    Can you explain to me how I'm trying to rebalance other mods around this one? What mechanic have I added that forces other mods to bend to this one's will? If Godzilla did anything else than 1 shot a creature like an Xeno, that would be a disservice to the Kaiju. As stated previously, there will be new mechanics that will allow for better balancing within the Legends Mod (so characters like Superman don't get one shot), but as far as your argument goes, I can't see any validity to your statement. It's naive to think that when creating these monsters I'm like, "Ooh, let's make it so Godzilla can kill this creature in this other mod." No, the mod is meant to work against itself. You're actually calling for me to rebalance this mod around others by trying to make these creatures conform to the stats of others. Who's rebalancing now?

    Are you also against anyone trying to help with maintaining newer versions, i.e. closed-source? Closed-source mods just don't survive very long, as eventually when they die, they're gone, no one can bring it back.

    To a degree. All the coders on the mod now help add to the current version. Again, it is about where resources are allocated. The majority of players prefer 1.7.10 so the majority of our resources go into that version. Only 30% out of hundreds of players polled preferred mods in the latest version of Minecraft.

    To answer the many questions about porting the mod, here is why it remains in 1.7.10: Porting up versions would require a rewrite or alteration to every new version of Minecraft, which I don't have the time for anymore. Also, after doing numerous polls, at least 60% of players preferred a modded 1.7.10 to all other versions. Why update when the majority are satisfied with the version at hand. The final reason being, I personally don't like the newer versions of Minecraft and I don't want to develop a mod for a version of Minecraft that I don't like; would take any joy out of it. People don't realize but by updating the mod to the latest version, it would mean it would take longer to add features into it - and people are already complaining about it not updating fast enough as is, so wouldn't make sense for me to do it.

    You are using an outdated Legends Core. You need Legends Core 1.8 and no that does not mean Minecraft 1.8 thats just the version of the mod.

    Yes they can deflect things such as that. The flight animation has been updated so there is no sneaking animation in the air and the omega beams will be updated in the future to follow the target. Have to remember, it's only an alpha. ;)

You demanding that they quit something that they have been working on for a while and continue with something that they ALREADY SAID they were going to work on is not supporting in the slightest, and support is what they need.



    That is the best response I've seen yet! Complaining is not the same as supporting. We make the decisions as to which mods get updated when based on popularity and demand for it. You can't argue that SUM is complete when there literally so much left to do, likewise with this mod. SUM has been more of a priority, not because we like it any more, but because the viewership is literally 10x (I have the numbers) higher then that of this mod when actively updating. More people just like superheroes, thus resulting in us having to spend more time working on it. No worries though cause like I said, this mod will be introduced into the Legends Project and production will begin again.
