Wow, that is quite the ax. Do you also have in-game pictures?

Pintom: They look great. That is a lot of squares.

Hello you people to whom I have not posted anything for quite some time,

It's nice to have time to be back here!

I have decided to make some more textures and maybe a pack if I like them. Anywhoo, I have created a palette for that pack and would like input before I get started on creating the textures.

Any suggestions? Comments? Praises? Smart remarks?

This pack looks great! I really like the mixture of happy and cartoony while keeping a great quality. (if that makes any sense...)

    Keep up the good work!

I've been around for about 2 and 3/4ths years, but I forgot my old account info, so I made this one over a year ago.

I find some old 32x pixel-art textures I made over month ago. Feedback is welcome, but remember that, those are my old textures! Want you see more textures in same style? Or not? How about color choise?
EDIT: Don't complain about tiling, I made that tileset with MsPaint.

Those textures look great! The only thing which I noticed that bothered me was that the bottom of the grass looks a bit pillow shaded. It could just be me, but that was what I noticed.

A question(s) that I have for you is about how many colors did you use per block? Also, were you just coming up with the colors as you needed them, or were you using some sort of palette?

The second (this one is mainly just an interesting concept) is that all of the participants make texture packs, (or just a few textures) then post them under new accounts, and we try and figure out whom's pack belongs to whom. (Unfortunately, I believe that there is an forum rule against the same person having multiple accounts.)

Rather than making new accounts, we could just PM the packs to the person hosting the challenge and they could post the pictures/packs. This way, we wouldn't spam the forum with new accounts, yet no one would know who did what pack from the actual posting.

Google search "fantasy floating island asian" we should do one of those

    That could be fun. :)

On a different note, we should totally do that "artists style imitation" contest! :)

I am in total agreement with you. Who want's to start/host it?

Uncusoalsy, I'd have prefered the chistmass challenge, because I don't know if I have the time to make an entirely new pack.

I wouldn't set it up so that people would have to make a new pack. The contest would be about making the best palette. People would only need to make 2-3 textures using their palette or even just replace colors of an existing texture with those of their palette.
    Does that clarify that?

Thank you for the comments about me starting a new texture pack contest. I think I will instead try a palette contest. What are your thoughts on that? I also have a rather clear idea of how I would go about setting that up.

@DoubleUpGaming I think your idea is a good one.

I want to start a texture pack challenge. I was just wondering if people would like me to start it now, or wait for a while. (Maybe until after Christmas)

I definitely like the first one better. The other one has to much gray for ladders.

Hello! I've been working on textures in a more cartoony style, but I was wondering if they are too simple, the goal is to use straight edges and bright colors, but this might be too close to some other packs. I really like this style, though. From top left: Cobblestone, Grass, Side Grass, Stone, (Empty), Dirt

Also, does anyone know about this problem? I call it "color deterioration" and it happens when you use the color picker in paint.net, the H, S, and V will change slightly, but if you use the color picker enough it can mess up the colors. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

About the actual textures, They look good.
The main thing I have to say is, the stone and cobble look to similar. Maybe try adding darker shadows to the cobble.
