I was on earlier, and now it either says the server is full or "end of stream". I'll keep trying.

4. Why do you want to play on this server?: I've been on for a while and started building. The Zombies are an incredible hindrance, but hey, it's all good.

I can't get on...what gives?

What is RP to you?: Role play is exactly what it is, the playing of a role. I act IRL, so I understand the underlying action of it. Role play in Minecraft is all about playing the role you choose, or that someone else chose for you.

What you would like to do in general with this server?: I love to build stuff and to survive. I'm getting pretty good at fighting too.

What are your skills in minecraft?: Building and farming. Also, stealth.

How long have you played Minecraft?: Since Beta 1.1

Do you have any reference with the Vietnam War?: As in, do I know about it? I wasn't IN it or anything. I was also not alive then...

If so to the above question, what are you familiar with?: Oh, well then. I know the underlying goal, contain the Communist threat to North Vietnam and not South Vietnam. However, with the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese troops being masters at unconventional warfare, we couldn't defeat them with just our bombs and planes. Their guerilla warfare resulted in American deaths that, in the end, turned United States opinion against the war. We withdrew.

What faction you would be interested in joining (once RP starts): United States. I already downloaded the skin.

Have you ever been banned?: Not once.

Why I should let you join my server: I'm a fairly good builder, but where I really shine is farming. I've also built shops, inns, terraforming...all sorts of stuff really.

I built my new house on top of a mountain. On my top floor, I was above the clouds. Imagine my surprise when I see rain...



And just in case, I took it in both Graphics mode (Fancy and Fast)



I realize that the rain doesn't actually come from the clouds. It probably should, though.

Thanks for the great feedback, everybody. I'm thought about making one with sugar cane, and decided it wasn't worth it.

Ah, but where's the creation in that?

I guess there's no right way to play Minecraft. That's why I love this game.

I know, I know. I'm a slave to efficiency as well. I got bored of it, y'know? There's no real creation in that.

I tried the idea and it didn't work out for one reason: I couldn't place torches on it. Due to the unique position of the terrace, I either have to put the torch on the bridge or concoct an elaborate floating light system. If only...

I don't think water can flow under half blocks, if that's what you're trying to say.

OT: It looks nice, but I wouldn't make it. I like really simple wheat collecting for my farm.

In general, I do as well. I spent a solid week making high efficiency, high yield wheat farms. Sometimes you just want it to look pretty, y'know?

EDIT: Yeah, the half blocks definitely didn't work. Good in theory, though.

I was going to say that I wanted it to be wood, but then I remembered the new half-wood blocks. Good idea, I'll change that.
