posted a message on Ambient Cave mobs and sound
    Hi people of the interweb,

I have been a Minecraft player for not to long and I've been the kind of person who likes adventure in video games, not the linear-style platformers or the movie game spinoffs, something to ease my mind off of when I get tired. Anyways, back to the topic.

My biggest dissapointment in mining is seeing all of the familiar faces trying to see what ores I found. :SSSS: .
If there were actually cave related mobs adding on to the cave spider, I would be pretty happy. Mobs I would like to see in caves sometime soon are Bats, Cave Crabs (some crab species do live solely in caves).

    Mob behavior possibilities
Bats: Bats hang on the ceilings in caves and if the player gets close and does an action other than moving, the bat will attack the player with fast attacks.

Cave Crabs: Cave Crabs will be commonly docile towards you, and only will occur between levels 30 and 60 in caverns only. When provoked, they will walk slow, but deal lots of damage.

Since my next topic is closely related to this one, I will put it on the same thread.

I've walked in caves before and I haven't heard anything except the occasional distant roar or the glimmering sound. If I were to, I would add more sounds to the caves, like water dripping, lava churning, crumbles of rock on the walls, etc. it would add a little bit more of a lively atmosphere to the game, along with my favorite (not) friends. :SSSS: :Spider: :Zombie: :Skeleton: .

Tell me your opinion below, and tell me what you think

posted a message on (Updated) Automatic stone farm design
    Hi guys,
I fixed a problem with photos not uploading, and now I am showing screenshots of the mechanism I made.
Fig 1:This is the basic layout of the generator. building a 6x7 platform should do the trick. 5x6 is the LEAST you can go.

Fig 2: This is the basic mainframe of the structure, and is how the interior should be.

Fig 3: Make sure that you make a pit for water to fall in to so it does not spread.

Fig 4&5: Make a circle of Fully delayed redstone repeaters and two wherever shown

    and...

Fig 6&7: Place a material block on top of the piston and at the edge of the machine.

Finally, when you're ready, give the circuit a charge, place the lava, and TADA!

Enjoy a never-ending supply of smooth stone so you can build your stone-brick mansion faster!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, but if you want to, use this design to your heart's desire and leave a notch or a diamond if you really are nice. Thanks for reading, and have a good day.

posted a message on Strength Tuner Idea
I have played minecraft often and I have myself wondering (whenever I toy with redstone) why everything plays or is activated at a single loudness for noteblocks and range for dispensers, and speed for pistons. There should be a block where you can toggle redstone devices to have a certain power, speed, loudness, etc. I could not make this mod because I can't professionally code anything :P.

A crafting recipe could be like this:
    L=Lever
    R=Redstone
    P= Wooden planks

    L R
    P P

I'm not requesting anybody to make this, but if somebody wants to take the time to make this, please on the post for the mod include my name in a credits place as inspiration.

    Have a nice day, ( :SSSS: )

posted a message on The Hunger Meter
    Hi Minecraftforum users,
I am making this thread out of curiosity and wonder, but I have a few questions about saturation and exhaustion.
I have a basic understanding of saturation, it is the variable that is set when someone eats food that will determine the next time they will get hungry, but I don't get the variable completely. My questions are:
    • Can food saturation level be stacked with different foods eaten? :Bacon: :-( ): :Bread:
    • Why do meat and bread have higher saturation than other foods, when they are the most easy to obtain? :Pig:

Exhaustion is something I know close to nothing about, all the information I can gather with it is it relates with doing exhausting tasks makes your saturation go down quicker, and hunger bar go down faster.
    • Does exhaustion relate precisely to the hunger bar, or is it more involved? :Bacon:
    • Does mining make you the most hungry out of any minecraft activity? :DPA:
    • Does placing blocks affect exhaustion? :grass:
    • Does fighting a mob increase exhaustion instantly? Or over time? :|): :DSWORD:
    Any help would be nice
    Thanks

posted a message on Mac's Mods! - Blaze Tools, Compacted Blocks & Extra Options!
    Hi Mac!
I've Downloaded all of your mods save for Extra options for one major reason.
Whenever I press the open to LAN, It doesn't open Lan, It opens the Extra Options Tab. It disturbs me a little bit, but I know you are good at updating, because you were one of the first mod developers to get their mod posted on the minecraft 1.3.1 mod update list.
Good Post though, A Poster on the front of your page showing all that your mods have to offer is my suggestion.

    Anyways, Good mods. :iapprove: :Diamond:

posted a message on Suggestions for Minecraft 1.4
I have been talking with my friends and recently we came up with a few ideas for another minecraft update.
What if these things were added to the game?

+Tnt in dispensers will now shoot out primed, and spawn eggs will launch and spawn the mob chosen
+Trading system balance, either better trade value, or emeralds are more common
+Bone Meal grows Cows, Chickens, Sheep, and Pigs into adults when clicked on.
+A Single Layer of bedrock at the bottom of the world
+Water reaches 6 blocks away from the source, not 7
    +All the other Mojang stuff
~Fix the bug when water pushes you into a solid wall (odd Glitch)
    -Remove Herobrine

Feel free to make suggestions and comments on these things, but please, don't say: RoFl MoJaNg WiLl NeVeR AdD ThEsE LoL Or anything like that. I appreciate a clean answer.

posted a message on [1.3.1] List of mods that have updated to 1.3.1 [Optifine!] [ModLoader!]
    Hi Googie!
This is probably one of the most helpful lists I have seen since the release of minecraft 1.3.1.
I would like it if you kept this up, and if you continue this to 1.4, you will be my hero.
    Thanks. :Diamond:
