posted a message on Pokemon Black and White 2
I LOVE the Pokemon hate, especially when people say "red/blue/gold/silver/ruby/saphire/etc was my first game, anything before that was really good too but everything after that gen sucked!". Obvious nostalgia is obvious.

Hell, sales may have ben huge for B/W but it seems the majority of the people who rant on Gen V are all the ones who have never even bought it.

    Arguments against the... :

    -Pokemon
    Trubbish and Vanillish, blah blah.

Response: What the **** is geodude. What the **** is golem? (I like golem, but really, what the **** is he?) Slowpoke? I've never heard anyone have slowpoke or his evolutions as a favorite pokemon- or even use them. He looks terrible. And, Muk? Really? There is also voltorb/electrode (pokeballs, really?) And caterpie. UH. Most hideous pokemon to me, imo, besides slowpoke, from Gen I.

Sentret. DUNSPARCE. Seedot- cool, but based off a nut. lul. What the hell is snorunt?

And all of the legendaries looked VERY simple. There was no awe (aside from the fact of the knowledge that they will rape you) in seeing them. No "ohshit, I'mgonnadiefromthatwhateveramazinggodthing".
    .

    -Sameness
I've heard the story is completely different now. I admit, Gen IV had a retarded story... well, so did Gen I, with Kanto and Johto having pretty good storylines, but Gen V, from what I've read so far, has an amazing story. AND its going to have a sequal. Not some "gray/emerald/yellow/crystal" ****, but something new for once, something I've wanted (aside from, I guess, Platinum)- a sequal! A continuation, not a rehash with some extra stuff (as someone said, a GOTY version, basically) in it.

And aside from all the new things B/W threw, like the battle subway thing, the dreamworld, etc, people think it'll be the same water down game.

Also- obviously its "easier" now, especially if you have played a pokemon game now a days. We know the tricks! Although the battle system may change, or new things added, there is a central root to it thats always stayed in the pokemon series that we know by instinct if you've played 1+ generations. Of course red/blue is gonna be hard as hell, or at least you think it is. Its the first game you played! You had no guidance/exp, and now you do.

And... gotta attend to my third leg.

    posted a message on Runescape?
I bet the majority of people here who bag on RS have not:
    -Met/socialized the forum community.
-Ventured out of Lumbridge, Fally, or Varrock.
-Played it in X amount of time.
-Maybe have not even played it and get their opinions from "respected" peers.

The game is still good, but I've hit that little hill when you're in between being a mid/lower level person and a high leveled person(I think I'm 69 or 70 cb lvl) and that's been the major problem I've had in the game. I HATE that phase. It takes a long ass time to get out of, but I think I'll get back in there and just grind a bit for a while and have fun doing quests and hanging out with a clan. That, or I may just start a-new. I really don't know what I'll do right now xD

If you guys really think the community is bad, just join a clan or a group from the forums. BEST people to play with. They make the game, really, for the most part. + mute public chat if you're in a noisy area.

Their White Album is the best album they have made. That, and Revolver and Abbey Road. (Rubber Soul gets a mention too, because there was not a song that I did not like on that album.)

But srsly mang. The White Album has the most amazing songs... Yer Blues, Obla-Di-Obla-Da, Helter Skelter, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Savoy Truffle, Glass Onion, Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Blackbird, I Will, Birthday, Revolution, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, Sexy Sadie, Dear Prudence, Cry Baby Cry, I'm So Tired, Martha My Dear... you get the idea.

If you wanted you could kill serial murderers or suspected terrorists. With anti-murder laws gone, you will be free to carry knives, guns, and other weapons with you at all times. Society would actually become safer once everyone willing to kill becomes sufficiently armed.

Except this doesn't stop them from killing everyone else first. Actually, these people are sure to have weapons way before the normal population does- and probably have worse weapons to use. Not so smart.

Taking justice into your own hands =/= no. I do not want an emotionally charged idiot killing someone else. I want someone detached, cool-headed and not involved in the situation to decide what will happen to who.

If you honestly think this would be safer... ._."

    Quote from KaijHatesCurse

I actually agree with this statement and believe that it would indeed be safer. Think about it people would protect themselves and the ones who could not would die off which is exactly how our planet is supposed to be, not the strong protecting the weak.

Social darwinism much? Lmao. Altruism goes a long way.
Anyway, for example- let's take the stereotypical nerd... and...

Well, there goes the brains of the human population.
And guess who's the judge and law of the land? That guy who uses his muscles more than his brains. Yay. Feel totally safe d00dz.

Now, the science-y part. Let's say altruism helps keep a population up/growing. The more people there are, the more of a chance of there being an individual who will drastically help society be it with an invention, etc. Cut off that altruism, and the population falters, with the chances of something coming up that will benefit society. Now, take away the law, and you make the population drop lower still. This is bad for the population.

Second, many who value in favor of anti-murder laws base their arguments on the idea of humans having souls, although they will sometimes disguise this belief using Sagan-like technobabble. Since the concept of the soul is a religious concept, and since the First Amendment of the United States constitution explicitly forbid laws which endorse religious beliefs, all anti-murder legislation should be nullified; hopefully there will be enough Atheist additions to the Supreme Court within out lifetimes to make this so.

    O allah.

You do not have to be religious or atheistic to believe that everyone has the right to do whatever they want in their life, as long it does not interfere with anyone else's life- aka, murder, violence, etc. No "soul" part in that.

That, and I highly doubt (and I highly distrust) human's will be able to distinguish a "good" murder from a bad one. Taking justice into your hands is stupid, because you are most likely emotionally charged (revenge kills, etc.), and that clouds judgement. Makes it even scarier since this "would" happen in the US of A, where everyone has an above average IQ and the bestest morality in the world.

I actually thought this was going to be a good devil's advocate thread, but I am disappoint.

Out of those? Blockland. (RtB, returning to blockland, however, trumps/beats all three, it's almost as good as minecraft.)

Roblox is still fun, for the most part- besides the community in the forums (Never go on their forums anyway), I have not had bad experiences in that game. You guys just pick really crappy servers.

Blockland... gah. RtB > Blockland in so many ways. Mods were better, there used to be more servers... O:<

Club Penguin used to be crazy fun. I got involved with the 'army' stuff in the servers when I joined around 4ish years ago, spent countless hours on that game and Runescape. Once Disney bought it and put all the crazy changes (more chat restrictions, for instance. They took out the ability to put in numbers :/), it is still fun for nostalgic value nowadays, for me. CP > Blockland.

Oh, and you're supposed to interact with your friends for real fun on there. Not the minigames and stuff. xD
