Explosives Plus v3.3 for 1.2.5:
You'll need Forge for the client as well as for the server. Keep in mind that this is a rough port and crashes/bugs may riddle your gameplay. If you could email me at [email protected] with bugs or errors you've encountered, I could take a look at them. In future builds these problems should go away, but for now this is it. I'll also be upgrading to v3.4 of Ex+ soon. You should be able to just place the jars in your mods folder for installation. Make sure you have the sound files on the client. We are base-class free!
Download build 2 server (vanilla only) -- Lots of RAM recommended, I'll add Bukkit support when stability and safety has increased
Build 2 client download available here
You may have to wait for Pheenixm to update the topic.
Know Bugs:
AC130 does not work
Genesis bomb does not work/crashes
Mind control and explosive vests are buggy
You must relog to see damage from the BiomeBuster
Varios sounds and particles don't work yet
Email me at [email protected] to report bugs not listed here
WiduX has taken over Pam's Mods, http://www.minecraft.../topic/1318130- . I don't know how good he is, but the mods look playable. Keep an eye on him for me.
Mods in Queue:
Working on:
SandwichCraft - 20% - Step 3
Here's the basic outline I try to follow when porting mods:
1. Get permission from author
2. Decompile mod (Skipped if the author was kind enough to give me the source)
3. Set up the mod in a client workspace, then prep it for the server
4. Copy all necessary files to a server workspace
5. Fix server problems
6. Add packets when needed
7. Server testing
8. Repeat steps 5-7 until the mod is ready
9. Compiling and distribution
10. Port server version to Bukkit
For the fastest response, email me at [email protected] or PM me with suggestions. Make sure you include a link to the mod's topic, that the mod is up to date with Minecraft, and it is not on this list.
Old topic:
Important:
I did not make these mods, their creators did and will be credited by a link to the original mod's topic and will be named after the following lines: "Originally By:" I have permission from all of the modders to redistribute their mods to the public. I can only do this if I provide an extension for the client side that will make it compatible for SMP. That way, their original work will need to be downloaded from them, and then the multiplayer extension from me. The previous statement does not apply whatsoever to the multiplayer version of the mods (because you don't install client classes on servers). For all of you who want to make mod packs, you must get permission from the original creator to include his/her single player versions in your pack, and you also must get permission from me to include my multiplayer version in your pack. Otherwise, it is illegal to do so, and you could suffer multiple law suits.Dear Everyone,
I'm sorry I wasn't around for the last few weeks; two weeks of standardized testing and a huge poetry project. Now that I'm here, though, I intend to update EVERYTHING I possibly can. Not for 1.2.5, though. I'm afraid I missed the rush there. I'll be all over the next version, though, I promise.
Until then,
Jsn_man
P.P.S. I will be porting Explosives Plus to 1.2.5 soon.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.2.3 of Pam's mods are again here: http://goo.gl/UhzBv . I'll try to update this thread later.
I updated all of Pam's mods, but I haven't time to update this thread. They're available here, though: http://goo.gl/UhzBv
Before you post about an error, keep in mind that MysticOres will not start on Bukkit, and neither will any other that adds a new armor. I'm fixing it.
My official statement about Mo' Creatures: http://www.minecraft...2#entry12025522
I made a website for a school project! It has my first applet witch took me a few hours to make (since it was my first one, and I had to rewrite the engine three times to make it more efficient). Check it out here: http://goo.gl/vadsz
Everything will soon be moved over to http://mcportcentral.co.za soon, so you can start making an account there.
Hello forum users. My name is Jsn_man, and I have ported mods from single player to multiplayer. Of coarse, I get permission to distribute them to users so that they can use them for their servers. If you have a request for a mod, please leave a comment with the mod's name, a link to it's topic, and a brief description. I'll PM the creator for permission, and we'll see where it goes from there. Hopefully, they will say yes and it can end up on this page. If not, there's nothing I can do. Now, let's see the mods:
Are you a decent Youtuber? If so, I could use some video reviews for these mods (only do this if you stress the multiplayer-ness of them, like you use them on a server) and some installation tutorials couldn't hurt. Thank you.

