Ok, so I really love this mod, but I noticed that when you're typing, if you hit your F key at all, it changes your render distance. Is there any way to fix this?
the vertex series never had firmware issues as far as i know, it was only the ocz agility series. Also for gaming the most important thing is peripherals, so don't get a cheap keyboard and especially A CHEAP WIRELESS MOUSE.
I don't understand what's wrong with wireless peripherals. :|
Really having a tough time deciding.. modular seems like it's a lot better, so I'm trying to find one that is, which has me starting my search over again lol. :|
Seems to be better value for me, but you probably wont use 700w in which case you can go with the cheapest one you mentioned. Those two seem to be the best.
I didn't even know OCZ made PSU's until recently, so I'm still kind of iffy on their quality, was hoping to get some reassurance.
Cooler Master does not make good PSU's, OCZ is meh, but the second one (this one) is the best out of the one's you chose. The good PSU brands are Corsair, Seasonic, Rosewill's HIVE series, and I am trying to think of other good brands but at 12:00 AM after partying it's kind of difficult.
Yeah I agree, I really like that Corsair, but it's not modular. I don't really know if that's going to be an issue or not, or what the difference is really, and that's why I haven't made my decision yet.
So this is my current build so far, and I just need help picking out a PSU. I know I haven't picked out a graphics card yet, so it might be hard to decide how much wattage I need. It's not going to be anything crazy though, probably $150 or less.
Your client is looking in your Roaming folder where your .minecraft folder should be, which is what has all your files in it. You need to use another launcher like MagicLauncher, and then specify where your .minecraft folder is at. Then it should work, and you should be able to play from a removable drive on any machine that has MagicLauncher configured.
I am with a great server host, they give me full ftp access via the control panel and via a client. If you dont know what ftp is, it basically lets you access all the server files remotely. My setup is a lot like this, just all the server stuff in a folder
Yeah that's basically all I need, just an FTP, all I need to do is be able to access the other machine.
From what the rest of you are saying though is most hosts do not usually work like that, right?

Whenever I hit setup, this comes up.

I honestly only need around 600, but I figure a bit more won't hurt and leaves me some space in case I decide to upgrade later on.

I hope all goes well, seems like a quality product based off the reviews of several sites.
