I tried to get into it when I was in school with some friends. Just sitting eating lunch and he pulled out the books and stuff....I made a character but that was as far as I got lol. Closest thing I ever got to actually playing was the PC game Neverwinter Nights
I think Metroid would make an interesting movie, however, it seems if it were to do that, would contain a lot more talking and explaining of the creatures than actual action or so.
It just shows that people dont read the first page, nor the last to find updates. xD
On the other hand, it looks even better now and excited to try it out when its rereleased. Only issue I seem to be having with any mods is sounds. When I tried this, no gunshots. With Mo'Mobs, no animal sounds (cept boar, but that shares the pigs)

Actually feel bad for forgetting the my first favorite of all time. Such a hidden game it seems for most people and the only sequel to be heard was a fan made game....not bad though...just dont understand Japanese lol.
Cant give an honest opinion now. Just looked it up to be sure and found a Rune Factory 3 for DS (2009), while Frontier (2008) was before that (and assumed it was 3rd)
So guess best I can say is....if you plan to get the one for the Wii, i love it, but its the only one I did play and there is no actual story to it that pertained to the past ones that made me feel I needed to play to understand it. Sorry for that mix up
Will say its the first and only Harvest moon game to keep me interested (tried the gameboy, Gamecube and PSP ones) in it longer than a months in game time, guess the dungeon crawling helped lol.
Which of the Rune Factory games should I get? Is there a story I need to follow between the three, or can I just get the 2nd/3rd game and be fine?
You could more than likely get the others and be fine. We ended up picking it up for like 10 bucks at game stop (the 3rd one for Wii) and the only thing about it is if you say you know who the person is when your introduced to her. Everyone in the past games know you, if you say no, introductions all around.
But the only back story that would matter I suppose to explain the situation is told right up front.
Glad you see what I see and yes, I did mean Metal Gear Solid. I mean, its not that the newer games arnt amazing or good, but its just my taste and its an obvious thing to me that Graphics and Time =/= Best game. :biggrin.gif:
These are games that I still go to despite having a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. While I do enjoy the newer games, they do not compare with the older ones. :tongue.gif:
Dark Savior was an amazing game on Sega Saturn. Five different stories (well 4 but they broke 3 into two) Id be playing it now if I could get it working. Just would dread the minecart ride.
SNES wise, Bahamut lagoon is worth a try if you can get your hands on a translated copy of it. Dont think many people know it cus it was never released outside Japan (that im aware of) so you'd need an Emulator and so forth.
8. Star Fox 2 (unreleased SNES)
7. Congos Caper
6. Metal Gear 3
5. Conkers Bad Fur Day
4. Dead Rising
3. Casltevania Symphony of the Night
2. Starfox 64
1. Parasite Eve
This, hands down is one of my favorite mods. Granted Im not a fan of adding guns into a world ment for bows and swords, but the grappling hook is my main reason for getting it.

This looks pretty cool and I admit it would be kinda like stumbling upon an abandoned city. Actually kinda excited about this one. :biggrin.gif:
