    ((Agreed))

David awoke with a crick in his neck.

    "Ah."

David said, rubbing his neck, and wiggling his shoulders. His laptop had gone into sleep mode. He popped the lid, and checked the time. It was 11:00AM the day of the heist. He uploaded the virus onto multiple different devices. A USB disk, an online repository for programs, an external hard drive, his phone, and a game controller for instance. After he had the virus securely on multiple media formats, he hurriedly closed the laptop, hid it under the floor in his normal hiding space, and almost ran out the door. He got to the subway station, and got on the next train to station nearby the HQ. As he walked down the street, he saw the customary thugs, and gangbangers. He walked by them, not worried about them at all. He entered the building, and leaned against the wall to wait for the rest of the team to show up.

    ((ITS BACK!))

As the rest of the group followed The Mastermind down to the basement, David left the derelict building, and walked in the direction of the subway station, so that he could head home. As he walked down the abandoned street, he saw many a street thug, doing anything from smoking, to mugging someone. Luckily, David knew how to make the stay away. Walk with confidence, shoulders up, like your ready for a fight. David wasn't a tough person, but he could damn sure put on the look. He got to the subway station, flashed his pass at the ERTs, and walked into the station. He sat on the train, contemplating his new life. He was back to doing what he used to. He was going to tear down the oppressive government brick-by-brick. Even if it killed him. As the train pulled into his station, he disembarked, walked out of the station, and towards the building he called home. He immediately walked to the back room, and pulled out the stash of USB nukes he had. He counted 27 in total. They were a piece of hardware he and the other hacktivists had created. He managed to loot a few from the hideout before he left. He then pulled out the laptop computer he had looted from the hideout. It had everything he needed to write a new virus on it. All of his, and his friends APIs, any coding language he could want, multiple IDEs. It was a beauty. He popped open the lid, and became to code. Time flew by as David smashed buttons on the keyboard, creating a program that would infest the ERT infrastructure, and subtly destroy it. As the sun fell further beyond the horizon, David didn't begin to feel tired, in fact, he felt more alive than ever. His adrenaline was pumping, every vein in his body threatening to burst. The lights of the morning sky began to peek out from behind the buildings that populated the skyline. As the sun rose above the massive skyscrapers, David began to slow his pace. He was so very nearly done with the program, but he had just a few little things left to do. As he finished typing, his beautiful virus complete, David's head began to slump. As it did, his eyelids drooped, and soon, David was dead asleep.

David stood up, and walked towards Knightbridge, getting in his face, angry as all hell. "Try telling me that when the ERTs break into your home and kill everyone you love and care for like they did to me. They have brains, they see the stuff that goes on inside, they see the orders they are given. They know that what they are doing isn't for the good of the people, its for the good of the high class. You'd have to be an idiot not to see that. Each and everyone of them can see that the choices they make aren't for the good of the people, and if they stay, they are just as bad as Carver himself. If given the chance, they would kill everyone of us with the lack of hesitation the same as a bear trying to protect its young. As for their surveillance, I've dealt with that personally. They may not know where you are at every moment, but they damn sure know where you went. Especially if you used public transport. If they can put 2 and 2 together, and they notice that we all went to the same place, and an abandoned place no less, at the same time, they won't hesitate to kill each and everyone of us here. I don't care who you are, they will put a bullet in your head. I guarantee it. If you wont heed my advise, then when you don't show up tomorrow, I guess we wont have to look for you." David backed away, and started to walk towards the door. "I guess I had better get started on this virus. I don't need any equipment, I don't carry weapons. I leave the killing to the ERTs."

David looks towards Spencer. "I can't do that without access to the network, that's what the preliminary mission is for. As for burning the consoles Sirbia, we can't really do that. I can sneak in the virus undetected. If they find that the consoles are burnt, they will know we interfered with them. As much as I can do, I can't make my virus completely undetectable and irremovable, there are a lot of security flaws, that are actually security features in the right situations, that make heavy virus removal a lot easier than it should be."

