posted a message on Face Emulator (Fully Adjustable)

A while ago I managed to create a fully adjustable face emulator using redstone lamps, so I figured I should share it here.Front ViewTop ViewA more detailed look at the circuitry

It's broken up into 3 segments: A mouth (shown below in diamond blocks), a nose/upper lip (shown below as the iron block), and 2 eyebrows (shown below in gold blocks). In the mouth, every single lamp is controllable. You can control whether or not the nose/upper lip is on/off, and the eyebrows can be individually toggled.

A detailed look at what can be controlled

posted a message on 15x15 Array Storage

The main takeaway from this isn't the storage system, which is ginormous, slow, and expensive. The main takeaway is the proof-of-concept this thing serves as.This thing has 225 distinct outputs that are all accessible from an interface 3 blocks wide.

Lecterns are amazing when paired with redcoders. Redstone now has the capacity to transmit much more complex information (15 different outputs instead of just 2).

This is perhaps the most ridiculous storage system yet. It is totally impractical and super expensive, but it does show the power of lecterns. You flip to the pages you want on both lecterns, which selects shulker box from the system like coordinates.User InterfaceThe Retrieved Shulker BoxThe orange circuits are redcoders (recently fixed for 1.16), the light blue line is an elongated redcoder, the yellow line simply preserves signal strength, the green circuit is an AND gate to detect if a shulker box is missing, the black circuit is an idiot-proofing system, and the blue line is where your input gets sent in. The glass towers and lines are for item transport.Side ViewFront-on View

posted a message on Piston Analog Clock (with different hands)

Miraculously enough, it doesn't look like 1.16 broke it.

    I'm amazed...

posted a message on Piston Analog Clock (with different hands)

I managed to create a piston analog clock with 2 different sizes of clock hands. It is powered by 2 piston feed-tapes out the back, which turn every time a hopper-clock goes off (it is not synced to the Minecraft day/night cycle). The hour hand turns on the lamp it is pointing to, and I think I made it small-ish. The clock can sit flush with the wall, and It took a lot of hair-pulling to get it to work. Anyways, enjoy!
