This is really great. Especially like your gravel, cobblestone, workbench, the really rough and stony looking furnace and piston, very nice detailing on both your doors. Bark and logs are very nice. I like the heart and armor icons.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I was hoping you might try stone and wood clubs instead of swords, but I have to admit these look really great, as do all your tools. Thanks again for continuing to work on this pack.

Did you know that same pattern for different stuff makes your eyes exhausted?
That pack is only "to see the world once", some people think it's cool :Pig:
NO ONE will play with it seriously! Do you know any good game where all the textures have the same pattern?? It's stupid.

Speak for yourself. You just look ignorant when you assume what you like is the same as what everyone likes.

I really like this pack. A lot.

The train tracks and grass and crops push it a little too far, I think, and the pumpkin is a nightmare -- it looks like something Charlie Brown would carve after he finished trying to make a ghost costume for Halloween :tongue.gif: Most of the others stuff looks great. The leaves and flowers work surprisingly well and I like the pattern on the chests. I think the wood might work better if it was more like the chests with regular planks and making the cobble pattern look more like the wood grain.

Are you going to update this? You've got pistons, but your bed and cake are mis-aligned.

Overall, you've done a very nice job realizing this theme. Thanks for making and sharing it!

I have this texture file among my Minecraft stuff and have lost track of where I got it. Anyone recognize the texture pack that this is from? From the file name it maybe had "NAV" as part of the name?

I don't care (much) about realism. I just think reddish clay adds some nice color to the world (and makes a nice building material as an alternative to dirt or bricks or whatever).

Lot of good stuff in this pack, but I had to drop in to say that the heat shimmer on your lava looks amazing. Makes me want to crank up the fan on my video card. :laugh.gif:

I love your tools so far. So many HD tools look great in the inventory screen but not so good when held in your hand, but yours look great both ways. That arrow is really nice too. I'm really looking forward to seeing you do more of the items.

I hope you'll consider getting a little more creative with the wood and stone tools instead of just re-coloring the other ones. I love texture packs that give you clubs for your wood and stone weapons and that make the wood and stone tools look like crude make-shift tools.

The new cobblestone is excellent. Looks great close-up and far away. There are a couple vertical lines that line up with each other and stand out looking a little bit artificial, but as a whole the texture is much better than most at avoiding those artificial patterns when seen from a distance.

I really like the new torch, too. The fancy cup fits in very well with the detailing on your wooden doors and chests. I wonder if you'd want to add some detailing to the frame of your bed as well?

I have to say the new bricks are very well drawn but I like the old ones much better. Might you want to make a version of your clay that is red to match your bricks?

As always, thank you for all your work on this pack and for sharing it with us. Your artwork is great and adds a lot to my enjoyment of Minecraft.

Some really nice textures in this pack. I particularly like your ores, they look very shiny and valuable. They say, "Look! You found treasure!" much more than most ore textures. The smooth stone looks good to. I also like the wood door with the nice big window and the decorative corners on your windows.

I like your white wool. Might you want to re-color it and use that texture with your colored wool as well?

The cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, netherack, and gravel are all very nice looking textures, but on each of them the tiling doesn't quite match up right. With such realistic-looking textures, the seams look particularly out of place. If you're interested in revising the pack, I'd suggest working on getting those to match up better.

I like those minecart rail textures quite a bit. They'd look even better if you cleaned up the bit where the curved track joins the straight one.

Thanks for your work on this texture pack and for sharing it with us.

Doing sewage for lava is pretty clever. I guess it must be radioactive, since it glows!

That sand looks pretty good too.

Oh, no. I just meant the mix-n-matching I do for my own personal use. I wouldn't dream of releasing a pack using someone else's art without their permission.

Might you be interested in the plain-jane Renaissance alternate textures I mentioned at the beginning of the post? If I get enough people who want it, I'll do a set of textures and paintings (and probably weapons/armor too) that don't have to do with assassin's creed.

Yes. Although as I said, pretty much everything in your screenshots already works fine as generic Renaissance (including that Assassin's Guild banner, which could just be some Italian heraldry if I didn't recognize it from the game) except for the Nether blocks and maybe the Crusader chests.

This is really beautiful work. I'm not really interested in the theme and I prefer higher-res packs but this artwork is so well done I can't resist swapping this pack in and looking around.

That smooth stone is gorgeous. And you did a really nice job of making the ores look embedded in the stone; the diamond looks especially cool. Your cobblestone looks great too, although that one large round stone sticks out a bit much, especially on steps. The stone half-step has a really nice trim on it and makes beautiful checkerboard patterns with the full smooth stone block.

That dirt texture works better than it ought to. It looks like it would produce unnatural-looking stripes of thicker/thinner dirt clumps, and it has a little bit of that, but I guess the contrast in the colors is low enough that it doesn't stand out as much as you'd expect. The clay looks cool, but pretty unnatural in a large deposit. Probably works better as a building material.

I love the way you turned cacti into shrubs and canes into grape vine trellises. Just look at those shrubs. And that bed looks so luxurious. And I'm gonna have to steal that iron gate and use it in some of my other packs. Your wooden door looks good, but I would want one with a window. Should it match the wood block more? Not sure. I'm not really a fan of wood blocks with that kind of edging, but you make it look really good, and it definitely fits with the rest of the pack. I like your candle/torches too.

It cracks me up that you did those climbing-wall bumps for the ladder (and I notice you included a really nice looking regular ladder as an alternate). That evokes Assassin's Creed more than anything else in the pack.

Again, this is very impressive work. Have you done any other texture packs? I'd love to see you do a more "vanilla" one. And I look forward to seeing how this one turns out. Thanks for sharing it with us.

(P.S. -- please do make some alternate non-AC-themed textures for the Nether, most everything else works fine as a generic Italian pack, except maybe some non-Crusader chests?)
