    I liked the promise of grief prevention, but it didn't work. I just did get griefed.
    My chests and furnaces in my base were safe, but my chickens(in my base) are all gone and my mine is griefed to hell.
    This all because the blocks are protected, but the doors are not. So they could enter and wreak havoc.
    It's a nice idea, but this just doesn't work. You need something to revert griefing and lock doors and such.

    EDIT: Someone just informed me the chickens(and doors?) might have been my fault, but the mine wasn't. The area you can protect is tiny(something like 500 blocks). Meaning you can't actually build anything beyond a small home without it being exposed to griefers.

    Just started playing and would like to give you my first feedback right away:

    - It isn't indicated anywhere that the player can't play on peaceful.(Seems logical, but someone might get the map from a friend or something and not realize it's a survival map.)
    - The first sign during the escape has "guards" misspelled.
    - The water tubes can be used to escape the prison and not end up on the island.
    - If you run left instead of straight, you will survive.

    What is the goal after surviving? All you need is a renewable food source to survive. Since you can't leave the tiny island, what can you do? You need something to do after you've settled on the island.

    Just for this sarcastically insulting post you just made I hope that by 1.2.0 the game will have changed again to something YOU don't like. Just so you can feel what Rhaazerus feels now. Maybe then you'll understand.

    I don't mind hearing some bones break when I fall 10+ blocks, but having even minor fall damage use that sound is stupid. It takes away from the severity of a really long fall and when you take fall damage intentionally(since you'll regenerate anyway) it gets really annoying really fast. This is especially true on peaceful where you have high regen.

    Of course the sound being used for damage types other then fall damage is beyond ridiculous. Did Jeb or Notch actually test this?

    While we're at it, the tool breaking sound really needs a change. It's WAY too loud relative to any other sounds and it scares the living **** out of you if you're not paying attention to it. I think it should be a much softer *ping* sound, or a *crack* sound(handle breaking).

    Not sure if Jeb will care, but lets hope we get into the hundreds of pages here. The ugly really needs to go.
    Notch was way too focused on putting an ending into minecraft before the release. Because of that, everything else that really should have been fixed before 1.0.0 got left behind. Really now, adding the End before fixing your main world? Let alone all the bugs it was released with. The artist Notch really needs to take a backseat to programmer Notch lest we end with a huge game that's still half broken.

    I'd just like to report that 1.46 isn't working for me. It blackscreens when trying to generate a new world. So I installed 1.45 instead and that seems to work fine. I'm running Windows 7 64 if that helps.(Java 6 I believe)

    Easily the best texture pack I've seen. Most good packs are half great and half not so great. This is all great so far. The only downside is that not all the textures have been replaced yet. So some things(like some saplings) look really out of place. So I really hope those textures get added in the near future.

    Without the clay in the recipe this would be a nice addition to MC. Right now it'd be a pain to make long roads and wouldn't leave you any clay to make bricks. Maybe you can use sand instead?

    I also agree on the dirt road texture. It looks like dirt with some weeds growing on it. Maybe a smoother brown texture would work?

    Likes/dislikes about a server: Not sure about iConomy and no mention about fire-spread limiting is a little worrying. The rest looks good.
    why this server: It ticks all the checkboxes of our wishlist, so I'd like to see if it's the server for us.

    I just installed the 1.3 version. Everything works fine, but the ammo indicator seems to indicate 1 clip less then I have in my inventory.(Tested with SG552, AK47 and Deagle) I don't know if it is supposed to report extra clips(not in the gun) and thus indicate one less, but it creates problems because you can't see the difference between having a loaded clip in your gun and being out of ammo.

    It seems like a cool mod, but extremely iron heavy. Combined with minecarts or other mods, this could be a problem. It's also the first mod I've seen that is diamond heavy(because of the grinder).

    Also, cool flash effect in that last video.
