Please don't take this as an attack, but you've said that before for previous updates as well. Mojang has proven historically that the first snapshot has the bulk of the content, the second snapshot has 'A' feature or two, and the rest are bug fixes. IF by some miracle they release something new in the next four months (which is my estimate for how long it will seemingly take them) then I will admit I was wrong and be absolutely shocked.

...I'm just not seeing it, sorry. Granted that *most* of the stuff comes early in the update, no question there. But there's generally a trickle of other stuff afterward too, not counting minor updates like Frostburn or Buzzy Bees. In the case of Village & Pillage, we were left guessing for quite some time what the villager work stations would actually do.

And in the case of Update Aquatic, as I said before, pretty much as soon as we got everything mentioned at Minecon, pre-releases started. Granted, we don't have everything mentioned at Minecon for 1.16 yet! But it's closer than I remember happening in the first couple updates in 1.13 and 1.14.

I will admit that Mojang has disappointed me in the past by leaving things unfinished that I predicted more detail for, though - notably the Pillager Outposts, which still seem way too bare. Like other mortals, I sometimes guess wrong.

In any case, we'll find out soon enough! Thank you for your civil tone in disagreeing.

EDIT: Oh! Perhaps you're referring to some things I said about 1.15? Yes, you're right that I dropped the ball there, I didn't fully grasp at first that it was intended to be a minor update.

Hi! I am a new member here. I just registered. This is my first post. It's about Minecraft 1.15. I am very excited about it! There is so much new stuff! Bees and a new nether! I can't wait! How do you feel about Minecraft 1.15?

No new Nether yet, that's 1.16. 1.15 is small but looks fun.

posted a message on Honey bottles make every food source obsolete

Even before the change 8 weeks ago, honey was exactly equivalent to mutton, which stacks to 64. So it doesn't seem as game-breaking as all that.

posted a message on How many Bees in a Hive/Nest?

According to the wiki the hive stores a list of the entities inside it. So there may not be an easy way to get their number by commands.

It seems like a relatively easy thing for Mojang to add, though, so you could try requesting it.

The Nether Update will be 1.16 actually as confirmed on Twitter.

Huh. So 1.15 really will be just bees and bugs, then.

1.16 is shaping up to be amazing, though!

Hmm. I just noticed that 19w36a added y-values to biome information. This opens up the possibility of underground biomes, among other things.

Perhaps 1.16 will be the cave update, and 1.15 is laying the groundwork for it.

3d biomes would also open up the Nether and End to some interesting possibilities.

So... when I open the Minecraft launcher there is no 1.15 option to download it. I play on java edition on a Mac. If you can help please respond

    It won't be labeled 1.15, it's snapshot 19w34a.

Yes, they definitely have to be smaller than parrots, they are just a little overweight.

Well, what do you expect - they eat honey all the time, it's pure sugar! :)

Bees were definitely unexpected. Honey is a surprisingly good food - equal to mutton. I hope there's more things to use it for besides crafting into sugar, though - we already have sugar cane.

All this is undoubtedly a sideline for 1.15, though - they'll be saving the main theme for MineCon.

He has stopped with no promise of ever returning.

However, he has handed off the updating and maintenance of Thaumcraft to a team of modders.
