Sorry to bother, but does anyone have any info as to why updating from NEI version 1.0.3.67 to (seems like) anything above 1.0.4.? would result in all of the items not showing up any longer? As far as I could tell, every other aspect of NEI works just fine but no items would show.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, as I am patient I'll keep coming back and checking this thread. Fortunately nothing seems to be broken with 1.0.3.67 so we can just stick with this for a while.

I am not sure if anyone here can help me out, this error may not even pertain directly to ExtendedWorkbench mod but I am sharing this error log in hopes of some guidance because I thought it was the "Local Weather" mod from Coros. Upon removing the weather mod, this is the new result. If I can at least get an "This error isn't related to my mod" reply, I will be grateful so I know to look elsewhere for the problems.

You're probably OK - the mod is GPL, so you're free to make changes so long as you publish the modified source code. Also, it'd be nice if you could contribute your changes to the Github repository, so other people's changes can be combined with them.
Ditto, I've been trying to get him to upload the source to me or the github for review. I think he is waiting to get a working compile for the last updates he has made before he gives the source. I want nothing more than distribution so all may enjoy, not just us. Thank you so much Iconmaster for this great mod. Will post source as soon as made available.
Hey Iconmaster, I finally got a hold of our resident coder and here is a copy of Aethercraft with Baubbles support (semi-supported) and a new tier of aethercraft armor, but the helmet is still buggy. I think AmethystAir will be updating again in the very near future (a few days) with some "Rings" options to allow for the repair and regen rings to not be so quick to function. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the rate of regen/repair but I'm sure others would say "OP!" and.... yeah Anyways here is a modified version, if we have done anything wrong or you wish for this edition to be removed, please let us know. We love this mod very much so and wanted to help ya along with it, iconmaster. Cheers!

Greetz, I'm looking for a few players to help test out (and just overall play) a mod pack with a huge list of mods. A buffed PC is recommended, but hell I've gotten the pack to run on a laptop with Ubuntu Linux, so there is hope yet.

I was thinking you were referring to builcraft lasers at first, so I will have to look up MFR's lasers, and father-in-law already has space station (cuz I likes dimensions, so supurb!) The hint with the reactors being wider is a HUGE TIP, thanks enough can't not be expressed! I shall try that today (along with IC2 and the gravi-suit or whatever. We got Flux suits but I wanna try to make one of each. Thanks again for the guidance!
I noticed you have Galacticraft and Minefactory Reloaded... Have you considered building a space station with Mining lasers in it, a la Yogscast' Holediggers series?
Also, if you don't have an AE2 network, that's a lot of fun to mess around with. Not to mention the benefits of straightening out what's likely a storage nightmare if you're not using it. To make it even more interesting, set up a remote AE2 system on the above space station using the quantum-entagled singularity system.
You mention issues with mobs: may I suggest making an Atomic Disassembler (Mekanism) and Flux-Infused Jet Plate (Simply Jetpacks). The former is without question the best sword I've used in any mod (not to mention it's also a pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe). The latter is a bit OP (it's pretty much like creative mode flight, but even better), but takes a huge investment in both time and materials to make. By far, the most involved single item I've crafted in Minecraft. Also check out the Free-runners (Mekanism). The use of power to absorb fall damage is nice, but the real advantage to them is the ability to step up 1 block height as if it were stairs.

Thanks much, this will be the start of my "TO-DO list". I seriously can't thank you enough for just pointing me in the right direction. Too bad I have no idea about the hole diggers from yogscast, so i'll have to do some research there. (I refuse to watch well known Youtubers, but I may have to make an exception in this case. I have heard about holediggers but never watch it, I don't care to watch people like DW20 or yogscast too much.)

The problem is that it's not "fresh" enough (cuz God knows I have more than enough mods to choose from) but the problem is the lack of information for each mod. Videos take too long and don't always focus on the things needed to be learned. It usually start off from the middle or end parts and just "shows" what happens and that's about it. I have been able to run across a few tutorials that start from scratch and they help out but I find myself having to go back and forth between them and the game itself.
Adding in more mods to make the game feel fresher, I can only assume you didn't read the entire comment before posting "add more mods", cuz ifyou saw the list then you would get that the second comment in this thread was a jab at humor because the name I have affectionately given this mod pack is "Too Many Friggin' Mods" for a reason, not just to try to impress. XD

