    If you are running on Mac OS X 10.5.8 the new update is not working mojang recommends buy the upgrade to snow leopard 10.6

    If you have a mac 10.5.8 there is a problem when you launch minecraft it says Client> Invalid memory access of location 0x0 rip=0x0 and then closes.

    Try going to the spotlight in the top right corner and type in java click on java preferences on general drag java 6 to the top.