This mod allows you to use bones to create weapons, tools, armor, and replacement miscellaneous items. Ever went down into a deep cave only to forget sticks for torches, arrows, or bows? Forget about that from now on!
Bone Weapons are treated as Stone for what they can dig but have a durability of 155 (like Tin from EarthCraft), while Bone Armor has the durability and protection of Chainmail.
As of version 1.5, bones can now be used to craft EVERYTHING that previously needed sticks, including normal (wood, stone, iron, etc) tools with bone handles, bone stick signs, bone ladders, etc. You can also use two bone in the normal recipe pattern to make shears.

This mod adds a new wild plant and crop into the game--Cotton! Cotton plants can be found pretty much everywhere but on sand/stone (like flowers). Breaking a cotton plant will either give you cotton (most chance), a cotton seed (less chance), or nothing (least chance). They spawn a bunch, so don't dispair if you break one and get nothing! Cotton can be crafted into normal Minecraft string! Wild cotton plants from this mob do not replace Hogofwar's naturally spawning flax plants.
String can now be made into woven cloth, allowing you to make cotton armor (equal to leather). Also, this mod is compatiable with Hogofwar's PeacefulPack's Flax! Remember, woven cloth makes Cotton Armor but his cloth from flax fibres will make normal leather armor. If his mod is installed, you will also be able to convert on a 1:1 basis woven cloth into his cloth just in case you feel the need.[Not in my version because his mods aren't in multiplayer...] Woven Cloth can now be made into Wool!
As of 1.4, ClothCraft now has carpets! Made with a wool block of any dye color and a string, these flat, small blocks can be places on any horizontal surface.
As of 1.5, you can now make Cotton Fertilizer that will grow cotton crops. This is made with one cotton and a bone. Recipe shape: Item is on top, bone is on bottom. You get four fertilizer.
You can now use bonemeal to sometimes spawn cotton bushes with the tallgrass and flowers.

This mod adds in a ton of stuff for desert life! Craft cactus tools (wood strength), sandstone tools (stone strength), and glass steel tools (gold strength)! Craft cactus sticks from cactus blocks and make everything in the game that normally requires sticks with this new item, that includes all the new tools and all the old ones as well! Use cactus blocks to make everything in the game that normally requires planks as well!
Also included in this mod is 14 new plants that grow on sand including red and tan colored grasses and green and reddish-brown small cacti. One of these plants, denoted by its red spots, drops cactus fruit to eat or cactus fruit seeds to plant! Plant cactus fruit cactus seeds in normal tilled soil, like a normal crop. It has three stages of growth, like all my other crops.
NOTE: I did not give any new textures to old items that can be made with cactus or sandstone--this is to save on block IDs. Just because a sandstone furnace would look nice doesn't mean I need to waste you block IDs on one.
As of 1.2, you can now make Cactus Fruit Fertilizer that will grow cactus fruit crops. This is made with one cactus fruit and a bone. Recipe shape: Item is on top, bone is on bottom. You get four fertilizer.

This mod adds a ton of new earth and metal related blocks and items with the express purpose of having a mod like this that uses as little Block IDs (7) and terrain sprite indices (0) as possible. There are a lot of other ore and decorative block mods out there but almost none use metadata to condense down their Block ID footprint and none that I can find use Minecraft Forge to completely get rid of terrain sprite indice usage.

