Debating that in my mind. On one hand, senior year is kicking me pretty hard, on the other it would be nice to get back to atlas. BTW, guess whos going to state next year?

Alright, hello RoA members, random thread viewers, and ShockerTheHunter probably, Air here with an important message regarding the clan, the server and the future.

First off, to those who don't know, the server's map has been changed to a standard, generated map. I'm sure a ton of you are upset because you weren't in the skype chat to vote on this like the rest of us were, and you ended up losing all your stuff because of the map change. Keep in mind, everyone lost stuff, it's sad, it took a while to get, but it's not like it takes forever to get all of it back, and the change of the map has way more beneficial traits than the previous map we had. The previous map had some pretty epic and beautiful features, however, it was downloaded, and therefore doesn't generate stuff like a regular generated map would. We didn't have horses, squids, dungeons, strongholds, and multiple other items because of that. I get there's some people who wanted the old map but a lot of us were unhappy that we couldn't explore, which is a huge factor that makes us want to play Minecraft. So in the end, this map change is for the better, if you don't like it, I'm really sorry. Also don't worry, a new city will be made in the future. Just work with us, please.

Now for the most important announcement of the day. I was talking with Mike, (the leader of this clan) and we both agreed that none of us have the experience, time, or dedication to run a clan this huge. Although we both understood Red's decision to leave the clan world, it was very unexpected when he dubbed us as the new leader. Now, keep in mind, it would be different if this want the small clan it used to be way back in early 2013, but it isn't. We were put in charge of a ton of members, a government we hardly have any understanding on how to run in game, and troubling server issues along with all the members complaining because there's nothing exciting to do. Now the simple solution to this issue would be to either close the thread and ditch the clan, or auction the clan to other people in the clan section, who most likely will ditch it anyway. I've had so much history with this clan, I've been with it since the beginning, and I've seen it grow into what it is today. I didn't think it was right to just let it die because Mike and I just gave up, I want it to go on. So here's what I had in mind. I talked with all the dedicated members about this and everyone agreed on it. First off, we're planning on getting rid of the whole "Republic" business, and just making it Atlas. To those wondering if I've gone crazy by doing this, this clan STARTED OUT as Atlas. Plus, this way, we don't need to focus on the government stuff and we can focus on other issues. Second off, we are no longer going to be a multi-clan server. We talked to Alg and everything, and we decided it will just be a single-clan server as it was in the beginning. This DOES NOT mean we are ditching Halentra, we will remain on there because I'm sure we still have members who enjoy playing on there. Third off, I'm thinking that we're only going to accept and consist of dedicated members. I am lucky enough to have witnessed the acceptance of great people who are still with the clan today. We all got along together, we all could stand each other even though at times we drove each other crazy, and we loved to go on the server just to have fun. Lately, I look at some applications, and I've never really accepted anyone who is dedicated or loves to be in the clan and on the server and just adds more to the great and friendly community we have going. I want to add people who will get along with us. Hopefully some of you will agree with what I'm saying.

Anyway, the reason for these changes is that, all of the veteran members, me included, have not enjoyed playing on the server for a long, long time. We missed the days where we would come on and just goof around, have fun, but still be able to work with the environment of the clan. I enjoyed when me, Hach, Fail, Dazy, Marco, and Ap were the staff of the Allimore server and loved to entertain people, ensure they had fun. Ever since we got into multi-clan, it just added more stress to the staff teams, it prevented them from being involved with the community anymore and making it so that they had fun. I always see people join our clan and then instantly leave because, oh they lost their "diamonds" due to a map reset or inventory glitch and rage quitted, or they were in the clan for a day and said they hated it because nothing happened. I don't want people like that. I don't care if we have a popular clan, I don't care how many views we have in the clan section, I just want to enjoy the game. If it wasn't for the great community we had going, all the friendly faces I've met, I can tell you this, I would've been done with this game way back.

So, in conclusion, whether or not Mike or I actually get possession of the OP instead of Red so we can update it, this clan will just be Atlas, and we will only accept those who are dedicated, want to play to have fun, and will enjoy the community. Of course, we'll still keep the classic routine we've always had going in the clan since the beginning, we'll have cities, jobs, etc. We just won't be a Republic anymore and our standards for accepting members will have changed. I have big things in store for the clan, and by ensuring that these changes happen, it will make it much easier for Mike and I to run the clan despite us being busy and not have it simply dissapear from the clan section forever.

To those members who are not happy with the changes that are in order, you may kindly leave. Nobody will stop you, nobody will call you out. I'm sure there are much better clans out there that will accept you. I'm sorry, but the main priority, in my opinion, of being a clan leader, is to ensure that your group of members have a good time. Lately I look around the clan section, or even this clan before, and everyone is so, so serious about how things go. It's ridiculous. And also this way I can still keep some of my friends still interested in the clan, people we've come to enjoy even though they can drive us insane, including: Hach, Dazy, Marco, Sirr, Colt, Ment, Alg, Aperture, Fail, Mike, KyhleX, Noah, and a lot of others (Sorry if I missed your name, I've been typing this forever now, I'm tired).

Also, if you're an angry member or some member/leader of another clan who would like to comment on my poor decisions as a leader, feel free to send me a PM expressing your feelings, I will be sure to read it and not give a crap.
