Korok posted a message on Copper Door IdeaPosted in: SuggestionsThe copper door is being added. If the door is weathered, maybe it would act like an iron door, needing redstone to open it. If it isn't weathered, it would open normally.

Derov posted a message on Blueprints?Posted in: SuggestionsI have been watching a bunch of technical minecrafters and in the technical community mods like litematica are really popular and I understand why. My proposal was to create a system that makes blueprints at a cost that could be shared like litematica where there would be a folder for them just like world saves and resource packs but also a local storage in the world file for them. Essentially the could work similar to maps with the exception that the cost would probably be more in survival worlds and also 2 types of blocks would have to be added that would mark the corners however there is already similar infrastructure in the games code with structure blocks. Thoughts and feed back on how this could be implemented in a way that woud feel vanilla while still having the advantage that allow players who are not the most advanced with technical Minecraft get their foot in the door?

It's cool Bedrock gets capes, but Java was entirely left out. Will Java players be able to get them later, or with our Java and Bedrock accounts having already been merged, have access to our Bedrock cape inventory from Bedrock on Java?
EDIT: We ended up getting the cape on Java. Thank you, Mojang!

I think this would be fun so long as he doesn't grief/ alter the world. Just watching in the distance or at the end of caves or something stalk-ish.

It's awful. In the Realm me and my irl friends play none of us wish to be told what we can or cannot say regardless of whether it's in chat, or item names. Nobody even uses the in-game chat anymore since this was added, we've just moved all discussion to Discord. With how overly sensitive mods tend to be nobody wants to take the chance at having their account smited for something ridiculous.
For Official servers, or even as an optional feature for server hosts it could be a good thing however.

It's nice to see that there are more options, I just wish that Java could see some of these as well. Definitely a hard pass on the pride one though, no hate, just tired of being clubbed over the head with the topic everywhere.

An enderman repellant would be amazing. I've had enderman vandalizing the shore line of the desert island I took over to such an extent it needs to be repaired every second in-game day. For an item to be enderman repellant I think having a significant amount of range would be ideal.
A cool feature to add on to that I think would be allowing the lantern to have the same repelling effect through solid blocks, so that if a purple lantern doesn't suit what they've built they could just put it under ground and still keep the benefit of it's repellant abilities.

Colored lanterns would be better. No need to restrict it to just a couple colors when could have more options instead.

I saw a screenshot earlier which reminded me of the archeology mechanic that was shown at Minecon Live, and thought that this would be really cool to see added as part of it. The screenshot in question is this one:
During an excavation you'd have a chance at finding the skulls of extinct creatures such as a dragon, or maybe a smaller version of the giant fossils that can already be found, or even just smaller creatures. While these items serve no direct purpose beyond decorative uses I think they'd be a really fun building item, and maybe even serve as inspiration for some builds, or just increase the general appreciation of irl archeology.

Maybe there could be a more common smaller structure like an abandoned waystation that would some how point you in the general direction of a Nether fortress?

Running servers is a service if they let us run them for free they'd be operating at a loss for revenue. A free realm would be incredible, but isn't realistic. If you've got a decent PC you can create your own server and run it off your PC.

You're probably right as the End is very barren. I like that it's a wasteland and I think that it should remain as such, but it would be an improvement to add ruins or minerals to mine for just something to make it worth trekking.
