I actually have the track rendering and placement 100% done. It's just the entity physics and track following that are lacking now.

    Wait… what!? MTS *cough* - MFS is getting TRAINS!? SINCE WHEN WAS THIS HAPPENING WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME.


    Also this is the first mod I've seen that's making North American standard modern locomotives. Kudos to you for that and whoever your modeller is.

    Well, there is one electric in there, and a narrow gauge diesel is on the way, but the modern I'm referring to is maglevs and subways. Which I'm pretty sure is not happening.

    Thing is tho… I don't even know if modern will be a concept. Trains were really only known for war purposes back 70 or so years ago [WWII] IIRC. Modern trains would be nice but I'm not sure if the core-mod would have that.

    Oh my, in my absence it seems some annoyances have arrived…


    Rule 1 of the RoW thread: DON'T REQUEST THINGS. NATIEN IS STILL WORKING ON THE CORE AND RECONSTRUCTION.


    As simple and meaningless as such a rule sounds, it would get pretty irritating to the Mod Dev if you kept asking them to add things in all the time.


    Of course, it would be unrealistic to request you read the Original Post before commenting, but - please read the OP.

    Well, no that's not a very a smart idea. The scale, of the narrow gauge track is not the same as standard gauge. A curve in standard is generally larger than a narrow gauge curve. That's why narrow gauge exists. To fit where standard cannot. Therefor, if you placed a normal curve, and turn it into a narrow curve, it just wouldn't fit in placement. At all. Much more an an inconvenience than anything.

    Just a question, there's a mod I have in my world for making railways called "Rails of War". The tracks are custom made as they're of life scale but don't show up on the map… For some reason other minimaps are capable of rendering these tracks on the map, but yours doesn't… Is there any way I can make them show up or is the way the map is designed not going to allow that?


    EDIT: Actually apparently Rei's can't render it either… but Journey map and I think Zan/Voxel map can render them.

    And it's not like any of you are gonna get off your lazy butts to fix the problem, the only ones doing anything for traincraft for the past 6 months are me and nitro with occasional help from 6 other people, 4 of which dropped off the face of the earth.

    So know your place and remember who's doing the actual work here kid.


    @Naiten when did it suddenly become TC appreciation week? What? How'd this response suddenly turn into "IT'S TIME TO APPRECIATION WHAT I DO CUZ YOU ASKED ABOUT IT". Which I really didn't ask about. I didn't ask a single thing about how much time you spent trying to keep this thing afloat, so how's that come into your response? Who said anything about work? If you're going to attempt to actually beat someone in an argument who is of inferior experience, you better use proper points and not verge off subject like Trump. Don't try to take words out of my mouth that never existed. I said nothing about the work that you do here, nor do I care about how much work you do here. Like I said, it doesn't mean he wants you to fix his problem. He just notified you about it.

    If you're too lazy to report it at the proper place, or give any details on the process of how this happened so we can replicate the glitch, why would you possibly think I'd care enough to deal with your problem?

    Who said he cares? You even know who is his? He has his own train mod he wouldn't gave a damn to want that fixed, He's just showing you that this mod is messed up. That doesn't mean that he wants it fixed. That doesn't mean he wants you to deal with his problem. *mindblown*
