It's not hacking when it's in vanilla. This couldn't have been built without redstone and command blocks, anyway, unless you used a mod.
which is exactly why i called it that. seriously, people used to build cool redstone contraptions, like the famous CASUC nuclear reactor for ic2 made by someone who was even qualified to(ish).
don't get me wrong guys, i'm not trying to poopoo at it or whatever just... well if you need to go this far to make these things work then you don't get the bragging rights for it if you have to use command blocks because you're no longer working within the confines of the game.
also, command blocks are disabled by default, so that first bit is arguable, but opinion as well is a factor.

yeah for work usage macintosh used to be very much a creation focused OS, although these days a lot of those tools exist on both ends, as far as price that's a bit of a misconception, sure you could slap together a piece of crusty old turds for $300 and call it a computer, personally though my gaming rig has already sucked $3,500 or thereabouts from my wallet and ever-climbing.

can someone post a completely filled out worlds.txt would help a lot by the way, if nothing else it would help me understand how to edit it manually and let me figure out if that's the problem or not, anytime i try to edit it manually i get a lot of errors that sound like a script compiler got the wrong syntax telling me a line and column start of the problem as well as the same for end.
i honestly wonder if i'm just uncommenting the wrong things in the worlds file, not really sure.

i still need to build a hackintosh someday
intel macs are cool, it's really just the type of user who owns a mac typically, the type who only knows how to use it because of a paycheck, sorry, don't take any offense to this, it's coming from a total nutcase who builds PCs because it's fun

yep, honestly from what i understand i think the problem is either with the dynmap internal webserver configuration (not sure which is correct for mineos) or the worlds.txt file, should i still see the webpage address as up but with a blank map or what in case that is misconfigured?
i had thought it shouldn't need anything changed in the worlds.txt as the OP says but i'm really starting to suspect that's not at all the case.

yeah, you're "that guy" sorry, owns a toyota too, i hope it's not a prius at least.

euch, you can still get viruses, people just don't bother to make them for such a peasant OS.
additionally, he might want to look into just getting a better anti virus that has less false positives.

windows defender is your problem there, it's not very hard to google how to permanently disable it.
original here:
http://www.tenforums.com/antivirus-firewalls-system-security/5879-permanently-disable-windows-defender.html
no one is liable for your actions, i personally disable antivirus permanently for performance reasons anyway so i knew where to find instructions to do so easily.

good to know, thanks.

maybe warding a block instead of making it bedrock could change it to obsidian hardness and chance to return a portion of the tool's mining effectiveness to the person mining it as damage?
i do have to agree though, we really need MFFS back in some form or another instead of thaumcraft, at least that would be ideal, although totally OP for pvp, it would be a much more complete protection measure.

awesome to hear, i've been anticipating the new version for tinkers, heck now i need to figure out how much of a pain running a second server off my box is though.
0
yeah, as i said originally, internal, external, or the localhost all produce identical results.
oh, without the port number, yeah, just checked, same result.
0
i'm not sure what i did wrong, but after making sure the port is forwarded i get a timeout instead of seeing dynmap when i go to the address of the server using either the localhost:8123 link, the internal ip and port, or the external ip and port.

oh wait, i think i see, i had reika's silver set as the default type by auto ore dictionary converter, that is probably it.

the procedure i did was one post above you asking, re-read, i tried manually changing the world name now and no change.
the crash report is missing mods dragon api, rotary craft, nothing helpful.
the fml server log3 is too long for a paste so dropbox here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/abo0giquay1o37a/New Text Document.txt?dl=0
not really sure which log in specific you need and ubuntu pastebin isn't unlimited length, the latest log only shows starting the server, making the level, nothing of interest it's like 12 lines long or close to it, everything normal.

yeah i posted the link to that above it's not helping at all, i deleted the worlds, reikas folders in config as well as the mods and then placed that in there, let it generate a new world and removed that and started it again and now it shuts down after it finishes starting.
