This is an absolutely spectacular suggestion. Your previous thread got locked? I honestly can't believe a post that is so well thought out, so carefully placed in the correct section, and so brilliantly constructed would ever be locked. For shame, moderators. For shame.

Online-mode isn't supposed to be on false unless you plan on letting people with hacked clients or fake usernames join.

Atmosphir is pretty cool, but I usually get bored of it before I actually make anything decent.

edit: a lot(and I mean A LOT) of newer content SEVERELY clashes with older content, and feels extremely out of place. The community is a little young.

Minecraft is not at all comparable to TES.

Some would say this is like comparing apples to oranges, but nay, this is like comparing apples to non-euclidean space raptors. There are so few similarities that making such a comparison is ridiculous.

Skryim/Oblivion are far more fun for shorter lengths of time, but minecraft could have more potential play time depending on the creativity of the user.

Just because a virus becomes active does not mean it was obtained on the computer within a few minutes of its activation.

Mods/add-ons may possibly contain viruses, but they most likely won't. I'd reccomend you only get mods/add-ons from these forums or reasonably trusted sites.

The minecraft.net website has no malware.

i actually just read about this in my biology book the second law of thermodynamics states that entropy cannot decrease, it can only increase.

yes, in a closed system. entropy can decrease in an open system. but none of the laws of thermodynamics apply to minecraft in any way.

Does anyone here know the second law of thermodynamics? It's easier to destroy than create

nononononono this is not the second rule of thermodynamics.

the second law of thermodynamics says that in a closed system entropy increases over time, in other words, everything reaches a state where it no longer changes.

the only thing similar to what you said would be the first law of thermodynamics, which states that nothing can be created or destroyed. neither of these rules apply to minecraft or griefing.

not to discredit your actual point, but this just bothered me quite a bit.

posted a message on You shouldn't be able to BEAT Minecraft
Having an 'end' to this game isn't really fitting at all, I agree, but minecraft's end is hardly intrusive. You have to go out of your way to kill the dragon, and you don't really get anything for it (apart from insane amounts of xp). It's not mandatory, and isn't really defined as the actual goal of the game. It's just another thing to do. I'd support removing the credits screen that comes up after killing the dragon, but everything else should stay.

    Quote from senor quesadilla

so lately ive been notcicing lots of kids in my 3d animation are playing mc instead of doing work on maya. I think mc is a great game and ive been playing since alpha, but im sick of 1.8 noobs who just recently bought the game and think they know everything about it and only play on creative mode! If anyone here agrees then voice your opinion about them! tell me what you think!

and only play on creative mode!

just saying, but uh, you do realize that when minecraft was just released to the public, there was only creative mode? many long-time players of mc have been waiting for a creative version of minecraft alpha/beta for a long time.

furthermore, as bad as it is that your students are playing games instead of doing classwork, i've never seen anyone proclaim their 'vast knowledge' of minecraft, regardless of when they've joined the game.

As pointless of a lawsuit as this is, petitions do not affect lawsuits. They never have, never will, and frankly have no reason to.
