I'm looking for a very basic server with hostile mobs disabled. I'd prefer if the server did not have any economy plugins or other plugins that attempt to turn minecraft into some form of rpg.
Currently just a terrain.png edit, though there are a few other things added in such as grass/foliage color for biomes and a pumpkin blur that fits the pack's pumpkins.
This texture pack is meant to be 'clean', pixel-wise. there is no auto-AA or noise, most blocks have only 4 around different colors on them.

Character background: Upon birth, Shirata was stolen from his cradle by a lunatic and raised as his apprentice. Despite the guy's shortcomings in sanity, he was a brilliant and powerful magic user. He raised Shirata harshly, but with hard lessons came good results, and Shirata soon became very powerful for his age. As he turned to an adult, his 'father' disallowed him from leaving, and it wasn't until he was 24 that he was able to kill his mentor and flee. He now tries to live a normal life despite his abilities.

imagine if a sticky piston could reach down from the ceiling and pick mobs up, holding them helpless up in the air for a few seconds while a dispenser fills them with arrows.

No hostile mobs. Home/Sethome plugins, Weather control, lockette.
Meant for peaceful-ish building uninterrupted by creepers or pvp. If you ask for materials I'll probably give them to you.

and exploring the nether would be necessary for finding ores... how? pretty much all 'exploration' could be done underground.

provide an example of minecraft having unrealistic physics? I mean i realize that minecraft has unrealistic biology, but physics?

Many times, it does not solve the issue as all maps use the same image. Everyone on the server experiences this problem.
Please learn to type in understandable english or do not bother replying.
