This will be my final post here. I want to thank almost all of the people who made this thread great. We're not 100% closed, just moved elsewhere. Check the OP for details regarding that and for the link to the Discord server if you still want to join.

(The link was temporary. The Discord isn't fully ready, yet, so once it's fully ready, I will post a more permanent link.)

(So just for the information of folks who aren't part of the regulars group who I might not have talked to, the plan going forward is to make some changes. The biggest change is that we are moving the RP to Discord for a more accessible experience. I suppose explanations and reasonings are in order.
Since many people who were once regulars don't exactly visit these forums much, moving to a Discord group, I feel, is the best action to take to bring those people back into the folds for more active posting. Along with that, moving to Discord may be more accessible to newcomers, particularly ones from outside this community. Encountering someone who might be willing to join off-site and asking them to make an account on the Minecraft Forums just for this RP is a little awkward, but asking people to join a Discord group is less so due to the fact many people have a Discord account for multiple purposes.
Also, the ability to create different rooms for different arcs and move between them will give the RP better structure and will reduce the amount of pre-reading and questioning that a newcomer may have to do before starting off.
I do hope those of you that have more recently joined in can join us. Entei and I will be setting up the Discord group hopefully this week. Once it is set up, I'll send out the link and also put it in the original post when editing it.)

(Sorry about my absence, but... I need to ask you guys something. I've been considering shutting this RP down. It's quite obvious that a lot of the people who where big players in this RP have moved on and either don't post too much or rarely post at all. Newcomers are few and far between and don't stick around for very long. I get distracted a lot, myself, and haven't really been feeling as much connection as I used to. I want to ask you guys, what's your opinion on potentially shutting down this RP? I know it means a lot to some of the people that still stick around. I'm sure if I can find some decent motivation to continue, I'd be with you all the way, but I just haven't felt the motivation and fun that I used to.)

Julie notices her good memories working for a while before seeing Draisoko resist the happy memories. She keeps running through them, seeing them turned against her, but she knows they're false. Her father would tell her to observe and adapt, so she starts observing, seeing the pattern of the smile in each one. Now it's time to deploy some of her tactics from home, the simple but effective method of punching someone in the face. She keeps running through the memories, gaining control of herself in the memory every time she sees the destruction god's face, winding up her swing and sending an electrically-boosted slugger into his smile every time. The more energy Draisoko sends into her, the more energy she absorbs from him, continuously draining him. Her body starts giving off electromagnetic pulse waves, releasing the excess energy from her body, causing blackouts in the city below and disrupting the radiating energy and bolts sent from Draisoko's power.

Julie herself hesitates a little as her mind is filled with these images. This would've given Draisoko a chance to escape if the mech hadn't clamped itself onto him. After a bit, the imagery starts to get to her, eventually seeing Erion and their son. The others are whatever to her, but you don't mess with her family. Angry, she tried her best to calm herself, trying to push the images out of her head while she just converts energy as best she can. Mentally, she asks herself what Erion would do, since he's the one who knows about light and dark. That's when she focusses on the light. She knows the dark, living through a personal Hell for most of her life, but that's all turned around since finding her father. Flashes of good moments fill her mind, pushing away the dark thoughts. Moments like her wedding day, the honeymoon on the Moon, the moment Vincent hatched from his egg, the birth of Xavier. Some of the happiest moments of her life that she wasn't just going to give up on.

Julie grins in her control deck as the energy spikes, knowing the destruction god has just played right into her hands. She places her hands into a couple of sockets after making sure the mech's hands are clamped on Draisoko's arms. Being directly connected to the mech now, the energy begins to drain from the god. While Julie normally uses electrical energy and, on occasion, dragon magic, she's learned to convert other kinds of energy into her own kind. Draisoko's dark energy begins to drain from his body as Julie absorbs it. However, due to its corrupting nature, the conversion is not easy for her. Inside her mech, as her body attempts to turn the dark energy into electricity to power herself, the pain is unbearable. She manages to grit her teeth and work through it for a while, but eventually she can't help but scream from the power surging through her, the conversion beginning to overload her body. If she absorbs too much, there may be a discharge, but she knows the risk is necessary, and if she could take the big bad destruction god down with her, that's what she's willing to do.

As her mech stops a ways away, Julie notices the self-repair. She can feel the energy working itself to fix Draisoko's wounds. If they were going to defeat him, the first step would be to get rid of that energy. Sticking to her initial plan, she turns to face Draisoko again. Once more, she boosts herself to extreme speeds, going for another slash, but after passing by, physics warps around her mech, changing the direction of her momentum without slowing down, going to circle around, then physics warps again to send her flying towards Draisoko for another attempt at a slash. It didn't matter to her whether or not it hit, she just kept repeating the process of slash, rotate, slash with random intervals of each one. She does this until it seems like Draisoko is noticing the patterns and getting comfortable enough to do something about her. That's when she changes up. She goes for one more slash, but this time physics warps as soon as she passes her opponent, completely halting her motion, then sending her into a quick flip over him, hoping to combo into a grab from behind.

