I dont understand whats the need for spawning with it on when it takes about 5 seconds to grab it and put it on.... Also if i remember right if you shoot armour out of a dispenser it puts it on for you. (unless that was a mod)

manually defined in a config file, default none
able to employ mod items, ie modular powersuits
personally would prefer a config file to define a global snowline altitude
also a treeline, abovewhich trees automatically decay/die, this occurs just above the snowline IRL
hence prefer a set elevation for multi-mod compatability, rather than you coding each biome
jungle biomes shouldn't be spawning at that altitude in the first place, and there are mods that can adjust that
could go fancy by making snowline elevation = skyline along equator, then progressively lower as you head N/S

If you can figure out how to script fuel to poison food in 1.8x, then feel free to Roxa my world
I've been overriding Pam's recipe to produce charcoal in my private pack
happy to compromise with leather as fuel though
perhaps a generic litter/kindling block?
with sapling/leaves/charcoal burn rating options?
so we can customise recipes/drops with editor mods
no compacted block, let it look as bad as it really is, piled up in mounds, forming garbage heaps, max stack size 1
config option to attract user-specified mobs like bats, vermin and insects
preferably with 2x attraction range and 2x % chance, if adjacent to another pile
pollutes the block underneath at a configurable time (1800 default): Dirt -> Compacted Dirt, then Grass -> Dirt
dare I suggest... a rummaging option, to rarely drop a random mob or Tier 1 item of durability 0, when a pile is broken?
complete with a double your rubbish back guarantee (shapeless 1 -> 2), should you trash your furnace from overuse
would be a nice combo with the Manure mod

mods take a big hit from the coding changes in every decimal upgrade, most requiring complete rewrites
if not impossible to port over the concept altogether, aside from life getting in the way
some are 1.8 but thier topic OP here just hasn't been updated from 1.6/1.7 yet
others are waiting for the sweet spot 1.8 sub-release
current mods that don't need Forge are usually compatible atm
a few never will be, due to the very nature of how the mod works
albeit you probably know all that
maybe peruse these Forge compatibles, while you're waiting/comparing, especially thier config options

there are mods that use Forge to make minor changes with a few clicks and save them as a personal mod too
caught me in the middle of updating a personal packlist for the next sweet spot, so I don't have a current list of those yet
if there is a sweet spot in 1.8

Father Toast's Custom Chest Loot Mod can add them to the bonus chest, but that's not what I'm looking for.
