Have you fully closed the whole program/launcher and tried re-logging? Also be sure only to have on launcher open?

It is rather annoying how the console must come up.The old one is much more compact and simpler.

Carpets also cover up things you don't want shared, kinda like paintings.

Good point, this could be a more efficient way. I should also mention that some bait or loot should be included inside the house to lure people in.

It has come to my attention that the new carpet block comes quite useful in the art of trap making. It can cover up most any item, and not look super suspicious. I have some images to share with you. As you can see I have covered up a TNT floor with carpets that connect to a pressure plate. The plate opens the iron door into an obsidian house. Once the player enters the house, they do not have an escape route or enough time to exit before the explosion occurs. This is a cheap yet efficient way to guarantee death.
