Instead of giving them all for free, the villager should sell those brewing ingredients for emerald, and for a fairly expensive price.

posted a message on Power Zombies (pinkish, pale skin) (from Minicraft, Notch's ludum dare project) which are more powerful. Found deeper undergroun
    Quote from wolfboyft

    I just did -_-

Anyway, this was originally meant to be a simple take on Zelda's colour-coded enemy rank scheme. You know, weak-red, strong-blue?

I love that, so I put it in. -_-

    EDIT:

Sorry, I was just offended at how you called it 'lazy', when it was deliberately simple.

I apologize, that was uncalled for. I just wanted to let you know it needed some more to it. :)

posted a message on Sentry Golems- Gaurdians of Strongholds
If you've ever wandered into a stronghold, you would have noticed that they are empty and quiet. Until you get into the portal room that is, where you'll meet a few silverfish that generally aren't a threat by the time you're at the level to be stronghold exploring.
Is that how a boss monster entryway should be? Such places should be difficult and act as a gateway before you fight the actual boss so that any weaklings that don't deserve it are weeded out. So here it is, the Sentry Golem.

    Sentry Golem
Normally, the Sentry Golem is in the form of two Chiselled stone bricks embedded into the walls. They don't move at all, but when a player comes within 15x15 blocks, purple eyes appear on the top block. When they are within 5x5 blocks, the golem launches itself from the wall with an explosion and runs towards the player.
Rarely, Sentry golems may be located near each other. In this case when one golem is activated, it sets off a chain reaction of other golems activating as well.
The red eyes can be seen in the darkness even when they are still in the walls, so they can be avoided.(There are several of them on the way to the portal, so you'll have no choice to fight a few)
They are located in a few areas around the stronghold, especially near doors and long passageways, but 3 of them are within the main portal room, so you'll have to be prepared for a fight before going on to the Enderdragon.

    Attributes

Health: 80HP. Being made of stone, it is weaker than the Iron Golem.

Damage: 10HP. It is offensively superior to the Iron Golem.

Speed: Between the player's sprint and walking speed. They are faster than most mobs, but not too fast to be able to escape from.

    High Knockback

Hostility: Unlike it's iron cousin, the sentry golem's is a servant of the Ender, and have a duty to protect the stronghold from any human players. Because of this, they are not activated by any hostile mobs such as zombies or creepers. If they were activated by them, sentry golems would most likely be activated already by the time the player arrives.

Drops: Sentry Golems usually drop chiselled stone bricks or redstone on death. They may also rarely drop ender pearls.

    Appearance
I have no talent in creating pictures for this kind of thing, so if anyone would like to create some pictures for this suggestion they are more than welcome.
They are simular in appearance with the Iron Golem, but the center (stomache) block is a chiseled stone brick, and the arms/legs are of stone brick. The head is also chiselled stone brick, but have two purple eyes on them.

    Why?
As I said earlier, strongholds are much too simple and easy for a gateway to a boss mob. They need something that will keep players on their toes, and get rid of those that have no right to be fighting a boss.

If there are any issues with what I've thought out, please don't hestitate with any feedback!

posted a message on Goliath (mob)
    Partial support.
Having something like this out would ruin alot of PVE. You wouldn't even need to fight any mobs, as long as something like this around, you can stay JUST within their sight of range, and any mobs closer to the Goliath would be taken care of. You'd just have to make sure you run once you're the target, but given the fact that mob ai isn't that difficult to escape from and they're slower than the player, that wouldn't be so difficult either.

    Otherwise, nice idea.

posted a message on Mobs rely on sound: Sneak past mobs!
Currently the way mobs sense players is by distance. They have this ridiculous radar that makes them immediately start following you when you enter their range even if you're in a shelter or hiding behind a tree. Instead, they should follow when you make noises. Of course, they'd notice you if you were in their line of sight.
This would add a new element of thrill to the game in which evading mobs would actually be possible by sneaking by quietly.

    Noise is affected by:

    Movement
The amount of noise you make can differ according to how you're moving. Sneaking or swimming underwater wouldn't make much noise, but sprinting, jumping, jumping in the water, breaking blocks would make noise and alert the mobs.

    Type of mob
There are certain mobs that are near deaf, and some that have very clear hearing. Zombies, for example, can have low hearing. Ocelots and bats, on the other hand, would notice your presence very easily.

    Block you are on
Blocks like snow or sand wouldn't make too much noise when walked upon. Gravel would make a lot of noise.

    Armor
So basically the higher grade armor you wear, the heavier it is and the more it would clank.
This would give leather armor some use as a material that would provide some defense but wouldn't alert mobs too easily.

    Number of mobs
If you've ever been to a dungeon or owned a cow farm you'd know that having a lot of mobs in one place makes a ton of noise. The sound of all those mobs could overlap with your sounds, making them less likely to notice.

This would add a new element of thrill to the game in which evading mobs could actually be possible!

InfoTeddy, if this idea is as pointless as you think, Mojang wont give two s about it.
This thread is in no way affecting any part of your 11 year old life negatively.
I'm under the impression that the only reason you're here is to try and show people how "logical" and "intelligent"
    you are.