This mod adds a new wild bush and crop into the game--Candleberries along with Candlenut Trees!! Candleberry bushes can be found pretty much everywhere but on sand/stone (like flowers). Breaking a candleberry bush will either give you a candleberry or candleberry seed. If you want to grow more, you need to plant candleberry seeds to grow the candleberry crop like wheat. Candlenut trees are rare but breaking the Candlenut block will always give you a candlenut item or a small chance of a candlenut sapling.
Candleberries/candlenuts can be made into wax*, allowing you to make hardened leather armor (equal to iron), and torches with wax and string. Also, this mod is compatiable with Nandonalt's Beekeeping mod! When his mod is installed, your candleberries/nuts will automatically smelt into his Pressed Wax to use in his recipes (allowing you to make candles instead of torches for one example!). If his mod is installed, you will also be able to convert on a 1:1 basis Candle Wax into Pressed Wax (and vise versa if you uninstall his mod later).[Not on multiplayer...]

This mod is for folks who want either more plant life in Minecraft to add color and variety to the landscape and/or people who want easier access to dyed wool of all colors. This mod will spawn new flowers in unexplored areas or all over with a newly generated map. When using the Painterly texture pack, please make sure to not make your Yellow or Red flowers the same texture as one of my own, else it might get kind of confusing.
Now you can use bonemeal on grass to sometimes spawn Weee! Flower flowers. Huzzah!

Dungeons can contain multiple rooms, corridors & side branches. There is a chance for treasure to be found in the dungeon rooms, and there are even "secret" rooms hidden near the dungeons. These "secret" rooms have a floor made of Lapis Blocks and a Gold Treasure Chest.
Randomly Generated Ancient Ruins.
Most of the time they are buried under the surface, but sometimes they can be found aboveground. Dig underneath these Ancient Ruins to find Buried Treasure!
2 types of Buried Treasure:
Iron Treasure Chests contain mostly common or semi-rare items/blocks. Gold Treasure Chests are harder to find, and contain mostly rare items/blocks, including diamonds, clay, cookies, etc.

