the plank above and below them, maybe with visible nails, maybe not)

I'm really looking forward to seeing your mobs and items. Also, good call including JohnSmith's lava and water -- his and cferrill's are my favorite animated water/lava textures. Thanks so much for making and sharing this with us!

I have this chest texture kicking around in my Minecraft stuff but I can't remember which texture pack it came from. Anyone recognize it?

I can't really tell if this is a glitch or not:
The animation for moving water looks like that and goes SUPER fast.

I get this too, its really weird and annoying

Texture packs have to compromise. Either horizontal water moves to fast or vertical waterfalls move too slow. Misa's pack errs on the side of making the vertically falling water look good. At least it's possible for horizontal water to move that fast. In most texture packs, the vertical waterfalls look like they're made of syrup or something.

    Misa,

Would you consider doing an alternate texture for the Nether that makes Netherrack look sort of like charcoal or some other substance that would look good burning in our fireplaces?

Gotta say that the creeper blanket on the bed, while totally unsurprising coming from Misa, still cracked me up.

Now I want a creeper blanket for my bed in real life. Mojang store?

    update man!
    its worth it!
just use wood instead of netherrack!
its alright! i use wood and it burns like AWESOMENESS!

But if I let it burn out, then next time I come back to my cozy living room, a creeper will have spawned in the darkness.

Needing to have redundant torch lighting in addition to the fireplace defeats the whole purpose of having a fireplace.

I can't bear to update to 1.3 because I don't want to lose all my beautiful wood-burning fireplaces.

A fireplace burning a chunk of hell-rock just isn't the same. I'm almost tempted to change my texture pack so that the Nether looks like it's made of logs.

Love the new iron door and the cake.

As for mobs, this pack is just crying out for a clay Creeper. But take your time and get it right. If you'd rather work on the items.png first, then go with whatever you feel most inspired to do. I love the animals so far, especially the sheep.

misa! your a texture pack is simpley wonderful! i read you thread and i would like to know where i could download the 32x32 texture pack... the 64x64 only works when i hold F3 and when i let go the fps drop to arround 6 where as when hold f3 it can be in the 50's on tiny render distance and fast graphics. the bottem line can you please tell me where to find (or just link) where i can download you 32x32 texture pack :smile.gif: i have downloaded the 64x64 texture pack and set it to 32x32 and minecraft crashes, i don't know if that is what your ment to do, but could you please explain it to me =) please reply to this a quick a possible =)! thank you so much and keep up the great work [Trickool]

Trickool, I think the only 32x32 version of her textures that Misa has released is the 32x32 version of her popular mob textures (textures for the animals and monsters). Which is kinda silly, since you can mix 64x64 mob textures in with any other size texture pack, even a 16x16 pack without patching the game at all.

posted a message on High Res Textures that work without patching
I note that you can substitute higher-res textures (at least 32x32 sized, sometimes more) for some things in the game without needing to use a patch to make them work right. These include:

Mobs (64x64 sized works, maybe higher?)
Armor (64x64 sized works, maybe higher?)
    Art (kz.png)
GUI (gui.png 32x32 sized is the max that works here, I think)

The main texture.png and the items.png have problems if you don't use a patcher, of course. But if you mostly want to stick with 16x16 textures and yet would like to have higher-res paintings or armor or if you just can't resist using Misa's amazing ghast skin, you can just substitute those individual textures into your favorite texture pack and keep everything else at 16x16 and not worry about having to patch the game.

Has anyone else noticed any others besides the ones I've listed that work without patching?
