Ball, may I ask what's going on with the server? There's some evident issues popping up, such as:
-Pressure plates DO NOT work
-Buttons DO NOT work
-Tree leaves WILL NOT decay
-Torches DO NOT fall off the block they're on if the block is destroyed
-Gravity DOES NOT work when it comes to sand and gravel
-Mobs DO NOT spawn, whether they are good or bad.
Question 1: What difficulty is the server set on? AKA Peaceful, easy, normal, hard, or custom?
Question 2: Why is the spawn rate for night/hostile mobs so damn high? On a regular game, no matter the difficulty, mobs don't spawn in the numbers or strength of the hostiles on your server. How the hell is the spawn rate so damn high?

Server I believe could at least use a scheduled restart. That seems like it would take care of a lot of the lag problem, since it seems to be fine for a while, but then get progressively worse. Kept kicking people for a while earlier today, and now it's just solid "can't reach server." Shows on the server list as offline so I think it just crashed.
...I just noticed if it would GET ONLINE I could try /stoplag ... but I am thinking that a scheduled backup and restart would be a damned good idea anyways. Maybe also logblock or a similar grief logging plugin, since we seem to keep getting kids with the bright idea of going above someone's protected region to dump lava and water. Helped clean up a lot around spawn, but itdoesn't do much good if it keeps happening and something like that would make it easier to rollback all of the damage and ban whoever's responsible.
I have an idea - I think I can configure the protection blocks to protect from bedrock to max-height so people can't go above it.
When he gets on, I would request the position change. You already are on more than anyone else since Llama found a new server to mess around on. You do more than Valg does. I would say you're the most qualified.

Seems like the server is still down, but last time I talked to Ball he'd ordered a wifi card, it should arrive this week. Then instead of everyone complaining at him about the lag, I think just one of us (Valgaror or I, or maybe even both) should talk to him about the problems that arose during his absence and try to get the lag addressed as top priority. The server is dead in part due to lag, because newcomers don't feel like dealing with it. He's gotta see that!
Wifi card is expected to arrive Friday according to Amazon but I have hopes for Wednesday or Thursday.
I am strongly for changing the name of the server and starting anew.

..alright holy **** this is getting kind of insane.. Lag again was so bad yesterday that I'd be moving and lag would ****ing teleport me backwards - and although I had a home set, now again the /home command takes me to spawn. WTF is going on with this server?

Let me list the conflicting things with your complaints.
1) I told Valg I would give him worldedit under my supervision. Apparently he took that as a "No you can't have worldedit".
2) When did anyone tell you you wouldn't be compensated for your lost work? I was intending to give each donator 200k, in the same currency standards as the old money, but I have yet to see anyone log on, because no one even gives the server a chance.
3) The lag must have been just at that time, because me and ~8 other people have been online all day and none of us are lagging. Maybe turn your graphics settings down?
4) At Twisted, "Business"? Seriously? You think I play Minecraft as a business? I play minecraft to play minecraft, it just so happens that running a run server through a host, keeping it online 24/7, requires money. If people want to help me pay for the server then so be it. It's not a ****ing business where I'm here to profit, and if you think that then I don't care if you leave. If you spent as much time complaining as you did trying out the new server, which in my opinion is better set up than previously, maybe you'd change your mind. It "/seemed/" like I was ignoring you? Did you expect me not to be busy reinstalling an entire server to a different host? This is a process.

b)That makes no sense. It notifies you when you enter/leave a region.
I know the map was huge, but having to start all of our stuff over from scratch is seriously disheartening. I didn't donate to play on a new map and lose all the hard work Valg and I put into it.

Seriously, it is stabilized. I don't know what rollback you're talking about. Everything I see is fine and no one is complaining on the server.