(Obviously, as per usual, "this weekend" meant "maybe sometime next week.")
Julie rolls her eyes inside her mech as the madman rambles, electing to just turn up her music so she doesn't have to listen to him anymore. As she sees the other two bring in mechs, themselves, she grins, finding their hailing frequencies and sending each the message "Monkey see, monkey do. Have a plan, but need to grab him." Getting up from her impact in the building, the mech plants its feet on the wall and pushes off with a boost from the rocket, once again going at almost unseeable speeds with its sword ready to slice through Draisoko as soon as she reaches him.
City really hadn't thought of the fact that the only way for her and Cyber to get back home was now gone. Judging from the way Cyber looks between City and the injured guest, the virtual-born has only just realized this fact as well. City sighs a little, looking down at Cyber before looking back up to the precursor. "Well, that WAS our way back home. All we can do now is try to help and hope there's some other way home. Seeing as we're not from this universe even, I personally don't care what the reasons are. Fact of the matter is, I just want to be able to go home after any issues are sorted."

(Since the semester is over, I can concentrate on other things. As such, I'll start properly replying this weekend. Also, assuming I have permission from my instructor and teammates, I might release the executable and project files for the game I worked on for my final project. It's based on City Runner. Not great, but not fully awful.)

What's your policy on creating, like, multiple versions of the same skin? Like, same character but different outfits? Willing to discuss and will DM you my Discord if you think that'll make things easier.

As the shield is recharging, the mech has less defense this time. The energy blast sends the mech flying back, knocking into a building but seems otherwise functional. The extent of the damage seems more like scratched paint. As the fight continues, the mech's computer is constantly gathering data on Draisoko, analyzing it, and calculating ways to beat him. Seeing how the energy her opponent is exerting, Julie gets an idea. It's a risky one, but it could work. The only issue to work out is how to grab hold of Draisoko.
As the female Vex is blasted and the sandstorms die out, anyone listening in on the military radio channels can hear cheers of victory from the tank operators, unable to notice what the Sentinel is doing from inside the armored vehicle. The victory is fairly hollow, though, as the bodies of soldiers flung around and battered like ragdolls against the remaining buildings now lay still around the town, covered in the rough substance left behind.

The energy shield is still up from where it took the blast and it seems to be taking the punched very well. It's obviously wearing down from the assault, but manages the keep up long enough for Julie to analyze the blows. While she can't see them, she knows her energies and these blows were certainly not kinetic in nature. At least not primarily. As the energy shield begins to crack, the mech's free hand transforms into its gun and takes aim at Draisoko's gut. It wasn't going to make it through the energy shield from the other side, so Julie waits it out, keeping the sword in place to keep the shield up. An alert in the cockpit gives a warning that the shield is about to break. She rides it out, waiting for the exact moment she sees it shatter to pull the trigger. As soon as the shield breaks and needs to recharge, the gun sends a massive charged blast of electrical energy straight to Draisoko's gut.
Only a few transports that were already up to speed manage to get away from the sand tornadoes, taking off down the road as fast as they can go. Most, however, succumbed to the wind and sand, being disabled and clogged by sand and swept up in the strong winds with the exception the tanks, which were too heavy. The three tanks they had placed there communicate with each other. They had no way of escaping, but if they can do any damage in their probably final moments, they would be regarded as heroes at their funerals. All three switch to thermal vision to find the Vex and take aim at the signature. Al three, once locked on, begin firing as fast as they can, with both machine-guns and full tank shells, the operators firing and loading as fast as they can, trying to take out the Vex.

The mech quickly moves its sword in front of it, the gesture causing an energy shield to appear in front of it. The blast moves the mech back a few yards, but it's still in place and ready for a fight. Inside the mech, Julie doesn't feel like listening to the madman's ramblings, Julie taps on the mech controls and a song starts playing. She intended for it to just be inside the cockpit, but the song gets blared out over the speakers of the mech. She opens up a can of her favorite electrified energy drink, ZAP! Cola. She takes a big gulp, then burps loudly, forgetting to turn the microphone off, so everyone hears it, then places the can in a built-in spill-proof cupholder.
With the sandstorm picking up and the building turning to sand, the commander orders a tactical retreat, to which the soldiers oblige. They try to cover their faces as best they can while braving the sandstorm, all headed towards the direction of the main highway, where the emergency evac was located. The few soldiers with operable weapons provide covering fire, aiming to distract the Vex from her destruction while the other soldiers get away. Any vehicles still operable also make their way towards the evac area, any soldiers who can get on, whether riding on the top of the tank or getting into empty seats in the transport vehicles.