David looks around the room, ready to do what he had been doing before, a new. "On top of what Mastermind said, don't be seen together. At all. They will make the connection, and they will hunt you down, and I guarantee, they will kill you and everyone you love. You can't fight them, it just can't be done, so don't tempt fate. They will murder you, and everyone you love, right in front of your eyes. They don't live to protect, they live to kill, and if you give them a reason to kill something, they will take it with zero hesitation. Go about your normal lives, don't change anything. They're watching. If you start to slack off work, and changing your routine, they will find out."

Mastermind gave his opinion on the plan, just as two men walked into the room, one after another. They both asked what they had missed. David was little more than upset about the two. One of the men looked like, for lack of a better term, too cool for school, sitting down next to "Frank" and greeting her. "Well, had you been here earlier, maybe you would have known. We just went over our plan to infiltrate the Chrysler building and cripple the communication infrastructure of the ERTs." David then turned to mastermind. "Sounds good. Ill need to be above ground when the device gets hooked in, and ready to access the network. Once I get in, I'll be able to see ERT movements inside the building, and some other pretty high level stuff. I'm gonna need a few days to write up the virus, and even then, it might need some tweaking once were inside. I could just drop a nuke into the network, and destroy literally everything, but then they will put all their efforts into repairing it. Its much better to cripple the infrastructure silent and deadly. Ill drop a kill switch into the program, so if stuff goes down, I can nuke their entire network. I'll need to head back to my house and grab a lot of my equipment. Might need some help carrying some of the stuff. Anyone up for it?" David looks around the room, at the ragtag group. They were all different, but they had one common task. Carver up. For the first time in years, David felt like he was doing something important, something good. The last time he felt that way, everyone he cared about died.

David runs through the plan Mastermind proposes. In his head, he can see all the problems, risks, and possible outcomes. "That might just work. The alarm from the train would drown out the alarm from the booth, and give whoever goes in enough time to hook up the device and leave. We could even tie this in with the Chrysler Building op. Complete this, and move straight into the building."

David leaned back against the wall, thinking through all the scenarios. What would happen if we did this? Would someone die if we did that? He heard the notion of a gas leak being mentioned. "No, we can't do that. Some of the subway tunnels have passages up to the surface. If we set off a gas leak, it would do more harm than good." He began to think again, and came up with a solution. Instead of boarding an empty train like I originally thought we should do, we get on a regular civilian train. When the doors open, people will flood out of the train, forcing the control officer to exit his booth and try to usher people back into the train. It would also give our operative cover to enter the booth."

David approached mastermind and briefed him on the plan he had in mind. "So, right outside the the Grand Central 42nd street subway station, there's a control room for incoming and outgoing trains, basically, to make sure they don't crash. Its hooked up with the same fibre optic cables that link the Chrysler Building to to net. I've developed a device that can act as a wireless jump station, and allow me to access the Chrysler Building network. Of course, I wont have admin privileges, but I can still do some pretty important stuff, like drop in a program that would crack the security for the databases they use for pretty much everything. I might be able to access the data on the positions of certain ERTs, as well as access some other high clearance data. That's a huge IF though. Now, in order for us to do what we need to do in order to make this work, we need to be precise. Any trip up, and the ERTs will catch whoever goes in. I can set up a maintenance order for one of the circuits outside the control box. Whoever we send in can take a subway to the control room, and the subway will stop outside the room. After that, they will need to somehow get the control room official out of the room. They'll then have to break in, find the wire box behind a few of the pipes, strip the wires, hook up the device, and then get the hell out of there. After the door opens, an alarm will go off. All the trains will stop, but I can fix that with a few commands. They will have 35 seconds to hook up the device, get on a train, and get out."

David turns back towards Spencer, listening to her proposal. "Sounds good. I could schedule some maintenance outside the booth. Unfortunately, only high level maintenance personnel can do maintenance in the booth, so whoever we send in will have to get the controller out of the booth, and then break in. When whoever goes in opens the wire box, it will trigger an alarm. You will have about 35 seconds to install the hardware I give you, get out of the booth, get on a train, and get out before the ERTs are down the tunnel. How's it sound mastermind, you up for running a preliminary mission?" David looked back towards Mastermind.
