I like to give for good work received, but I'll accept that, not a problem. Keep it up, I look forward to every update!

I'm good with the new torches, won't complain there. Also like the furnace changes!

    BTW, do you accept donations?

One of the few problems that I've ever had in tinkers construct has only ever happened in 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 and the problems that whenever I hold any tool in my hand my framerate will drop until I scroll off of it in my hotbar. The biggest issue with this is that it makes the tinkers swords and bows unusable in combat. Does anyone know why this happens or if it is a beta bug that will be fixed?

Maybe related, maybe not quite. I have this issue when using GLSL shaders. Now, I have a pretty decent PC where I can play with shaders with SEUS Ultra + Motion Blur at 45-60+ fps. Now, it's the worst for me with a hammer in hand where my frame rate drops to a constant 7-14fps.

I thought the ore berries always had to be placed on stone. Have you tried the essence (exp) berries? I know for sure those were able to plant on top of each other.

In earlier versions for 1.6.x, bushes could be placed on top of other mature bushes. I've tried with exp bushes, and that didn't work for me. Same result for all other bushes :(

That's the kind of altering tech know how that I dont have.

And now for something less vauge. One believes the texture(s) for moss is in the mod jar file under:
    TConstruct-1.7.10-1.7.0**.jar\assets\tinker\textures\items\*\Moss_*.png

You can copy the texture(s) you wish to change and copy them into a custom resource pack once edited then select it in-game.

I just tested out without any of the unecessary mods.
However, it is still bugging out... =/

How about starting up and testing with clean configs and clean world?

Sorry if it is an impetinent question...

But I know absolutely nothing about modding and use a pack, is there a way to figure out which mod would that be?
It should be noted that is it happening with TC, Thaumcraft and AE2 (I tried loading each separated and it persisted).

    Thanks in advance.

One other way of going about it would be to load each other mod separately until the problem happens again. A bit time consuming depending on how many you have.

Pig iron IRL is mix of carbon and iron, usually meant to be processed into steel. Pulverizing Nether Pig Iron ore in a TE Pulverizer results in steel dust. I'd say Nether Pig Iron ore should become steel in a smeltery.

Now that I've thought about it, and with a little research, that is more reasonable than it producing just molten iron once smelted, considering the high-carbon contents wouldn't just separate after being melted down - not that it has an equivalent molten state or ore in-game anyway, aside from Coal Coke in Railcraft.

... Come to think of it, if Coke Coal was able to be smelted in the smeltery along side iron, I would think that should be able to create Pig Iron. I may just be thinking out loud, but I would like to have the ability to do that. Er, of course, I have no idea if this is a possibility, more or less just throwing that out there.

You can't place two stone furnaces in the same spot either, so your point is invalid also.

I believe that's what they call adding insult to injury.

Also, one noticed that melting down Nether Pig Iron ore from Nether Ores did gave me molten iron in the smeltery instead. Can that be changed somehow? Noticed too that pig iron is a real thing, and suddenly I'm fascinated all over again.

    Hey guys,

I am having some trouble with a client-side crash when some types of items are dropped.

It is happening especially when picking up ingots from castings, when dropping (or when those are dropped by Slime Bosses) slime tools. It also happens when Charged Cetrus Quarts (from AE2) is dropped.

    Any ideas?

    Crash log to attach?

    Hi boni!

I was wondering if you could make a backport to 1.7.2?

Pretty sure that's not going to happen, since mDiyo was adamantly against modding for that version in the first place. But hey, it's up to Boni (though I would highly recommend moving on... 1.7.2 was a disaster from my experience, with so many bugs it makes the Erebus look like a mansion's kitchen comparatively).

Adding to M's comment there (not sure how simply one shortens that nickname); Bug https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-31622 was one from 1.7.2 which I personally would not put up with. Best to keep up with the latest/last version for 1.7.

As well, on a different note, is there a config option to disable single block harversting with TC tools while sneaking? I've looked into it, but came up short.

That update - 1.7.0d4 - did the job, nice!

Marsupilami what forge version and what CodeChickenCore/NEI version do you reccomend for me to use I have a Windows 8.1 computer if that helps. I've tried many versions but have failed I've never been able to use the mod please help and respond.

There are no specific versions to use with any one OS. Use both Recommended versions from the download page for the Minecraft version you plan on using. CodeChickenCore 1.0.2.9 and NotEnoughItems 1.0.2.15 are the current recommend versions for 1.7.10.

soo many mods :( I reckon I might have to resort to that

You'll find that it helps immensely with figuring out all those pesky ID's should you end up going that route.
Hope for the best along the line!