Server Rules & Life in New Bolton
Rules:
(If you do these more than once, you WILL be banned)
- Excessive swearing
- Racism, Sexism or other hate chat
- Chat Spamming
- Griefing (if block protection doesn't get implemented)
- Place Griefing (placing blocks all over, if block protection isn't implemented)
PRO TIP: Under ground level is free turf. Destroying Drug labs and hollowing out your basement are completely legal.
- Combat Logging (logging in/out to avoid death)
- Conviction Suicide (Suicide to avoid arrest)
- Logging to Avoid Arrest (If you log during an investigation, you will be assumed guilty and serve the punishment)
- Flymod, X-Ray, Hacks and Duplication Glitches. (VERY STRICT)
Laws:
(These are in-game rules; you will be arrested for these)
- Drugs or illegal substances found on your person/property
- Drug plants in your possession
- Killing a police officer on any grounds besides the projects
- Killing a civilian in sight of a police officer
- Resisting arrest from a police officer
When arrested, you will be teleported by an admin to the court. You will have a trial and be sentenced. If you are proven guilty, you will automatically be teleported to jail for your time. No phone calls :tongue.gif:
You will spawn in the Station. The Station is a block/life protected small area that connects the ghetto with the nicer parts of town. You can take the subway to the slums, or the Uptown/Downtown border.
Mod Features
You have more than enough support to make a team to assemble an URBAN-CRAFT mod. This mod would have everything that helps turn this server into a true masterpiece.
Money:
1,5,10,15,20,50,100 and 500 dollar bills are currency. These stay on your body when killed.
Drugs:
Well, duh :tongue.gif: You can grow drug plants and make labs for crack. The different drugs are: crack, weed, shrooms, heroine, and pcp. After using drugs for the first time, a bar will appear above your hunger bar. It will be green leaves instead of drumsticks. The effects upon using any of them involve cloudy vision and a rocking motion.
Weed= 2 leaves
Joint= 4 leaves
Crack=4 leaves
Shrooms=4 1/2 leaves
Heroine=5 leaves
PCP= 6 leaves
Weapons:
Baton
All officers receive a baton. This does the damage of a stone sword with the durability of diamond. You don't replace these often. This is a cop's standard weapon.
9mm Handgun
These are issued to 'Recruits' of the police. They use 9mm magazines, which fire 10 rounds before breaking. Each bullet does 1 1/2 hearts. They can also be obtained illegally by gangs.
Tazer
These are issued to Detectives and above. They fire a 'prong' just like a fishing pole. If it hits a target, they can't move for as long as the prong is extended. Once it is unextended, another two seconds of paralysis occur before the criminal can move again. These are ideal for arresting people.
Handcuffs
These are issued to Detectives and above. When holding right-click on someone, a bar appears that takes a few seconds to fill. It only fills so long as the pointer remains on the target. If it fills, the suspect is sent to a holding room immediately to await trial.
.45 cal Handgun
This is a slightly more powerful handgun. They are issued to 'Officers'. It does 3 hearts for every bullet. Magazines hold 6 rounds. These are military issued only.
AK-47
These are used by gangs only. They fire rapidly with a 30 round magazine. Each bullet does 1 & 1/2 hearts of damage.
P.S. Please add an aim-down-sights option, I get sick of noscoping :tongue.gif:
Food:
Only shops can cook and obtain special varieties of food. Bags of chips, granola bars, boxes of various fruits, such as mangos and strawberries They can be grown or obtained through shipments of supplies that occasionally enter the town.
Bagged Food
Chips and other junk food will be available cheap for little hunger replenishment.
Fruits
A variety of fruits will be found at market stands in the slums. They can be grown on plants and found in shipments.
Legal Addictions
Different alcohol and tobacco products can be bought legally to help curb your addiction. Maybe using these in place of drugs will slowly make your addiction bar get smaller, until it doesn’t exist. Stronger alcohols could be illegal and only sold on the black market.
Downtown
Housing:
Very expensive. Rooms are in tall buildings with balconies. VIPs and admins get a free crib here. Life protected in your room.
Streets:
Heavily lit with constant patrols and nicely paved roads. On roads, you are life protected.
Drug Distribution:
Little to no drug farming or selling. The gang members who do get places downtown use their house for hiding out and laying low.
Uptown
Housing:
The inexpensive end for players escaping the slums is full of small one-story houses. Larger two-story houses are found on the more expensive side and can be rented for half price by cops.
Streets:
The streets are normal roads with ok lighting and police patrols during the day.
Drug Distribution:
This area is used for high-profile selling and some farming. It’s fairly common to find drugs in this area.
The Slums
Housing:
The housing is small, one room houses made of sandstone or cobble.
Streets:
Most all houses are on small dirt roads that crisscross through the slums. All residencies can be accessed through alleys in between.
Drug Distribution:
Booming area for drug farming and cheap selling. There are many farms under houses.
Jobs:
Civilians:
Unemployed
A lot like most Americans nowadays :tongue.gif: You have yet to find a job and spend what little money you have for food. You most likely live in the slums.
Lawyer:
You work at a Law Firm and must apply to get this job. You are an attorney for either the server admins (prosecution) or the players (defense). You get more money for winning when you are defense, but your stakes are higher.
Shopkeeper:
You work in a Shop (derp) and must apply to get a Shopkeeper’s License. You collect food and other resources (or gain it from shipments) and sell it back for the moneys :tongue.gif:
Architect:
You reside in an Architect’s Office and work with the admins to design new sections of town and renovate old ones.
Construction Worker:
You build new sections of town and help fix things. You will not find work often, so it’s best to join this job when there are lots of opportunities.
Realtor:
You work with Real Estate to buy and sell buildings and land. Good paying but not a constant income.
Gangs:
Gang Member:
The most basic of the ‘Gang’ jobs; you are the grunts. You take simple drug deliveries across The Slums and knock off bounties. You are most likely to die, but the big jobs come after this.
Farmer
You make farms of illegal substances and give the profit to your gang.
Sellers
This is a well-paying, dangerous job. You take the shipments and sell them. You get the big bucks for a price.
Guards
You are the elites. You go with the Sellers on shipments and make sure you don’t get turned on. If someone kills your seller, they’re in for a world of pain.
Gang Leaders
You call the shots. You sit like a president on your throne, and others follow what you say. The gang falls on your shoulders. You are your own boss.
Others:
Independent Contractor
This isn’t a well desired job. You take whatever you can get. Whether it’s collecting random junk for a player, going undercover for the cops or doing the dirty work for a gang, this is a tough job. You pledge yourself to no one and shouldn’t keep this job for long.
Dealer:
Dealers are Farmers and Sellers independent from a gang. They buy shipments from gangs or independent sources and resell it for a profit. They also have small farms. It’s a very dangerous job.
That's all I've got for now. I've already edited this a few times, and will continue to add stuff to this post. Hope you like my ideas :tongue.gif:

