Only problem with beds being a respawn point is I could easily block off an area, sleep in the bed and basically be right outside the dungeon or cave im about to explore. Unless you could only make 1 bed per world or something like that. However it restoring some health and skipping time, im all for.
Though should he decide on a more "realistic" path (such as hunger, shelter deal) I'm all for the need to rest and sleep.
So this is mainly going about games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Tactics, Fire Emblem and any other game that treats death in a similar manner. Where if you die, your characters is gone forever and your stuck with a choice, either continue on with the battle or restart the whole level/map over to keep the character alive.
I have a bad habit of always restarting when a character dies, just because it seems like its to much trouble to train a fresh unit back up to the skills I had. Granted I know it defeats the purpose of the system. =/
Thinking now, any other games (mmorpg or console) that follow this formula?
Its an amazing game, just a shame the story mode is only about 30% of the game while the rest is building and restoring the towns. Whats driving me crazy now is all the commercials. Watching comedy central then commercials breaks "AC:B commercial -> commercial -> AC:B Commercial -> back to show
I swear that one line of the song is crammed into my head cus i hear it like 10 times in a half hour.
I like it to a point. Think it would be better if the other characters were out. First day Evie came out, total taco fest. Havnt played it in about a month so no clue if anyone else is released yet.
But I keep getting in groups of people lagging. I mean I can join a team, everyone have full bars, we take off, everyone drops to 1 or 2. =/
Vandal Hearts seems to be a pretty under-rated game, ive never heard anyone talk about it and no one ever heard of it that I talked to. Granted its still one of the greatest games ive ever played, just a shame the sequel was so horrible and the 3rd one is no challenge to it.
Still remember my first play through, I had the worst set up but yet somehow kept winning my battles (at severe loss of units) had like 1 healer and mage each as a monk, 2 hawk knights, 2 guardsmen, I think they are. Thing that kept getting me is if you let the intro go and just wait you would see a giant free for all fight, kinda half made me think there was a 2player vs mode....to bad theres no way to mod the game to do that lol.
I always gotta check youtube for gameplay to see if its something id be interested in. Especially if its a MMO I find, gotta know before I waste time downloading and installing
Used to be my favorite game, I know I spent at least 2 years playing it and sadly wasted more NX than Id like to admit. :sad.gif:
I ended up quitting right before they launched pirates I believe (i was in Global) best character I had was a 78 Hermit and the only reason I got that high was cause at level 50, I ended up doing the Orbis PQ glitch till 70. After that I got so fed up with Assassins I wanted to try something new, wasnt going to redo another year of work (I dont grind non-stop)
So on to Private server, x20 exp rate...perfect...to bad it got closed down recently.
I used to be a sim junkie. Remember being only 11 or so and getting it the first one, I played it non-stop and the expansions didnt help. I do agree though they need to add a lot more rather than making loads of expansions for em. I think I had em all for the Sims.
The sims 2 I only have Open for Business, Pets and College (on top of the Christmas Edition Basic) Got into it but I tend to be one of those players who doesnt want my sims to die so I end up using all the points on the Elixer. (I know I could use the cheat but meh) but I could never handle more than 2 without being overwhelmed.
Console games, I think I had em all (cept the newest one) but sadly the console games are a big disappointment to me.
I tried the Harvest Moon games, I just couldnt seem to get into them. However Rune Factory (branch of Harvest Moon) is something I enjoy quite a lot. Though only one I played was Frontier for Wii
Despite my fear of zombies, I think I will start watching it...
Its not really scary so I think you could handle it, lot of the scenes are "well you saw that coming" Mainly the guy (forgot name) who was in the tent alone after getting his tail beat.
Im loving the shows, I missed the 2nd one though and havnt been bothered to watch or catch it lol. Ready for Sunday xD
