Well, I frequent Azrooz SMP server. Its public, but it has rules and disabled fire and TNT. Me and sowdom acualy build as a team, and we build our bases big, usually. we have used a whole mountain before, as I recall it. But I can build with what you give me, if thats more conveniant for the server.
Well, my friend sowdom pointed me toward this server, and I've seen that its grief free. I've always been on servers that are protected by rules. I've never griefed and my IGN is also Timothy.
It sounds a bit... unfitting for the creeper to be able to infect you, but on the other hand, making zombies faster and a chance to be infected by them. Although I think it would be fun if turning into a spider made you jump as high as them. possibly put the lunge attack back for infected players. only you can't attack during day and after 1-2 days you die if not treated. I'd make it so you need to have a player treat you, but there is just too many people that would kill you on sight.
I believe the roof contains the void if you dig up enough, just like if you dig down enough theres sometimes pockets were you can find the void. perhaps the void could be an alternative portal that takes you to the hell world. mabye to use the void you would have to have a jewel of some sort with you made out of ruby or something. and if you don't you just get caught in the void with nothing around you being stuck in limbo with an air meter. If you get the refrence I'm kind of going for, congrats, you've read a really old book!
I think the "portal" actually is a holdable device that you can activate whenever you please. Basically, maybe it really is a holdable medallion that you activate to teleport to hell and back.
After all, if hell is a fast-travel dimension shouldn't you be able to switch in and out when you need to?
So i believe you use a hand held device to access hell.
And perhaps you equip the medallion in your chest plate armor spot as a kind of sacrifice for power, along with the limited uses somebody else mentioned. I personally want to be able to make an obsidian knife without as much reach as a sword, but does more damage than one. The moment we got obsidian I was hoping for knives made out of them for combat, but no such luck. =/
This forum lacks the option for Minecraftian. we can carry tons of solid rock make signs without nails and even punch trees down! We found establising out country easy. >_>
I was out at night being chased by a horde of zombies and skeletons. I run across my lava moat into my door and close it, running to the second floor. I see a spider comming at me from up te stairs and smack it while running to my third floor. in my third floor I see a creeper a zombie, and a spider. The creeper exploded and broke open a lava container and lava flooded everywhere. I ran to my balcony, turned around and the spider tackled me and we BOTH fell into the lava moat. Honestly it scared the F**K out of me.
If I'm feeling proud, I go back the way I came. If I go the wrong way, I get even more lost (by accident.) Then I start wishing I hadn't made my base out of snow blocks in a snow map.
If I'm not feeling much too proud, I walk up to a creeper and ask for directions. Then I'm at the spwan again!
They're getting smarter now! I was taking on two from the front and -BLAMMO one sneaks up behind me and blows up and I'm smashed into the first creeper. Luckily with great knowledge comes weaknesses. The other creeper got the stand still glitch and I smacked his buddy away as he blew up I could see the fear in the other creeper's eyes.
They both blew up and I picked up 2 gunpowder from the wreckedge.
Everybody on the alert! The mobs are preparing an army with professionaly trained soldiers! They're preparing for SMP! Quick, to the recruitment center minecrafters!