Hello there, Minecraft forums! This is the Minepocalypse Mod. This isn't be a modpack, full of mods that just adds a reteztured, but an actual mod that generates wastelands, is solely based on survival, and have so much more. Once this mod is done, it will most likely need Risugami's Modloader, GUI API, and AudioMod. Now, here you're wondering, "What the heck is this mod about already?!"
Haha, well, since you guys are so forceful, this mod is simply a mod that removes the basic world of MineCraft and actually forces you to survive. Thirst Bars, Moodlets, Food Shortages, stuff like that are all included in this mod. Oh wait, did I mention Zombies? Yeah, there are Zombies. Not just a simple thing that allows the normal zombies to spawn more, but different types of zombies. Now, did you think you were the only normal (to an extent) human in this Post-Apocalyptic world? Nope.
There are actually people who survived, not just you, you selfish bimbo. You'll learn more about the people in the, "Mobs" spoiler in this topic.
Well, that's all we really thought up for now, so, time for the spoilers! :biggrin.gif:
Mobs:
There are many kinds of mobs added into The Minepocalypse. But, to organize everything a bit better, we've added two categories. Non-Zombies and Zombies.
First we'll look into Non-Zombies.
Non-Zombies:
People
People are just like you! Dirty people roaming the apocalyptic earth, trying to find some form of civilization, hoping to wake up from a terrible nightmare. Most of them end up being Zombie Chow.
These guys don't do much, but if you attack them they'll attack you back! When you trade with these guys, most of the time you'll find cheap things, maybe a gun or two once in a while, sometimes a person will have something rare, so keep a look out! People drop light armor, sometimes ammo, very rarely a gun, maybe some wood and torches.
Health: 10 hearts
Damage w/o weapons: 1 heart.
Speed: Steve speed.
Traders
You won't find these guys anywhere else but in a camp. They won't attack you back if you attack them, but everyone around you will. The Trader is basically your stop'n shop. He has the basic things, most of the time he'll have weapons, maybe have some rare items in stock. Their shipment changes everytime you stay in a camp for around a minecraft day, or when you go to bed in a camp at night. Traders do not drop anything.
Sometimes, instead of a normal looking camp, there will be something called a Bandit Camp. It looks just like a normal camp from a distance, but if you get closer, it's actually just a camp filled with Bandits. You cannot trade with Bandits, and they are hostile mobs. Most of the time they won't have guns, but one out of a bunch in a bandit camp will. If you die by one of these, if you go back and kill the remaining bandits, one of them will drop all your old things. These guys usually drop ammo, guns, household weapons, ect.
Health: 10 hearts
Damage w/o weapons: 2.5 hearts.
Speed: Steve speed.
And now we move onto the only enemy type in the mod, the Zombies.
Zombies:
The only real hostile mobs that spawn will be Zombies, almost no other hostile mobs are in this mod. There are many kinds of Zombies in The Minepocalypse. The ones we are making (and we may add more as this mod progresses.) are listed below. Zombies are all the people who died and came back to life. Some even got mutated into special types of zombies. The most common type of zombies, however, are the normal ones you find in MineCraft. Now, a twist to the fact that there are now Zombies, is that Zombies spawn in the daytime now! They're not as strong as in the night, but they're still there. What zombies drop is being debated upon.
Athletes:
These Zombies were people who were athletic and fast. They used to be very good athletes who ran every day in the old world. But, now they're fast zombies that only run for brains. Their appearence is a football jersy, pants, and a football helmet. When you get hit by an athlete, you fly back like being hit by a sprint-powered punch.
Health: Zombie health.
Damage: 2 hearts.
Speed: 1.5x zombie speed.
Crawlers
Crawlers are zombies that just loved to trip in the old world. They're appearence is a zombie without any legs. These zombies are a bit slower then normal zombies, but can climb walls.
Health: 7.5 hearts.
Damage: 1.5 hearts.
Speed: .8x zombie speed.
Spitters
Spitters are tall-ish zombies that are able to spit out spitter goo upon the player. Upon hitting the ground or the player, it creates a 3x3 or 5x5 radius covered in spitter goo. When walking in spitter goo, it makes the player move slower and upon being in the goo every second it has a chance of poisoning the player with spitter poison.
Health: 14 hearts.
Damage: Spitter Poison does the same amount of damage poison spiders do, but is half the time.
Speed: Zombie speed.
Buffs
Buffs are the fat, bloated guys you see on the couch watching cartoons and eating chips all day. They're fat, bigger zombies that are very slow but do a LOT of damage. These fatties can even break through blocks slowly!
Health: 20 hearts.
Damage: 4 hearts.
Speed: .5x zombie speed.
Midgers
Do I really have to explain this? Midgers are little kids! They wear baseball caps and have no pants on, just like normal kids in the real world! You'll never find these guys alone. They always spawn in a pair or in 3 or 4 midgers. They are very fast, and can go through 1 block openings.
Health: 4 hearts.
Damage: 1 heart.
Speed: 2.25x zombie speed.
Zombie Bugs
These bugs are very rare mobs to find. They are only found in normal camps. These guys have the likeness silverfish. Only 2 or 3 spawn in one camp at a time. However, these guys can actually take over people and traders and then, after a few seconds of groaning and silent screaming, they become Hosts. Hosts are basically lower attack and defense versions of people. (Traders get the attack/health/defense of people when transformed.) You can either kill the Hosts, or kill the bug on them. Killing the hosts will kill them forever, (traders will spawn shortly after, though.) but killing the bugs will revert them back into their original selves. Killing the hosts will also get the bugs to latch off and search for new hosts.
The Bugs
Health: 2 hearts.
Speed: Silverfish speed
Hosts
Health: 10 hearts.
Damage: 1.5 hearts.
Speed: Steve speed.

