    Thank you gerbil, after sifting through some more threads I was able to find the answer...May I say though, the slight rudeness was not necessary. Not everyone knows the forums as well as you do. In any case, thank you.

    Hey there! I decided to try posting in the hopes that someone could help walk me through this darn error message that I keep receiving. I have uninstalled and re-installed Java. Uninstalled and re-installed Minecraft. I am losing my mind! I am not exactly computer savvy so maybe this problem is not as challenging as it is? I have no idea though. The message below is what I continue to receive.

    I have looked everywhere online and cannot find an answer that works. This laptop is only a few months old and was brand new when I bought it so I wouldn't think it's a problem with it. I really don't know though. Could someone please help? I can offer up any extra info if I missed something, just ask. P.S. I am really sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, as I said before, I am very new to this! Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon! <3
