OK... I was having a time where i wasnt playing a lot of minecraft at all... I was getting a little bored of it and i was grounded so one day i decided to play again... I saw the new update and logged in. I started to play around with the new update. So I go on and create a new world and all i can think is. "WHAT HAPPENED?!"
I was so mad with mojang. Its a whole different game!!!!! I really dont like the new update and I dont think ill play minecraft alot. Mojang is overdoing it. I cant get on any servers because no one wants to go to this crappy update. I wanted to get this off my chest and see what other people thought. Sincerely, And possibly goodbye, tailsdoll27
Really dude? Shut the hell up. I'm most likely getting another infraction for this.

Just the facts of life. There will always be that guy who thinks Minecraft is ruined with each and every update.

Easy, man. These forums are really getting to you.
I'm fairly sure he was actually posting a supportive statement to you. A 'backup' to your post, so to speak.

That's a real funny joke.

There has never been any reason to go far away from spawn (or your 'home base' if your spawn was no good). Pretty much every resource besides the ores and minerals can get easily generated, and only diamond has the distinction of being rare enough to have the possibility of needed to move away from your comfort zone (after a long period of heavy mining).

Him and everyone else for the past few months.
Most people seem to have been able to cope with such a radical concept.

Good.
The new explosion sound is fine. The SSSSSSssss is the part people really remembered.

Minecraft is a completely different beast than, say, Skyrim (which has pretty much been updating every couple weeks, btw). It is no where near a 'completed' game, hell, I'm confident most would agree it shouldn't even be out of beta.
Minecraft will be in development for a long time, my friend.

Your fanboyism does you no credit; you speak of Notch as if he's the messiah of gaming. I'd say more but I'll leave my personal feelings about Notch out of this.
I may despise most of the complaints I've seen here but I'll be damned if I don't think they have a right as paying customers to want something more from what they purchased. If Notch wasn't aware of that he wouldn't have made the development process a public affair.

>not wanting things to change
I... what?
These are not mutually exclusive, and in no way conflict with each other.

For your uses, PC is the clear choice.
