Seems like the server is still down, but last time I talked to Ball he'd ordered a wifi card, it should arrive this week. Then instead of everyone complaining at him about the lag, I think just one of us (Valgaror or I, or maybe even both) should talk to him about the problems that arose during his absence and try to get the lag addressed as top priority. The server is dead in part due to lag, because newcomers don't feel like dealing with it. He's gotta see that!
Noted- the offensive nature is most likely due to the player having his things grieved due to employing improper use of the protection blocks (say, it's always good to place a few iron protection blocks around the perimeter of your home to prevent lava damage). This is of course no excuse for the behavior displayed, and consequences must happen.
Added a food shop and several homes to spawn for those who want to has a safe, secure place to put some valuable tools or items. I'm doing everything I can to make this server better, including repairing grieved homes.
Also, banned Dredoman for not only grieving (and leaving his name behind) but leaving nasty messages as well. Good riddance.
On another note, the server is definitely laggy and causes a lot of frustration and ragequitting. Fixing the server lag should be your top priority when you're able to return back to working on the server normally.
I am currently building homes inside spawn for those trying to build in the Wilds and are worried about losing rare/valuable tools or items. The homes are for sale for a cheap $1000 and have room for a basement to be built, and room for multiple chests. Those of you who have stuck around from the previous server (before the catastrophe and new map) are allowed a home FOR FREE. Make sure there are a few references that can vouch for your loyalty.
It /seemed/ like you were ignoring us, I know valg and I keep talking about trying to at least get creative to rebuild a few weeks worth of work. We're not pissed about you having to reset the server because both of us understand **** happens. We're pissed because we lost everything we worked hard on. If you don't plan on giving us back our levels and xp or creative to rebuild what was lost, I'd like a refund of a donation and I'll take my business elsewhere. It's as simple as that. I'm sure everyone else who put time and effort into the old map will probably want the same thing back.

You could have the cleverzed zombie faction and also a cannibal faction.
Also along the lines you can have do-gooder factions as well, trying to rebuild democracy. Dunno how hard that'd be to control hierarchies within factions, but it's something to think about (president, vice-president, etc. etc.)
Would you consider giving us creative mode or world edit (even for just a temp rebuild do we don't have to spend two damn weeks doing it all over again)?
I know the map was huge, but having to start all of our stuff over from scratch is seriously disheartening. I didn't donate to play on a new map and lose all the hard work Valg and I put into it.

I'd like to be a mod in order to keep peace on the server and reprimand those who disobey the rules or cause havoc for others. I enjoy helping others and solving differences. I'm also online at times of the day when other mods can't cover those time zones. Between the mods you have now and I, all times should be dutifully covered.
