Might i say, this was superbly executed! I lasted 10 minutes, but, in the last 2 creepers blew up nearly everything, so i got the cobble and made a shelter... Too bad a creeper got through...
My tactic was to run with butt load of pork and put torches on skele spawners, and to put all the cake on the floor to eat. I thought it was best that way, since that's what you would have done anyways.

Please do another map like this, only larger and more of trying to find a way out, That would be amazing!
