Preferred Genres/Themes: I don't really care about what a roleplay is about, as much as I care about how well it's run, how active it is, and how unique or interesting the plot/concept is. I am, though, generally more interested in sci-fi and fantasy roleplays, and I don't think I'd ever join a majorly romance-based roleplay.
Preferred Post-Lengths: I don't care how long others' posts are, as long as I have something to reply to. As for my posts, I think I usually have about two to five sentences in my average post.
Preferred Activity Levels: For roleplays that I join, I appreciate if at least one person posts at least every other day (otherwise I tend to lose interest very quickly)
The land of Skaloris is dominated by barren, desolate landscapes. Tundras, moors, and mountains envelop its vast ranges. Such a cold, unforgiving climate would be thought to be uninhabitable, however in this land, that is not the case. One main kingdom resides in the mountains of Skaloris, led by a King. This kingdom is home to the Knights of the Adder, this snake being the king's sigil and an inhabitant of the moorland and mountains. However strong this force might be, the rebellion is just as strong. The opposition, known as the Rogue's Corps, is a group of ruthless soldiers led by the one holding the position of the Hetaya. Although these warriors are much more vicious, that diminish their deep spirituality. Having descended from an ancient tribe, the Rogue’s Corps believes in several higher powers, such as Ka, the Goddess of the wind, Ougtek, the God of the earth, Nix, the God of heat and fire, and Yrquin, the Goddess of water and the cold. These are just some of the many deities that the Rogue’s Corps worships.
Throughout Skaloris, there are also many strange creatures that can be found. Some are quite rare, like dragons and phoenixes. Others, like the Scrix, an arachnid, invertebrate lizard measuring two metres long when fully grown, are quite common.
A war is brewing. For centuries, the Knights of the Adder and the Rogue’s Corps have lived in isolation from each other. Now, as leadership turns, their solitude will be no more. War is coming, and when it does, the armies of Skaloris will be ready.
Rules
-No powerplaying/godmodding. Be realistic, and don’t kill or maim other players’ characters without permission.
-Try to use decent grammar when you can.
-Be respectful, and use common sense please.
-Be appropriate. Refrain from swearing, or posting about mature topics.
-This is a medieval style roleplay, so there are no guns, cars, or modern technology like that.
-Although this is a slightly fantastical roleplay, the only one with magical powers is the Hetaya of the Rogue’s Corps, and they have taken an oath only to use them to heal their people. The Hetaya’s powers only heal minor wounds, such as cuts and broken bones, and they can only be used in small amounts at a time. The Hetaya only has their powers while they are the Hetaya.
-You are allowed a total of six characters. Please don’t create all six in one allegiance.
-I reserve the right to ban anyone from the roleplay if they are not following these rules.
I was thinking that the King's Advisors and the Advising Council would fill the positions of those ranks, so that the power is more evenly distributed.
The Hetaya's magic can be used for more than healing, however they have taken an oath never to use it for anything other than healing.
By the way, any one is free to create the King if they want to.

Description and History- At a young age, it had already been decided that Aria would be the future Hetaya. Confident, fearless, and not afraid to stand up for herself or her allies, Aria grew into a strong, independent Rogue of the Corps, gaining the respect of many, yet still remaining unafraid to rebel. Aria was raised by the Corps as a whole, never knowing who her biological parents were. She was recognized as an exceptional courageous member of the Corps at a very young age, and was seen as a perfect candidate to be the next Hetaya. Although she was fairly young, most of the Corps saw this as a benefit, meaning she would likely be able to rule for longer in good, youthful health. Aria is a skilled warrior, having learned to fight at a very young age. She uses the powers bestowed upon her as Hetaya very minimally, refusing to heal anyone who is not in immediate danger of death. Aria has always been quite rebellious, causing many to fear what she might do some day with her power. Aria was recently appointed Hetaya, after the sudden death of the former Hetaya, and has assumed her role confidently, unafraid to exercise command over her people. Aria has short, dark, reddish brown hair and green eyes. She usually wears the standard armour and clothing of the Corps.

Ah, sorry about that. I had to reset the formatting at one point, and I must have forgotten to underline those again. I'll fix that now.
I'm planning to make a map soon, I'll be sure to upload it when it's done.