Hello, Chaps and Chappettes, it's Gamechap and Bertie here! YES- oh wait, its just me. Well, hi everybody, its Thechickencowproject here, call me Cow if you'd like. This is my idea for a mod made as a tribute to the Youtuber and commentator Gamechap and his pal Bertie. Their characters are 18th century Brits in the world of Minecraft. This mod will contain many of the fictional items that are important to fans, along with mob versions of Gamechap and Bertie themselves.

Malts
Used in making whiskey. Recipe for basic malt is:

Full English Meals!
A Full meal consists of a main dish, grain, side, and drink. They are guaranteed to fill your entire food bar and give you special abilities.
As not all of the food is based on Gamechap and Bertie themselves, I may make them separate, an english food mod, and a Gamechap mod. They will be on the same thread and will be downloadable together.
Mobs:
Gamechap
Is passive until attacked. Says random quotes and drops golden sword or clock on death.
Bertie
Walks around w/ TNT in hand and says random quotes. If provoked, places TNT which automatically ignites. When holding coconuts in hand, he follows you. If fed coconuts,he will defend you by punching. Does extra damage when wielding a melon. Give Bertie a melon by dropping it at his feet, he'll pick it up.
Folks of ACME
Are heavily armed and attack on sight. They are found in ACME buildings and their drops are unknown.
Uncle Bob (Bob's Your Uncle)
Appears in front of you randomly and drops an item, then vanishes. Very rare.

-Champagne
-More to do w/ crumpets, biscuits and pancakes