Ok so far, I have a little shanty in the mountains, gotta big reactor in the basement, a few resources gathered in barrels at top of shanty, 6 Openblocks' tanks full of XP, small wheat garden, a few solar panels from "Solar Flux", Aethercraft tier 3 machines with one Igneous Extruder pumping in one piece of Obsidian at a time for Aethercraft fuel (to make Yellorite for Big Reactor), which is at a guesstimate around 15-20 blocks tall and 5 wide, and about 7 length, the start of a museum full of statues (located elsewhere), a Star Gate (yes that one), portals to Twilight Forest; the end; nether; CaveWorld; and portal to the mining world. Have one Tinker's Construct Smeltery (no other blocks from TiCon).
I have so much to do, but yet when I start playing, I only find myself farming essence berries, re-fueling the Big Rector with Yellowrite fuel from Aethercraft machines, and fighting for my life because every time I step outside of my base, monsters are merciless and the freakin' zombies are ALWAYS finding my butt and seeking me out. (Other Hostiles do as well, but the Zombies truly seek me out thanks to Zombie Awareness).
I would like anyone and everyone's opinion as to what I should start working on next. I always find myself trying to think of something simple to do like a farm, but the mountainous regions don't provide much flat lands, and I always tend to get side tracked and forget to make "TO-DO" lists. I always tend to watch videos that show middle to end game stuff, but never really how to start off in the mods themselves, or where to go after establishing one's self and base in the world.
To chylex: Thank you very much for creating this mod. I threw together a mod pack of my own making, not really realizing what mod does what. I have had the (dull) pleasure of beating the end dragon once and like you, I was so bored with the battle that it almost drove me away from the end completely. Now that I happen to stumble across your mod (and after much tracing, after all I didn't know which mod created the super OP End Dragon) suddenly the end is exciting all over again! I have a reason for wanting to find and piece together OP armor and weapons.
Once more, thank you very much for taking the time and effort into writing this fantastic mod. I only wish I had known about this mod before... Superb job! If ever I run across some spare money, I will come back and make a donation. Take care and much appreciated once more.

I'm not upset, just trying to prevent a misunderstanding that's all. We really don't like (at least I don't, I don't know about Jon) to copy off of another mod-pack. Instead I'd rather it be an original idea. (I'm sorry to speak for Jon, but just know we don't mind you giving suggestions, but we can't accept mods without authorization.)

No, we cannot. As assuming your modpack has mods that require permissions, we do not have such permissions and we don't have the authority to use any mods that we don't have permission to use, weather you got the permissions from the modders or not. We realize you where offering to help, and we're happy that you are, but because of licensing issues, unless all the mods in the mod-pack were coded by you as well, we cannot take your mod-pack's mod list. - Darth Pikachu

Fair enough, if anything my goal is to pass along configs, and the versions of the mods that are being used as to figure out how to add or change yours. If anything, it is for educational reason and I don't see anyone griping about that. Again, just merely trying to help, not trying to get anyone in trouble just trying to pass along config info and such.... sorry to upset anyone if so.

Holy crap, a really good answer! (Not like the others wern't, but this answer really replies to the question.)
Thanks much, this will be the start of my "TO-DO list". I seriously can't thank you enough for just pointing me in the right direction. Too bad I have no idea about the hole diggers from yogscast, so i'll have to do some research there. (I refuse to watch well known Youtubers, but I may have to make an exception in this case. I have heard about holediggers but never watch it, I don't care to watch people like DW20 or yogscast too much.)

The problem is that it's not "fresh" enough (cuz God knows I have more than enough mods to choose from) but the problem is the lack of information for each mod. Videos take too long and don't always focus on the things needed to be learned. It usually start off from the middle or end parts and just "shows" what happens and that's about it. I have been able to run across a few tutorials that start from scratch and they help out but I find myself having to go back and forth between them and the game itself.
Adding in more mods to make the game feel fresher, I can only assume you didn't read the entire comment before posting "add more mods", cuz ifyou saw the list then you would get that the second comment in this thread was a jab at humor because the name I have affectionately given this mod pack is "Too Many Friggin' Mods" for a reason, not just to try to impress. XD

Ok so far, I have a little shanty in the mountains, gotta big reactor in the basement, a few resources gathered in barrels at top of shanty, 6 Openblocks' tanks full of XP, small wheat garden, a few solar panels from "Solar Flux", Aethercraft tier 3 machines with one Igneous Extruder pumping in one piece of Obsidian at a time for Aethercraft fuel (to make Yellorite for Big Reactor), which is at a guesstimate around 15-20 blocks tall and 5 wide, and about 7 length, the start of a museum full of statues (located elsewhere), a Star Gate (yes that one), portals to Twilight Forest; the end; nether; CaveWorld; and portal to the mining world. Have one Tinker's Construct Smeltery (no other blocks from TiCon).
I have so much to do, but yet when I start playing, I only find myself farming essence berries, re-fueling the Big Rector with Yellowrite fuel from Aethercraft machines, and fighting for my life because every time I step outside of my base, monsters are merciless and the freakin' zombies are ALWAYS finding my butt and seeking me out. (Other Hostiles do as well, but the Zombies truly seek me out thanks to Zombie Awareness).
I would like anyone and everyone's opinion as to what I should start working on next. I always find myself trying to think of something simple to do like a farm, but the mountainous regions don't provide much flat lands, and I always tend to get side tracked and forget to make "TO-DO" lists. I always tend to watch videos that show middle to end game stuff, but never really how to start off in the mods themselves, or where to go after establishing one's self and base in the world.

I will see about adding this in so you can configure the amount limits for each tier... We really need to get in touch with iconmaster so we maybe able to continue with this mod with his blessings.

Sure I understand. Instead, would you just prefer a copy of the configs directory instead? That way no one can complain, and you can copy the configs for certain mods for y'alls pack. Again, just trying to promote sharing and caring and educational experiences.

Fair enough, if anything my goal is to pass along configs, and the versions of the mods that are being used as to figure out how to add or change yours. If anything, it is for educational reason and I don't see anyone griping about that. If anything they want to make sure you arn't making money off of them, which I am not and I am in the process of asking the permissions as is. Again, just merely trying to help, not trying to get anyone in trouble just trying to pass along config info and such.... sorry to upset anyone if so.
